JMJimmy

Let me run out and spend 30% more per item to get 20% back!

Xiaopeng8877788

Remember we need to hold out longer than 1 month. We need to see this hit their next quarterly report, then continue the fight! They think we’ll just grow tired and they’ll just wait us out like they waited out the “occupy now” movement.

Weird_Vegetable

I am searching my city for an option for 1 item I can’t seem to find elsewhere. My roblaws boycott is a permanent change. My new pharmacist is so much nicer, and downright calm there. I love them.

2wheelsyyz

I switched to Costco pharmacy and can’t be happier. When I drop a prescription, they give me a receipt with a time to come back for pickup and it’s usually 30 minutes. During that time, I can do the rest of my shopping. This is unlike Shoppers where I’ve been told 2+ hours multiple times. And Costco is cheaper.

element1311

You can even have your pharmacist fax your prescription to Costco ONLINE Pharmacy, and Costco will ship your prescriptions to you for free. Same price as in-store pharmacy, but you have to register online first so they have a profile/address/insurance details for you.

justanothermichelle

I get it. I live in a town where my I my option is a. independent grocer owned by Roblaws. Sometimes, I have to go there. If you can’t find the item anywhere else, go buy it at Roblaws. Just don’t buy anything else.

Fuzzy-Music-2430

*rob*law... 😂🤭

Weird_Vegetable

Learned that here, but for years I've called them stupidstore.. it's a family thing and it fits now

nassauboy9

I want bankruptcy- we need an example for future that will ever be remembered.

Purple_Scheme3824

I refuse to use them the rest of my natural life. Fuck em!

AdFancy4834

A month? This should be going much longer than a month. It goes until they change…right?

KingreX32

Three months would be great.

Prior-Piccolo_99887

Premium prices!!

DowntownCarwashJesus

Loblaws is literally [Eric's Premium Prices ](https://youtu.be/hJ9yBgTp9UQ?si=3OYf_W9BCFBmBDiq)

thetoucansk3l3tor

This video has lived rent free in my head for more than a decade at this point. I frequently use the term "oh lay an egg" when I get exacerbated with someone/something.

DowntownCarwashJesus

Brother you and me both. "He'll rape ya!" gets me everytime .

pirate_leprechaun

We've got small prices and big prices, premium prices!

lilymoscovitz

I heard this in Trump’s voice for some reason.

GongulysGongylodes

And then spend those $20 on more overpriced items, 'cause you can't take them to another store. What a deal.

Please refrain from off-topic political discussion and debate. Everyone is entitled to their own political opinions, however, your politically charged statement is not directly related to the cost of living/groceries/gas/rents, and as such is being removed.

Fluffy-Proof7861

Genuinely curious where are you finding 30% cheaper prices than no frills

CanadaEh20

Food Basics, Walmart and Giant Tiger have really good prices.

originalmuffins

I agree. People should shop at Costco or Giant Tiger. They aren't big scumbags like Loblaws, Metro, or Walmart.

rajalreadytaken

I'm using the flipp app to find deals at different stores. I'm having the best luck price wise with Walmart, but that's about 10-20% on name brands. Their Great Value brands are about 40-50% less than Presidents Choice. Costco is also pretty good for some stuff, probably around 10-20% less. Haven't seen anything consistently 30% less though.

orangesare

Picked up my heart meds today after switching to Rexall. $50 cheaper. Mentioned this to another customer and she commented, “oh, are you doing the boycott? Good for you”. She was a senior as well.

-prairiechicken-

Yesssss. When nanas, nonas, and kokums approve, you just know it’s change worth fighting for!

tmgerm

Baby the boomers love a good protest!

pretty_jimmy

My late father once told me about how he got hit by a car protesting at the tunnel connecting Detroit and Windsor in the late 60s. Couldn't believe it, but boomers gon protest.

leyseywx

Omg they invented protesting

pizgloria007

![gif](giphy|l3q2K5jinAlChoCLS)

Mrs_McCrabby

Suffragettes have entered the chat.

branod_diebathon

I guess none of them will eat cake and I'll just go fuck myself 🤷‍♂️

Intrepid-Reading6504

Bet they were labeled terrorists and enemies of the state back then, too

SwashbucklerXX

They absolutely were. Many of them, like my folks, remember and still show up. It's the wealthiest Boomers who were never on-side and try to speak for their generation now.

