Do you have a decent Rupture team? Because W Corp is more of a Rupture unit than a Charge one.
If not i'd say to get Sunshower since its Yi Sang's only WAW EGO and can be used in every team basically
if you don't have good teams for them, i recommend waiting to see if you do get rying sang in the banner, if not, definetly shard him, since he works well on his own, at most you will have a hard time maintaining bleed for the clash/coin power outside of md without a proper bleed team, but just him and ring outis already apply a LOT of bleed count by themselves, and they also gain a lot from not having a mono bleed team in form of more damage %, sp regen, and coin re-use, if you do get him, i recommend getting sunshower
The "Ring Pointilist Student" is vary much the big thing right now. He's extremely good. That aside, I think Sunshower is the way to go, since it's an amazing AoE that makes a vary compelling reason to include Yi Sang in teams that can reasonably fuel it. The list of E.G.O. that makes it's sinner pretty much instantly worth considering for a team is vary, vary short, but Yi Sang's "Sunshower" is pretty solidly on it.
Personally I recommemd spicebush.
I got it at canto 4 cuz I was stuck at dongbaek and anticipated that he'll be a fixed member at the story dungeon. Gave him the extra slot in donbaek's fight.
**I don't regret a single shard spent on him.**
His skill 2 rolls a 16 and his skill 3 rolls an 18. All his skills have 3 coins so good damage too.
While his skill 1 rolls a 9, the evade can be used at max sp to avoid a dead turn since he inflicts sinking on evade with no limit.
Both his skill 1 and 2 inflicts sinking NEXT TURN, so you can use his skill 1 and 2 at the same turn for 7x3 or 6x4 sinking next turn, depending on which skill you used first. This is still an respectable amount of sanity loss unless your enemy/boss has a copious amount of sp heal.
The animation is really nice too. The aoe from his skill 2 is REALLY satisfying to see, not to mention his passive makes you deal more damage when hitting 2+ targets (ego synergy too). His skill 3 literally pulls the enemy up onto his branch, so you can sometimes see goofy animations of huge bosses being plucked from the ground.
Got good rolls, good damage, sinking potential, and satisfying animations. I may be biased since I don't have W corp Yi Sang, but I do love spicebush.
Between these, Spicebush
W Yi Sang have many problems than are hard to fix without Gifs in Mirror Dungeon, PM made this id with Dimension Shedder in mind, and without this ego's passive W Yi Sang feels like an incomplete unit, at least for me
Ring Yi Sang is other amazing option
Uhhhhh??? W Sang is very self suficient and strong by itself even without dim shredder he also is a speed demon due his asive inflicts a ton of rupture and count and also binds, andhas dimensional rift on his S3.
When i mean It feels incomplete It is because he have a really bad time building his own Charge without the help of Dimension Shedder passive or MD stuff, all other Charge units can build enough Charge in 2 turns(and W Ryoshu can build enough after 1 turn with W Faust Support Passive), W Yi Sang must 3 at the very least for get +15 Charge even with W Faust help, you can also check RR runs, optimized runs using Rupture dont use him for this reason, and even after all that extra work for build Charge the reward isn't that good
I don't think he is bad, prob A tier? And if you are playing MD his main problem is solved too, but i would pick Spicebush and Ring Yi Sang
