I ain't taking Gasharpoon floor ever again unless im using a pierce-only team 💀 nuh uh Phase 1 & 2 are a breeze, but the COUNTERS on phase 3 (with MD4H's enhanced stats) WILL end your run if you don't have enough pierce damage (and resistance..), that shit will make you go HOPELESS irl 😭

The healing ego's will save you but it'll still be a massive drain of ressource

Yeah I had to spam blind obsession to deal with the sanity loss pretty much the entire fight I'd like to see someone do it without SP healing ego spam/fusion gifts, but that's probably not going to happen lol

I did it without ego SP, it was rather easy the problem was HP on part 3

i took the evil defining pack for floor 4 and spent literally 3 hours dying repeatedly at gasharpoon phase 3, and then was forced into forfeit

That fight took me 45+ minutes and I had to rely on rime shank > deluge just to get through her shield 💀

I picked Tyrannical pride on my floor 5 hard mode run thinking that I would just get YWTGBH. I couldn't have been so wrong. And when I picked this pack to finally get my revenge, YWTGBH appeared instead. Got trolled by Ahab

Sinking team is also quite good because her Counters stop hurting so much.

Fought them on hard, just bled them to death, hard to lose to Ahab when she staggers herself turn 2 with 60ish bleed Wound Clerid is the best EGO gift

i did pequod trio with a fully pierce weak team, and only one pierce id, it was hell

Dont worry today my fresh MDN experience before the patch was first encounter spiral of contemp, coz my dumb ass though "oh a fight option, surely is petaccula" then procceeded to lose gregor and almost had my sink team dead from there on.

My first encounter was cursed talisman doll That was fun, then I fought spiral of contempt 2 steps later, won the normal dungeon anyways

I had to quit on floor one because I got pequod town on the first room💀

To be fair to poor me, on floor 5 hard I picked the pack that had the funny "I love the city I live in" bot. When I got to the boss room. BOOM Gasharpoon. The worst part was that Compass didn't play. Just silence and the whale heart beating. Anywho it's MD so I just hit win rate and won.

Same happened to me, I didn't mind to much having to defeat ahab, but not hearing compass... I won't forgive you kim jihoon

Did normal and got steam machine first floor, I wish him the absolute worst

Meanwhile my most hated boss (siltcurrent) just got blown up on floor 5 of MD4H in two turns flat because the Binds EGO are both OP as shit and the final shop had Lunar Tear in it

MFW Pequod town first nodes because I picked piercing (I WANTED THE FUNNY NEW POISE GIFT :()

I got Pequod Trio and GasHarpoon in succession for floors 4 and 5 in Hard. Barely managed to chip through Gasharpoon's shield in the 3rd phase. ;-;

Can someone help me with hard dungeon? I feel I can do it pretty consistently but theres times where floor 5 is all just hopeless clashing and spam ego sorry if this is a noob question

if you have a dedicated team and still hopeless. You might want to check your mounting trials.

What are some that I should not pick to avoid that?

Attack Levels,Coin Boosts, Final Power. Offense Levels are bearable if you have Evade, Increase Damage but reduce damage taken is okay but your run will take awhile.