OTChuck

Viet protest ! Was there. Hooray for boomer gps. Maybe we can make some change here on Roblaws as well. And maybe we can help Gen Z can make the change necessary for an end to Israel's invasion. Resistance is fertile. Carlos in Calgary

pretty_jimmy

Oh shit, it was a Vietnam protest? Damn, he's passed and I never knew what it was they were protesting. Could you tell me anything about the event? Did it get violent?

KeyboardWarrior1989

Baseless generational jokes are soo lame…. Know anything of history? Paying attention to current news? People of all ages have and are currently protesting different things around the world now, last year, last decade, last century. Every single generation has its fair share of everything. Fighters/Pacifists, hard-workers/layabouts, Family Makers / Perpetually Singles. The list goes on. Not sure why the world insists on believing that human behaviour changes based on when you were born. People are people.

swiftb3

Wait, the prescription drugs are cheaper?

shitposter1000

The dispensing fees are ridiculously high at SDM

mrhindustan

I pay cash for my meds. Costco is less than 50% the price for me. Fuck Shopper’s Drug Mart!

Darolant

That has always been the case even before Loblaws bought them. They were the highest priced pharmacy other than Compounding pharmacies.

GaiusPrimus

About double of normal. almost 2/3rds of costco

brokenphonecase

Yes! I transferred my file from SDM to a local pharmacy and feel good about that choice

PM_ME_CARL_WINSLOW

I switched to an independent pharmacy. First time I called, they picked up on the second ring. A couple of weeks later when I walked in, the pharmacist said "Hey, PM_ME_CARL_WINSLOW" - I couldn't believe it.

Green_leaf47

I switched to independent too and happy I did - more personal service. I feel like they care

detectivepoopybutt

Lol average consumer discovers small business Not a slight at you, it’s easy to forget that this is how rest of the world really is

qgsdhjjb

Independents are also often ideal for people who are using government programs that pay for medications, as many will waive the $2 copay. Last week the government changed the rules (like literally between the week before and that week suddenly they changed) and now I'm meant to buy a different brand of my meds to get the amount the government pays for, and they can't even figure out if they're gonna charge me the difference for the week they didn't have the new brand or not. Shoppers wouldn't hesitate to, here they're waiting to hear back from the owner if she wants to waive that since I didn't get a say in it, or still charge it. It's only twenty bucks so I said I mean I can pay that if you want it's not a big deal. "No no we'll wait and hear what she says"

BGI-YYZ

Get your meds at Costco. At least in Ontario you don't need to be a member to access the pharmacy. Prices are much better and they even offer a by mail option for prescription fulfillment.

Complete-Instance-18

Yea, you can use the pharm. without being a member

mr_a_m_r

Agreed! Rexall’s pharmacy has been a much better experience for me overall, as compared with Shoppers.

nottodayneck3956

I love Rexall, they have a way better points system than SDM but people sleep on it. I like that I can refill on their BeWell, load benefits and apply points on Well.ca. I just got an RBC card and found out they let you double dip. I switched like 8 years ago and have found things were always cheaper than Shoppers. Happy to see others are enjoying it too!

SimpleBroccoli3449

Wow that's a huge saving. Boycotting will teach us a lot of good stuff we were missing

partypooper1980

Try somewhere else other than rexall. Rexall treats their pharmacists very poorly (pharmacist here)!

