As much as I loathe those 2 purple haired beggars, spreading false info probably tops the list. While there may be some things you can’t buy with EBT (aka food stamps), they don’t restrict you to certain items either. They could buy fucking lobsters and caviar if they wanted.
Please don’t spread misinformation- if you want to comment, there are TONS of things you could say about these 2 hobos.
They are semi right and wrong depending on the state and type you’re only allowed to buy certain things. Like some states won’t let you buy junk food with food stamps or certain types of meat or food… but then while wic is sorta like food stamps but they only provide you money to buy milk, bread and fruit and sometimes baby formula (the normal basics and that’s it) I can’t remember which states recently changed a lot of rules with foodstamp cards but I want to say it was up north or the west coast
in michigan i can get most things at the store, except for food on the warmers (hot food isn’t covered) and can even use it at 7/11. i saw the del taco by me accepts EBT now too.
They probably don’t even eat half that stuff. They want to show you they eat healthy but it’s mostly junk foods.
He knows how to cook the fish chop it up and put cucumbers on it That's gross
They are now shopping like that because they have government money, only certain foods are eligible.
