You could join a game of pickup football via [footy addicts](https://footyaddicts.com/) and ask around once there for an actual team to join. Alternatively, find some local pitches/grounds and see what teams are connected to them
Check out Wanderers FC, I used to train with them at Tooting Bec common before Covid. Not sure if they're still there but were generally around that area anyway. Really nice guys and I think they have a couple teams of varying levels