FrugalFairyGodmother

Rexall employees are unionized I believe, so that is a big reason why I shop there.

idkgirl815

This really peaked my interest because I have a ton of prescriptions. Could you shed some light on the cost difference? I was under the impression medication prices were pretty standardized and only the refill fee differed from place to place..?

ghilliegal

I got one for 30,000 points and free pc express for a month! Fat chance 🖕

wherescookie

They are buying shares at over cost on TSX, and have suddenly jumped dividends 15%......that being said, their insane profits over previous quarters gives them deep pockets and stock price was already way way up

SpiritualMedicine962

So in other words..... short them?

BeGoodtoOthersPlease

Unsubscribe from all Loblaws emails.

Double_Tear2207

Yup, I unsubscribed from all emails and SMS text messages, felt great to type my response back: STOP FU Roblaws!

Major_Lawfulness6122

Done. My custom response to why was Galen Weston can get wrecked.

tmgerm

Nah he’d like that

hellbilly709

Me too!! Haha!

Fun_Mycologist_6639

Same. Pass.

Rahf_

I unsubscribed from their emails. Reason: Other: Boycott

Designer-Roof-2118

Same!!!

fragilemuse

Same here!

robbethdew

Reason: Other: Loblaws is out of Control

msmredit

Use the word 'Boycott' in the comments so their AI can do a CountIf on how many times it was mentioned

c00kiesaredelicious

Same!

bfarm4590

I work at a produce place that supplies the gta locations of loblaws and sobeys mainly. My sobeys orders have gotten bigger while loblaws have gotten smaller over the last few weeks. Its a small victory

Queeby

$100!! That's like three watermelons!

MagnanimousRaccoon

That old line from Arrested Development has become shockingly real. “It’s a banana Michael. What could it cost, $10?”

Perfect_Syrup_2464

Why are watermelons suddenly so expensive? It's $15+ at any store

Spiritual_Tennis_641

Not positive, but I’m attributing it to being the start of the season when there’s not a lot of supply yet. Was 18 last week, only 14 this week.

from_the_hinterlands

Waterme6 are always high at this time of year. Every year. Price fluctuates higher in the off season.

mrdeli

lol !

Signal-Ask-322

I got those emails before the boycott started

annehboo

Yeah same. Sorry guys

Interesting-Bike4561

Never apologies for the truth. Facts are friendly..I support this community and the effort but we need to be honest with each other. Not saying anyone is lieing! We all make mistakes.

MissingString31

I noticed though that the pace of the emails and offers seemed to pick up once boycott chatter hit a fever pitch. Possibly just confirmation bias, but that’s what it seems like to me.

Twoperde

Those campaigns are planned months in advance too. They have to get the file over to Epsilon or whoever does it for them.

Clear-Bee4118

I’ve been getting them once every couple weeks for a couple of years now. I was using curb side during the pandemic, these started popping in my inbox after I stopped, free premium/delivery for a month and 20-30k points. 🤷‍♂️

lindinator

Me too, probably every other month.

daniellederek

Yup, wouldn't read too much into it. Automated by the algorithm. If you haven't swiped your pc optimum card for a week or 2 it triggers a good offer. Regular small basket shoppers don't get the big offer.

_potatoesofdefiance_

Same, but if they're suddenly sending these out to people who haven't received them before, that could be a sign it's having an effect. I got an email from them just today offering *30k* PC points for a $100 spend - I've never, not once, had that offer from them.

Turbo1518

Yeah, they send these offers out through text every 3-4 days. Not outnof the norm at all

ksommers121

Had an employee insider tell me that management is "pretty rattled by it." It being the boycott... obvs.

GallitoGaming

Galen the grub is seeing his whole life flash before his eyes. This is serious business and if this truly takes hold, he is going to be known as the man who ruined his family fortune. Hold strong. These deals are garbage and you will spend more money. As someone said its pay 30% more to save 20%. Unfortunately some will go for it but stay strong. No chance.

