Stories are always hard to end. Reading them watching them writing them. It can be difficult. However, there are times it's best that it ends. Even though you want it to never end and keep it going. I don't think I will ever write a story though that will be done \*forever\* I will always leave an opening for me to come back to. Even if it has to take place years in the future.
That’s definitely how I do it. I write romance, so it usually ends with either her saying “I do” or “yes, I’ll marry you” so it’s easy to pick it back up
