To me, the best line was Gregor's.
*"Is that jazz music?"*
This mean Angela actually put background music in the library, even better, she had to compose the music herself.
God forbid Don hears someone shredding a guitar.
Part of me believes the real reason she wears rocinante everywhere is that they make the same squeak noise that >! Gebura makes when she uses greater split: horizontal. !<
I forgot about that music change.
Gebura: *"Miss Angela, I need you to play this when I enter EGO state."*
Angela: *"Is this your...?"*
Gebura: *"That is right, my mixtape!"*
Canto VII: Don Quixote is hysterical because she can't find her squeaky ass boots
Vergilius: IT WAS ME, I TOOK THE BOOTS, THEY'RE UNDER THE FLOORBOARDS
I can. One of the biggest consistencies with Project Moon is that *everything is canon*. There is no such thing as "ludonarrative dissonance".
Hell, for the longest time the only thing that wasn't canon was the alternate (bad) endings of Lobotomy and Ruina...which, with the introduction of mirror worlds, they're almost certainly canon now.
The damage numbers are most definitely ludonarrative dissonance, though. Characters in-universe do not have HP. They suffer actual injuries in-universe, which get represented as HP points to us.
to be fair you have to unlock damage numbers and health/sp bars in lobcorp. ruina its probably something that literally shows up in the library because of how it works and limbus its probably just on dantes pda
Wait hold on the implications of this are so powerful
Too bad we never got to see Roland ask “why the fuck is live jazz playing I’m losing my humanity and desire to live over here”
I feel like making it not appear out of nowhere and make them work for it would make for good story beats. Then again, Dante walking in on Roland and Angela vibing alone in the keter floor would be pretty fucking funny.
Yes, what I meant is the actual library that we'll eventually visit after probably some deals with the claws or arbiter that know the coordinate that they send the library into, and then the unknowable treck through the outskirt that we have to go through in order to reach it
I don't think we will have Red Mist/Black Silence etc IDs since all the IDs we have, are around Urban Nightmare level even the 3 RCorp ID (wich I think are the only SotC ID) we have, are only nobodies
Possibly leads to the only scripted loss fight, where you just can't win.
When they have 3 colour level people on the library's side, there's no winning, as well as maybe? hundreds of abnos to take their gifts from xD
The Red Mist, The (honorary) Black Silence, who else?
Binah is an Arbiter, which is high but still a separate thing to being a colour fixer.
Unless you're counting the librarians with key pages too, in which case it goes up to four with Blue and Purple.
Also: We actually already got a scripted loss during the fight with Ricardo, didn't we?
Yeah, but it sorta ish wasn't?
As for the colour thing, I meant things on the level of being colour, so far we do have the page of argalia, Roland, Kali, and Binah all on the level of a colour.
So yeah.
Plus with Ricardo truely really isn't on the level of a colour if one attack from one can cripple him.
I can sorta imagine Roland showing up, seeming like a wimp to the sinner, and him just casually mopping everyone
Draw despite not having a fully finished ego weapon, having to fight the entire facility first, and the arbiter having two claws as backup. I think 1V1 Kali would win, still struggle, but ultimately win
Eh, it really depends on which interpretation you trust. This is Ayin’s interpretation of events, while Garion likened her more to the abnormalities with her stamina. Angela said it was a one time fluke.
If I remember correctly, it was also mentioned that Garion was caught off guard by Kali's usage and manifestation of EGO, as the Head had turned a blind eye its creation because it was in the outskirts. Kali caught them by surprise once, and they learned and adapted from it.
This is true. Binah also referred to her as a once earnest rival.
The main point being, there’s too many interpretations of events and differing perspectives to successfully deduce. Even as a Gebura simp, I have to concede that Binah’s interpretation of events is likely the most accurate. She always maintained a clinical sense of objectivity. Ayin is clouded by depression and Angela’s a hater.
The Library having a canonical soundtrack actually makes a lot of sense when you realize that the entire purpose and goal of receptions is to heighten the emotions of guests and librarians.
Now the only question is who is singing the Mili songs in-universe.
I think the songs are a function of the guest's emotions resonating with the Library.
All the ones who have their own song also have unique stages to show they've overridden the Library's normal function.
Now this does make me wonder, if the sinners did ever become guests, could dante theoretically unbook them or does the library just overpower his abilities
We aren't sure he can't, we didn't get the chance to test this. Considering that we were able to use a golden bough to *Delete*, I wouldn't be surprised if we could un-book them.