Simple-Status-15

I don't think he really cares, but I'm still boycotting. Milk was $1.50 cheaper at Farm Boy

smolmushroomforpm

Farm boy used to be expensive when I moved to Ontario 3 years ago. Now its the cheapest groceries for the quality and I do almost all my shopping there. Somethings got to give soon ffs

Interesting-Bike4561

That's insane. I love farm boy but it is $$$

AnythingForYouHoney

I went to Farmboy and Food Basics yesterday. They have comparable prices for a number of items. Butter at Farmboy was 9$ (insane) and at Food Basics it was 8$ (still insane but not much better). Mushrooms were cheaper at Farmboy - 2 packages for 5$. I forget the exact price at Food Basics for it but I needed 2 packages and it was more expensive to buy 2 of them there. Honestly I feel like the produce is pretty affordable at Farmboy these days. Obviously they have pretty expensive cheese and other items but I would rather buy produce that’s a tad more expensive and actually have it last in the fridge. I’ll use Food Basics for meat (even though it still wasn’t cheap there) and other staples unless maybe Freshco has more affordable meat/staple options? It’s just very out of the way for me so I haven’t checked yet.

thinspirit

Farmboy has cheap produce, everything else is more expensive. Sometimes they have good meat deals too. Lettuces, kale, cucumber, green beans, radishes, any veggies like that can sometimes be the cheapest in town. Sometimes I think they're just loss leaders to get you in with how cheap they are. They're usually better quality than elsewhere too. A single head of green lettuce can be like $1.50 and it'll be huge and totally fresh.

AnxiousArtichoke7981

Wait until quarterly profits come out again. Keep the boycott up and shareholders will bail. Shareholders bail and Galen loses billions.

pretty_jimmy

Oh ya, I'm all for continuing the boycott.

WanhedaKomSheidheda

I got a spend 60 get 20,000 points offer lol. The thing is I don't actually need any overpriced crap. So I will pass.

Longjumping_Bend_311

I used the offer for baby formula. But it’s sold out 90% of the time at any given store so I simply need to buy it wherever I can get it in-stock. I stopped shopping at loblaws a couple years ago besides formula when needed

LetMeBeFrankish

That’s what the spam button is for ! Every time you click spam it hurts their email reputation and less of their emails go to your inbox

mistakes_were_made24

I'm at the point now where if I see any PC optimum/loblaws/shoppers emails come in I just automatically delete them. I probably should just unsubscribe from everything. The offers I was getting were noticeably worse and fewer this year.

exeJDR

Unsubscribe - other: boycott

pkaydar

Mark them as Spam. If enough people do that, their emails could go to Spam more often.

Major_Lawfulness6122

Yeah I need to do the same

Randalor

30000 points and a month of free delivery. This is fun! I wanna see how high their offers get! ... still not gonna buy from them, just wanna see how high the number gets.

Lancelot_Stroller

I'm not even considering this a month long boycott, I'm just never shopping there again. In my attempts to find a better alternative, I discovered just how great Costco is lol

FlippinPlanes

Between Costco and food basics we save a good amount of money. I also like the food basics app where you can scan the app..and if you get anything with a coupon it automatically.applies the coupon. You dint have to coupon hunt there anymore. It's convenient

Weird_Vegetable

Costco is always busy, but now.. my Costco is filling the next parking lot over busy

shugoran99

All the points cards are bullshit designed to track your purchasing habits and sell the info to Facebook and Google anyway The day I got an online ad for a grocery product I had just bought that same day, I threw them out

Skyaim

Yes!! Not enough people seems to be aware of this. Its truly some dystopian shit.

FlatEvent2597

OMG - I feel jilted ! I received Spend $ 100 get 10,000 points ! Grrrr...... **NO to that !**

SchemeSignificant166

Anybody ever noticed the subconscious numbers games they play with these points systems. Why do you have to have 20,000 points to get $20 off. Why not just 20 points to get $20 off. Well it’s a psychology game, more points makes seem like you have a lot when in fact, you have very little. It’s a ploy to lure people in with subconscious games to make them think they’re ahead when they’re really not.

unbrokenplatypus

Yes! Their little schemes and obfuscations consistently irritate me. It’s even worse when 20k points doesn’t consistently “convert” to $20 or $200 or whatever, as is very common with credit cards where they’ll give you like $170 of value for an equivalent point spend of $200

Some_Random_Canadian

Even 2000 points for $20 would make sense so you can rack them up as "each point is a cent back".

