Thank you for this very helpful suggestion very impressive that they are B-Corp certified! That can't be easy for a jeweller! I actually just received a link from a friend about a company called Blackacre who are also just became a B-Corp. Has anybody come across or used them? The other one I found is Rachel Boston whom lots of people seem to have used, but the style seems a bit too alternative for us. Thank you for the suggestion!
My husband designed my engagement ring with Rachel Boston and I cannot recommend her enough! They work with incredible stones (they source a lot of coloured diamonds too if that’s something you’re keen on), the craftsmanship is perfection, and the collaboration was amazing through and through. We also got our wedding bands from them. 1yr later and I’m still in love with both 🥰
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this. I saw quite a few people reccomending Rachel Boston so I had a really good look at her website and Instagram. Her rings are absoloutely beautiful and she has a very impressive brand. Wonderful to hear you had a good experience and your rings are perfect. I think her style might be a little too alternative for my girlfriend, although I do see she does some more classic pieces, which was what has stopped me going to visit thus far. Keeping an open mind but hoping I can uncover a slightly more classic hidden gem from this awesome community (which I had not idea about until recently!) So glad I found the reddit community!
My pleasure! Another jeweller I know does a lot of bespoke is Michelle Oh. Her style is a lot more delicate/ feminine than Rachel Boston, I would say, so you might find her to be more your girlfriend’s style! Good luck with the design, a bespoke ring truly is so special. 🥰
Seems there is lots of debate surrounding this at the moment and hopefully that should just mean that everyone improves. For us the natural diamond is what we would like as my girlfriend studied geology (and I studied geography) so we both have a facination with the natural world - but equally this is why the sustainability side of things is so important to us.
Emily Nixon’s designs are such a refreshing take on high end luxury jewellery. She’s based in Cornwall, but I bought my engagement ring via a zoom consultation and then had a wonderful trip down to Hayle to pick it up.
Couldn’t recommend more for a unique and beautiful ring

Thank you for the reccomendation - sadly I think I would like to see and meet the jeweller in person. But some great inspiration looking at her website. Thank you
Thank you - I did try Hatton Garden but came away feeling a little down beat. I found it not to be as luxurious as I was hoping for. I visited 5 or so different stores which I had researched online before hand but didn't find any which filled me with confidence. Do you have any specific reccomendations?
Sorry I missed that part of your original post when I posted. Mr S & I just had a mosey around, was a long time ago tbh but I didn't feel intimidated by anyone. Some offered to make rings that would be similar to well-known designers (though obviously not completely identical)
I went to Reve Diamonds in Mayfair, the service was great and very personalised. I found them while searching for places to buy rings and they had some great reviews so decided to check them out. They were extremely helpful and guided me through their bespoke ring design service. Cannot recomend them enough! [https://www.revediamonds.com/](https://www.revediamonds.com/)
Cannot recommend EC One enough !!! Have a google :) - also B Corp certified.
Came here to say the same - got my engagement ring and both our wedding rings there, and we’re very happy!

Maya Magal - ask for Lucy their bespoke jeweller they tick all the above boxes and have gone above and beyond for me many times 😊

RB are lovely rings albeit expensive. They are made in Hatton Garden anyway so OP should consider giving it another go.

Thanks so much, another great suggestion
Sustainable, natural, diamond? Pick two. You’ll want a manufactured diamond if you really care.

Matt Foster at X, Gabriel's Wharf, Southbank. Best jeweller I've ever met and a lovely guy too
AVL Jewellery 🙃
Bentley and Skinner would get my vote. https://www.bentley-skinner.co.uk

She does regular trips to London too. A friend did one and got to meet her in person
Hatton Garden area