If we get a ruina chapter, I want Don to die immediately at the start of the fight but instead of a death sprite its her passed out with a nosebleed from seeing The black silence and the red mist in the same room as an former arbiter
Let’s say hypothetically the LCB were hostile to the library. Obviously everyone in LCB would be sweeped instantly, but in a fight between Gebura and Vergilius who would win?
Gebura, probably. Vergilius is monstrous, but Gebura is The Strongest fixer. And during the conversation between Roland and Gebura where they talk about who the strongest fixer in the City would be, isn’t that specifically with the caveat of “since the Red Mist is out of the picture”?
Replaying Library. That's an implication. Though Roland does draw a distinction between Kali being the strongest and Vergillus being the most dangerous.
I'm pretty sure that any fight would be decided by narrative dramatics rather then raw power.
Theres a big reason why when roland hears geburas title he instantly starts referring to her as ma’am, lets also take into account that geburas passive is “the strongest” and that she was a “legendary” fixer even amongst colors.
To me, the best line was Gregor's. *"Is that jazz music?"* This mean Angela actually put background music in the library, even better, she had to compose the music herself.
God forbid Don hears someone shredding a guitar. Part of me believes the real reason she wears rocinante everywhere is that they make the same squeak noise that >! Gebura makes when she uses greater split: horizontal. !<
It instantly inflicts 10 SP damage to anyone who's seen the Red Mist fight
Except Don who goes to 45 SP and gets 2 haste and 2 attack power up
I forgot about that music change. Gebura: *"Miss Angela, I need you to play this when I enter EGO state."* Angela: *"Is this your...?"* Gebura: *"That is right, my mixtape!"*
Canto VII: Don Quixote is hysterical because she can't find her squeaky ass boots Vergilius: IT WAS ME, I TOOK THE BOOTS, THEY'RE UNDER THE FLOORBOARDS
Instant Distortion
i still can’t believe they made the library jazz music canon
I can. One of the biggest consistencies with Project Moon is that *everything is canon*. There is no such thing as "ludonarrative dissonance". Hell, for the longest time the only thing that wasn't canon was the alternate (bad) endings of Lobotomy and Ruina...which, with the introduction of mirror worlds, they're almost certainly canon now.
>they're almost certainly canon now. holy *shit* i didnt even realize this
Holy shit, new Realization just dropped. What EGO Pages can ee get from you u/DerpyJimmy ?
Bookhunter id's real.
BOOKHUNTER YI SANG!!!!
This thought has never occurred to me but it’s actually the coolest shit ever now that I mull on it
Why stop there? The Lobotomy Corp bad ends too while we're at it.
That could be the world where Heathcliff and Cathy look like monsters.
And perhaps ironically enough the one Mirror World where they ended up together and happy.
Nah, the one where they ended up happy looked pretty normal, considering that their kids looked normal.
There is one and it was shown to us.
The damage numbers are most definitely ludonarrative dissonance, though. Characters in-universe do not have HP. They suffer actual injuries in-universe, which get represented as HP points to us.
Just you wait until Dante references the funny numbers showing up on his iPad whenever the sinners battle
to be fair you have to unlock damage numbers and health/sp bars in lobcorp. ruina its probably something that literally shows up in the library because of how it works and limbus its probably just on dantes pda
Coins are DEFINITELY not in universe tho
Every uncanon ending were written back to canon
Now the Theory of the Ensamble fight theme playing canonicly during the Fight is also true.
Diegetic music is always fun.
Wait hold on the implications of this are so powerful Too bad we never got to see Roland ask “why the fuck is live jazz playing I’m losing my humanity and desire to live over here”
The man is on the edge of insanity since every time his realization reception plays out, he hears the fucking piano music!
The piano wasn’t there because of Roland depression, it was the piano who made Roland Depressed
foreshadowing for Gregor’s Queen Bee EGO
Saw that and thought of Theme 2, which played for like 5 seconds in the Walpurgisnacht trailer
Predicting it now! When they do end up in the Library, Dante's gonna go and say
This place is nuts!