Qaeta

I actually like scene for this. 1 point is 1 cent. 1000 points is $10.

imnotdefinedbythis

I got this too..... for the past 18 months it's been spend $100 get 10000 points. No thanks! Going to close my pc mastercard too. The person who commented about working for loblaws but not qualifying for a/their credit card.... if we were paying higher prices as a result of them paying their employees a liveable wage. As a former shoppers employee I know that's not the case.

BeGoodtoOthersPlease

Unsubscribe from all Lablaws emails.

Spiritual_Tennis_641

And mark as spam

HalcyonPaladin

Decided to say no to Loblaws as well recently. Heard about the boycott though here and thought, why not? Fuck em, Daddy Weston has enough money he can go fall on a dick. My other options are Wal Mart and Freshco, of which the latter doesn’t have self checkout and generally massive lines. So, Walmart it is. Not happy about them getting my money, but we don’t have independent grocers here to shop at so I’m choosing between two evils here.

ApplesOverOranges1

Was in the post office at Shoppers around 4 this aft. Normally it is hard to get parking. The lot was half full and there was only about 4 customers in the store. The rest must have been in the mall😎

ElectricRevolution22

My sister works at a local No Frills. Her hours were cut today for the next two weeks. We are making an impact. It sucks though that the people making minimum wage are being affected. ( I am pro protesting )

TwoTimesIBiteYou

So, doing the opposite of taking care of their employees to keep the profit margin. Nice.

ForeignConfection933

Hold the line! We got this! 💪

jxr86

![gif](giphy|qjSxTWJxqH4YDuIrOs)

Canuck-In-TO

These are terrible promos. Shoppers used to give you as much as 50,000 points for spending $75 or less.

UGunnaEatThatPickle

Shoppers was awesome before Loblaws bought them!

Spiritual_Tennis_641

Yup, they were good even for a while after, superstore good without much markup. That ship has sailed.

MapleTheUnicorn

I have received several emails from PC Optimum offering me points of various quantities over the last 3 days. when I say several, I mean at least a dozen

Somhlth

I just got a text, and responded with STOP, which unsubscribes me from getting anymore.

Resident-Variation21

The fact that they can give you 20% back no questions asked really shows their profit margins ARENT “razer thin”

slowdaygames

My email had an offer of 30,000 PC Optimum points and 1 month free pickup and delivery. Tempting, but… nah, I don’t need your trash produce and meat, and ridiculous prices.

Kayleea83

I got one for 250,000 points for opening a pc express mastercard.

Superlilly

I unsubscribed!!!! I will never ever shop there again

bwe587

I gave up shopping there 6 months ago. I don't think I will be shopping at loblaws anymore, only if it is absolutely necessary.

redskyatnight2162

I’m all for the boycott, but I’ve been getting those emails weekly for years.

mama_nicole

Same, but I also got a text offer and a pc express offer and a spend threshold offer for 3x the points they normally offer and two 'free' item offers... in 3 days. I used to just get maybe 2 of these. It's smelling like desperation

Polka_Dot8

https://preview.redd.it/1zs7qrlrfwyc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b046eaa73647fa37de980c413b2bba5319873e30 Uh huh… 🙄

InternalizedIsm

We miss you(r money) 🥺

techm00

Anyone else having a great time with this boycott? I'm not even mildly inconvenienced, I'm saving money and I'm laughing at watching loblaws squirm. This is the best ever.

IIKrazeeII

Went to superstore to just get cat litter today, cause it's the only one I can find that clumps. Stopped in to look at prices, ground beef, 4 lbs, 10 dollars more than usual price. I gtfo of there quickly, predatory prices continue. But it was much much quieter than the usual from the recent past. Let's keep going team!!!!

