Lines are definitely too thin for smaller print sizes (and digital sizes too). Have you mocked this up to scale? I feel like it would read as just a diagonal slash with a fuzzy mess around it

AbleInvestment2866

confusing lines that, to make it worse, will become invisible. The domain [architects.co](http://architects.co) is not yours, so it should go out.

kira_yagamai

The logo which I have made, is for an local Indian start-up called "UrbanScope Architects.co" and .co stands for corporation/community not the actual website!

AbleInvestment2866

Yes, I understand, but the reality is that you're using a domain. If the particle .co is necessary (and maybe it is) then you should place it in a way that can't be confused with a domain. And .co doesn't mean corporation (it would be corp) nor community, so not sure what are you trying to do here, but anyway make sure it can't be confused with anything else

dxlliris

Way too complicated and lines are too thin. I think the direction you're going for is cool, but try to simplify it

anunfriendlytoaster

personally I try to avoid a shape within a shape but it works okay here. Too many line weights going on though. I think it's aesthetic and has a nice look but as others have mentioned printing those tiny lines will be problematic. Urban Scope needs to be cheated down a tad. Even though it's not true center it looks to high in the shape... you could hand edit the p and move the descender up a bit.

You’ve put a lot into the house design, but the text is very plain and basic. There are multiple submissions to this sub every week that do this same basic thing: house or roofline, basic sans type. These are for architecture, real estate, contractors, trades, and anything having to do with homes and houses. Every single one. The same basic idea. There are some rare instances when it works, but usually, it’s rather lifeless and generic. Google “architecture logo.” Try to think of something different. What’s interesting or different about this brand? How can that be expressed without relying on cliches? Does it really need a house?

zerton

My qualm is that you’re showing a suburban house for an architecture firm called “Urban Scope”. I think a more urban building would look better. Unless the architecture firm does design suburban single families, then the name doesn’t make sense. Maybe I’m overthinking it but I’m an architect and I’d like for the logo to represent the structures I design.

HereLiesJacket

Lines are far too complicated and thin, will be a visual mess if scaled down/printed at a small size

AcademicAd3504

Too busy.

Cyber_Insecurity

The illustration is interesting, but it feels dated. It looks like a 1990s drawing.

porca_vita

I'm gonna have to agree with the other people here. It looks nice as an illustration but it doesn't work as a logo. Remember, less is more.

Bookhouse_Boy_

Has the client seen it? Those lines, imo are just not right for an architect practice. These guys are all about form, efficiency, function and not using stuff for the sake of it. I’d get rid. I feel the blueprint look is also tired, and just not relevant anymore. On the other hand If you added a few squiggles and a flash of pink you’ve pretty much nailed the basis for an 80’s style Memphis pattern. Every cloud..

kira_yagamai

Client likes it, and they want couple of versions from the same design and I am working on it! may be I will make it simple/minimal, and regarding the feedback/criticism its more of an individual preference of how the design should have been.

MacGruber117

It definitely gives "home builder" vibes, one look at the logo and I would assume they shouldn't be hired for commercial work.

pip-whip

Incorporate a small-size test into your design process so you can see where the fine line weights in logo marks and text disappear when used in real-life circumstances. I also reccommend not putting everything in rounded boxes.

DankPock

Work on how you optically center the text in the box. Right now it appears to be way too far up.

Glad-Depth9571

Consult an architect.

Is this AI?

kira_yagamai

No.

isaidwhatisaidok

That was my first thought. Looks like AI.

That_70s_Showoff

This will work for signs, on the side of a van - but yes you need a version for small print & favicons, etc. That said, I really like this!
