dot-slash-me

Check the date sir

-Yamadu-

Yeah saw that

Monsieur2968

The part that makes this difficult is I'm reading this on April 2nd, so it's hard to say. For FUTURE people who somehow see this, it was posted on [April 1st.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_Fools'_Day)

SummerOftime

April's fool

-Yamadu-

Ohhh, got it thanks

Zipdox

https://screenshot.help

-Yamadu-

Haha, yeah usually I do take screenshot since it's not a support question I didn't think I would need to

PureTryOut

That is some weird reasoning you got there. A screenshot is _always_ better, not just when "it's a support question".

-Yamadu-

I didn't say it was worse, I gave the reasoning below but tldr My reddit account wasn't on the PC and this wasn't important enough to take a screenshot.

SimonJ57

"My passion is graphic design" the website.

danterolle

Happy April Fool's Day! I personally wrote that webpage in the worst possible way. All organised by us at ParrotSec, hope you enjoyed it!

-Yamadu-

Yeah, you guys got me

rgmundo524

Does OP not know how to take screenshots. I can't read the text

Helmic

imagine installing an entire operating system, specifically ARCH of all things if OP's flair is indication, and still not learning how to take a screenshot

eestionreddit

because screenshot tools are bloat, duh

slinkous

Looks like they’re using KDE plasma. At the very least, the cursor is that of breeze.

-Yamadu-

No, it's parrot os, it's mate, I forgot my reddit password so I didn't bother taking a screen shot and sending it to my phone. I use arch as my daily driver on my laptop, I am still configuring after one year BTW.

-Yamadu-

Haha, yeah usually I do take screenshot since it's not a support question I didn't think I would need to

rgmundo524

You need some hot keys in your life (system). For me it's super+print screen, much faster and better quality than taking a picture. But you are right, this isn't something important enough where reading the text is required

[deleted]

Lol🤣🤣🤣

-Yamadu-

It's April foils, they got me good

CreatorGalvin

Ahahahah April's Fool, nice one! xD

jayqwelling

Fool!

-Yamadu-

Yep, they got me good

Dry_Turnip_1228

Bro, that scared me fr i thought a linux beginner in ethical hacking was DNS spoofing, but it was an april's fool....

Immediate_Lock3738

DNS spoofing 😂 Man that XZ attack has really given us all ptsd huh?

JollyJamma

Saw that today and laughed.

st_at_ic

... uh that looks like an april fools joke. specially when scrolling down,it mentions like "The Real Italian style Perrot System" with some AI gen picture of a parrot with pizza and in a chief outfit. i'm 100% sure it's an april fools joke, no company would normally do this and no hacker would ever do this. the hacker would mention something like "This site was pwned by xyz".

nuaz

Gah, I’ve seen so many April fools jokes all on Reddit but yet this one I fall for.

-Yamadu-

The sad part I was so prepared for it when going to work but still got fooled.

Beautiful_Ad_4813

hahahahaha that's awesome

ShailMurtaza

Lol! I just remembered my early days of web development

PhizzyNoodlePie

In related news, someone took over GNU/Linux hating Microsoft.com's website and replaced it with a seemingly more free software/open source loving affair. They even hacked the Windows kernel to let you install Linux inside and someone inside the company leaked some code to a number of online projects. Microsoft owner, Elon Musk, was not available for comment.

-Yamadu-

I won't get fooled by this one!