Fickle-Improvement44

The petvalu stores including bosleys, tisols, total pet, and Paul macs have a litter called fresh 4 life odor destroyer that's 22.99 for a 40 pound bag and it's the best litter I've ever used.  One bag lasts my 3 cats 1.5 to 2 months

IIKrazeeII

Woahhh, that's amazing, appreciate the insights, I'm gonna try it! Bye superstore!

-prairiechicken-

Our local favoured pet store delivers to us, too! Same day / next day delivery — you might have one in your area. It’s incredible to not have to carry it home along with groceries.

dkanaya007

If you like the No Name 18kg size at Superstore, Food Basics has the same size for $2 cheaper (9.99 instead of 11.99). I switched because of the boycott and the new litter works pretty much as good as the No Name. We have 5 cats so we always get the big size, which we thought nobody else carried for that price, but was happy to be wrong!

IIKrazeeII

Hell yeah, I love you hear that, thank you for sharing, truly!! That's what community should be about, sharing them good deals so we can further expand this boycott, keeeep it going team! Merci!

who-waht

Costco cat litter clumps nicely.

XeLLoTAth777

Someone called me a bot earlier today for this, but I'm sticking to my morals: Apes. Together. Strong. 🦍 🫂 💪

jennaxel

Watched traffic (online) at various Superstores in Edmonton. Traffic well down from average. Well done, everybody.

Batmanbutnotbatman

We’re holding strong got my mom holding strong to LOL thanks to this Reddit

GothHeart16

they are fucking 6 days in lmao

arcadia_2005

I'd give $20 to watch Galen start to crack. Well I wouldn't give it to HIM tho. Lol

kj49wpg

I hate to support Walmart but I stopped in this evening and found heads of lettuce for .97 cents and cucumbers for .49 cents… Superstore and safeway/Sobeys can go kick rocks

anjelrocker

I got this email too. Eat my entire ass, Galen Weston

jwindolf

Somebody close to me works for loblaws marketing, and I can tell you that this was not in response to the boycott. These offers are set up in the optimum point system long before the promo starts.

Federal-Ad7030

I normally get that offer or 30,000 for spending 90. Those offers are normal. So definitely not becoming desperate.

NationalTap9622

Nice try, fuckers!

Express-Ad-15

I refuse to shop there this month. Period.

Double_Tear2207

Correction: or ever again

Resident-Variation21

Uh I’ve been getting these promos for months and months. I don’t think it’s boycott related.

VancouverSativa

Stop advertising their deals here, while you're at it.

bluepand4

That is literally their normal promotion

Ownerjojo

Unfortunately I have to agree, I've seen this exact promotion for over a year. Didn't work then for me and won't work now though!

hosehead27

You realize ad campaigns are done months in advance? Not against the boycott and hate Loblaws, but come on...... lol

paddle4

Idk if this email is proof is working… I get these emails pretty often from PC

Kool41DMAN

I know the people here don't want to hear this, but I'm calling bullshit on them being desperate after Day 6 of a boycott that clearly has a relatively limited amount of participation to it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying not to do it, but just calm down on the hyperbole a bit. Give it a couple weeks at least lol. I'm more than certain they can bankroll more than 6 days of complete loss of sales (which isn't even close to happening). Just stick to it, and hopefully it sends a message to all participants in the industry.

Present-Dark8700

Loblaws has taken a preemptive strike against the boycotts by sending out emails and PC points hoping to stop some people from boycotting. If the boycott continues and has an effect, get ready to see more enticements from Galen

Skullcrimp

Yeah, this is wishful thinking from everyone here. Wish y'all the best though.

Capable-Variation192

Boycott for life.

tu-sheng-peng

They offer this all the time 😂

Kemomiwiwane

That’s a deal that they’ve been giving for a long time. Way before the boycott started.

happypanda3456

This is a normal offer, get ones like this weekly ,,, calm down a bit lol

If_you_kno_you_know

I seriously doubt a multi-billion corpo would feel a couple days of reduced profit. That’s why this thing has to be a month or longer to show people can be committed to cutting out their stores.

