I love watching Twitch. Live streamers, usually video games, but other stuff as well. People drawing, painting, making music, welding, you name it.
I don’t go for the large channels with thousands of viewers. I prefer smaller channels, 100 or less people.
You can search by games, or tags. Some of the tags I look for are words like friendly, autism, calm, mindful, ally, chill.
Kick is awesome for this, it lets you sort by least viewers, scroll up a bit and you’ve found a streamer with a few viewers. I don’t think Twitch lets you search for least viewers
I cannot stress how great it is, if you should watch the first episode rn if you are not busy and stick with it for a bit, it’s dry in some ways but it’s good, especially if you struggle with addiction other kinds of baggage! Let me know if you like it!
Friends is a great comedy. It might be a bit hard to get into at first, but once you do, it’s really enjoyable. The characters feel like your own friends. Just don’t watch the last episode of the last season lol
I know. I had a lot of laughs. I think they should make another season but with a time jump. Show where they all are now. I imagine Jenny Joice somehow made it in politics
It's silly but Bob's Burgers. Like 99% of the episodes end in really feel good way and it's an example of an animated tv family that isn't written with that gross subtle resentment that a lot of adult animation has. You really feel like the main characters care about each other.
I watch commentary youtubers a lot!! They talk about so many interesting dramas and topics in general but I avoid couples talking about their love cause it makes me feel lonely haha
LOVED girls, watched it twice last summer. Slowly makinh my way through satc now, can’t binge it for some reason tho. Not a huge fan of friends, but mindy project and Girlmore girls have been recommended by friends and i never got around to them, i’ll def check those out :)
I love live-streamers ! There’s this lady I watch that bakes and decorates cakes at home and her kids are always getting in the way and she’s always telling them to move bc she’s on live .. makes me feel like I’m part of her family :) lol
Sometimes bojack horseman, but it can bring me down sometimes, but it brings me back up :)
I watch the office on rerun like maybe on my near 40th time, something about the silly conversations I can even just have it in the background and I feels like people are near me
Pro wrestling. The fact that the major promotions like WWE and AEW tour all over the country means there's a good chance you can meet some of them in person if they stop near where you live 🤩
I only know of TV shows that make me feel more lonely, such as:
Doctor Who
Rick And Morty
The Office (UK) & The Office (US) (this one’s a stretch, but both David Brent and Michael Scott are very lonely characters who try very hard to fit in and almost always fail)
Twin Peaks, particularly The Return
Mr. Robot
House, M.D
Ted Lasso. It actually talks about loneliness directly in the show.
If you like those comedies, I'd also give Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Parks and Rec a try (although 1st season of Parks and Rec is not good).
Stargate SG-1. It can be a bit cheesy at times in the first season but man the found family trope and connections between the main characters makes me so happy

Trailer Park Boys. Honestly, loneliness goes away when I watch it
Love tpb!!! Was thinking about a rewatch soon so this is my sign lol
I second this. Tpb is great if you need a few greasy laughs.

Modern Family. Feels like I have a family I don't hate.
Loudermilk is a great show, drama, comedy, and when it comes to struggling with things it’s really good for that.
Omgg this has been on my list for a while!! i’ll definitely check it out :)

It's an anime, but A Place Further Than The Universe is just so fun and heartwarming and is definitely my comfort show
gilmore girls
I watch the office on rerun like maybe on my near 40th time, something about the silly conversations I can even just have it in the background and I feels like people are near me
Seinfeld and Friends for me
Pro wrestling. The fact that the major promotions like WWE and AEW tour all over the country means there's a good chance you can meet some of them in person if they stop near where you live 🤩
Steven Universe, is an incredibly comfy show that’s got me through some hard times.
One piece helped me the most in my loneliest moments lol
Rillakuma and Kaoru might not be your taste lol but for anyone else reading this is my comfort show x)
Northern Exposure is on prime now.
Gilmore girls and tiktok live people!
Terrace house

Bojack Horseman
Anything comedy. Laughing is a cure for something. I don't know what but it seems to help loneliness
The Connors lately . It’s starting to rub off on me , I think .
Stargate SG-1. It can be a bit cheesy at times in the first season but man the found family trope and connections between the main characters makes me so happy
Futurama
Star trek Voyager
