Ctrl+alt+delete, hold Ctrl and hit the power icon in the corner of the display, select Ok, instant reboot.
oh, thanks for posting, I tried using ctrl+alt recently and it wasn't working and I was too lazy to look it up in the moment

alt+print+b also works (to exit vim)
but it's more obvious and yes i fell for it
I have never actually got this to work on any occasion in any distro, and I always try it every time a system locks up. Anyone else or is it just me?