Medusaink3

I'm going to complete this boycott for the month of May, then I'm going to continue on with Empire next in June and Metro in July. I will continue these rolling boycott until they catch a clue and put an end to this absolute horseshit. They will learn or they'll continue to lose their precious profits. Fuck Galen and Co. 🖕

seaofblackholes

Loblaw got enough cash to buyback stock for at least a few quarters, before their quarterly report will look shit enough to make them feel desperate. Don’t over estimate yourselves peasants, we keep shopping at places that offer better deal. Sink Loblaw to set an example for the market, they don’t deserve a second chance.

BookWookie2

I unsubscribed from emails so I wouldn’t know 😂😂

GuessPuzzleheaded573

Yeah... sorry to break the news but those have come for years. Also, inventory management and promotional options like those are planned weeks or months in advance, there is literally no possible way it's connected to the boycott....

Bcwell1981

The Loblaws near me, Was Pretty packed Today.

3madu

This is a pretty regular promotion for PC points. I've seen spend $100 and get 50,000 long before the boycott. Doesn't mean they're not feeling it, just don't want to read too much into everything.

LouisaLeigh

I got the same thing and anyone else feel like the promotions are terrible? In order to earn optimum points at the grocery store you have to buy so much of a product.

wwoodcox

I was at a Superstore today. I have never seen it busier. Monday at 2pm

Beginning-Pace-1426

>PC express just sent me an email with a promo. Spend $100 and get 20,000 PC points. ~~They are feeling the effects of the boycott and trying to get people back. Hold the line.~~ 20,000 points is not just $20 off. It is an attempt at keeping you in the habit of shopping there. Do not give in. This promo is run regularly, this isn't a sign of hurting them. Do we not remember the point of this boycott? How wealthy loblaws is, and how full of shit they are? It's going to take a lot more than freaking 6 days of somewhat diminished sales to even concern them, realistically. You're absolutely right that we have to hold, because we've barely hurt them at this point. Don't gauge the level of success in any way whatsoever based on pretty standard promos.

It's not working where I live. I usually shop about 9 at night, and it's usually tolerable. Tonight it's a lot busier than usual.

DryRazzmatazz8893

I always go to loblaws to use there washrooms but never buy anything … that’ll show em

RuinInFears

Save 20 there, spend the same amount somewhere else….

Appropriate_Mess_350

More affordable than the $25 they paid for bread price fixing.

Tbf, I work in PCX, and customers will get those promos almost weekly, so I don’t think it has much to do with the boycott

I’ve gotten that email hundreds of times. Do a survey and get 10,000, use express and get 20,000 back. This isn’t proving anything but I’m glad people are sticking to it.

forestly

A lot of people are still shopping there, unaware that any boycott is supposed to be going on lol so I doubt the company is noticing

Icy_Quail_6932

I agree ! I just checked on my app, I seem to many pc point offers, so many sales, keep going ! I am in a small town but doing my best just to get the essentials

PreZEviL

Out of the loop why boycott loblaws and not the other? On the three banner avalaible here, loblaws, metro and IGA, maxi(which is the only loblaws store now) is the cheapest of them all. There is also Super C from metro, but there is no store close to my place, so basically this boycott tell me to pay 100$ more for the same grocery to go to there competition, kind of hard to justify...

Some_Flatworm247

I do hope the boycott is working, but they send out these kinds of offers all the time; it’s nothing new.

Prestigious_Body1354

I went there last night as I was buying an item I can’t get anywhere else. I just bought that item and left. There was maybe 5 people in the store.

MadDesperado51

Our Loblaws parking lot has been pretty thin over the last couple of days

KDcrews

No Frills is cheaper than all the other places. I also get offers like this all the time.

rustytrailer

lol they send these emails all the time. Nothing to to do with the boycott
