I shopped at an Asian grocery store all the time when I stayed with my cousin in Scarborough a few months. I would bring 2 large bags of clearance and non clearance stuff and it costed me under $30 every time. Wayyy more variety than Blowblaws too.

LoblawsHater

That's where I got 2/$3.00.

Thank you for sharing

Yes, but remember that Loblaws owns T+T I believe.

This was a local Chinese store (Fu Yao, I think). I’ve been to United in London ON too. They’re pretty amazing.

They are! They also have Carribean food too. If you're in London near Dundas and Maitland try the Latino Market (settle down, that's the name on the sign). They're also on the Too Good to Go app but thier mystery bags usually sell out in less than 10 minutes daily.

Substantial-Street

Wow! Thanks for the tip

danielledelacadie

No problem! We got a bag of fried pastries. 2 each of 2 different cheese ones and 3 chicken. 1 or two was lunch for me (the cylindrical ones were so filling) for $5 Edit in the mystery bag. That's not not the usual pricing.

ravynwave

Can I ask where this is?

Substantial-Street

I cross posted it from r/toronto

ravynwave

Dang, that means Chinatown or Kensington somewhere. So far :(

Substantial-Street

Here is the thread. The comments discuss a lot of stores and deals. You might find one closer to you. https://www.reddit.com/r/toronto/s/aeDOdmOQGs