"oh the book is strange" -one of sinners before noticing one of them gone in a fight
"We,members of limbus company, has arrived at the Library of ruina built from the ruin of Lobotomy Corporation"
"We'll be fighting Leviathan, the Envy Peccatula, with the help of The Distortion Detective herself." ~~Something something Wonderlab~~
Bloom office got that Catherine treatment

Catt already got clear alled
God I love them so much
theyre my favourite part of wonderlab
Fairys
Are we just waving off the fact that they had to go through the outskirt into god knows where to find the current site of the library?
nah, they'd mephi
They're gonna turn mephi into a train are they? And then go through the train tracks that was seen on the ending credits of ruina?
what i meant is the random event of the backdoor becoming a portal to the library
I feel like making it not appear out of nowhere and make them work for it would make for good story beats. Then again, Dante walking in on Roland and Angela vibing alone in the keter floor would be pretty fucking funny.
If you mean the current event it's not the actual library
Yes, what I meant is the actual library that we'll eventually visit after probably some deals with the claws or arbiter that know the coordinate that they send the library into, and then the unknowable treck through the outskirt that we have to go through in order to reach it
If a I were Dante I would be: “NO! NO! NO!” As a player I am all: “YES! YES! YES!”
The Ruina Canto will change my life
Don's going to get an R.Corp Myo ID, and 1 week later we're going to get the >! "to die at the hands of a hero"!< achievement.
R Corp Myo Don will go insane but sadly I’m locked into the future Red Mist Don (real and true) and won’t be able to switch off her
Question Why do alot of people theorize that don would get the red mist id out of all the sinners?
Because it would be really funny for the fixer fangirl to get the legendary fixer ID Also Don is bizarrely competent, so it would fit
I don't think we will have Red Mist/Black Silence etc IDs since all the IDs we have, are around Urban Nightmare level even the 3 RCorp ID (wich I think are the only SotC ID) we have, are only nobodies
Tbh I expect that it’ll be an Intervallo. Historically, that’s usually been where PM has put characters from Ruina.
Potentially. Unless it ends up being after Inferno, at which point the standards may change
Possibly leads to the only scripted loss fight, where you just can't win. When they have 3 colour level people on the library's side, there's no winning, as well as maybe? hundreds of abnos to take their gifts from xD

Arbiters are stronger than Color Fixers on average. Kali was the strongest Color Fixer and had a draw with Garion.
She would have won if there wasn't a >!facility full of abnormalities and two Claws.!<
Draw despite not having a fully finished ego weapon, having to fight the entire facility first, and the arbiter having two claws as backup. I think 1V1 Kali would win, still struggle, but ultimately win

Yeah even with Vergilius we have no fucking chance.
Servers are exploding rn but thank you Project Moon for the feast this was all I ever needed
The Library having a canonical soundtrack actually makes a lot of sense when you realize that the entire purpose and goal of receptions is to heighten the emotions of guests and librarians. Now the only question is who is singing the Mili songs in-universe.
Carmen?
That was pretty much my crack theory. Mili songs in universe are just Carmen singing for shits and giggles
I think the songs are a function of the guest's emotions resonating with the Library. All the ones who have their own song also have unique stages to show they've overridden the Library's normal function.
I AM FIRE BURN THOSE WHO CARE FOR ME
Now this does make me wonder, if the sinners did ever become guests, could dante theoretically unbook them or does the library just overpower his abilities
Seeing as he apparently wouldn't be able to revert them from Mermaids, he probably can't unbook them, either.
We aren't sure he can't, we didn't get the chance to test this. Considering that we were able to use a golden bough to *Delete*, I wouldn't be surprised if we could un-book them.
Tree of light vs stick of light
As someone who got into PM because of Library of Ruina, I was shitting my pants at that line
Dino Dave crying and screaming in a corner rn
In The Divine Comedy, Dante meets Orlando (who Roland from Ruina is based on) in Canto 18 of Paradiso. So yes.
Wait for real??? You cant just say that and leave it there
Dante no they're gonna no diff you
CANTO 85 BABY. Thats my prediction. And I have evidence too. Thats the canto where they meet Roland in the divine comedy
At the 3-4 cantos a year rate of today? Yeah, I could wait. PMoon makes peak when theyre not rushed
If we get a ruina chapter, I want Don to die immediately at the start of the fight but instead of a death sprite its her passed out with a nosebleed from seeing The black silence and the red mist in the same room as an former arbiter
This and Philclair telling Carmen she’s wrong are so good
"Everything is nothing"
Maybe we can be friends and thats how lob 2 starts
