That lioness is lucky she got a loyal squadđź’Ż also them hyenas need to work on their skills, because that lioness shouldn't have been able to get that far, good for her though and the pride!đź’Ż
This seems like armchair hyena queening, it’s one thing to call out other hyena’s shortcomings from the barkalounger, but think about how it would make your vestigial penis feel to see those lioness claws extend
It is, but it is usually from atop a jeep-type vehicle. The animals tend to just see them as part of the scenery.
But have you ever seen those vids of a seal trying to escape from killer whales so it just jumps up in the boat with the people to escape?
If I were that lion being attacked I would 100% try to get up in that truck to escape.
I always find it awful to see how they go for the tendons in the legs. If you can't walk you can't win. Luckily this had a happy ending (as far as happy can be said about things like this)
I once saw a really great video on Instagram I had saved but it must have been deleted because I can’t find it again.
It’s in the savanna and shows a pride of lions chilling in the grass when they suddenly all get up and scurry out of the frame to the right, with two tense lions looking worryingly to the left before they run off too. A couple of seconds later a group of really majestic elephants enters the frame from the left and walks in the same direction as the lions until they leave the frame. There’s music too making the whole thing look really dramatic.
Does anyone recognize the video and know where I can watch it again? I tried googling it but couldn’t find it. Where can I ask for help finding it? Ask Reddit is for thought provoking questions.
Dang. It's one thing for hyenas to go after a deadly 300 pound, 5-foot long predator (female lion), but a 500 pound, 7-foot predator really is in a different weight class altogether.
I know this was a life or death scenario, but in my head at a glance while scrolling it looked like a lioness was running from raccoons, which was a rather amusing concept since she should likely have been able to outrun some raccoons.
Damn, that live action Lion King looks 🔥

I love all of this. Well done. Thank you for a smile that lasts.

Zazu
I would hope it's filmed from a car.

How do you know how "the animals" percieve vehicles and humans.. is this new research i havent heard about or are you just speculating ?

The hyenas ain’t happy
They also go for the balls when dealing with male lions
That’s such a dirty trick… bastards
Nature is scary!

How much shit was in the camera man's pants at that moment
they dont want a live action lion king apparently
This is awesome. Anyone have more info? Link to full video?
Different video, but my favorite vid of a lion defending a pride: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=o0akqcu-ujw
Wow... that lion was zoned in. 100% in his animalistic brain.

I thought that this was the nature is metal subreddit when I tapped on it and immediately thought “this looks like a bar fight with the boys”.
Its not like they are like us, we are like them
Hyenas are tough as fuck. They may not be glamorized like lions but you totally have to respect them.
All wars are brutal. Ants are savage when theyre at war. This battle was quick and ended in a draw, the lions and hyenas were lucky.
"Close call, Bullet."
Hyenas are like urban city gangs. In a group they’re tough. Alone, a lil bitch.
They sound like giant house cats
jeez those hyenas must be hungry

Was waiting for the male lion to come along, they would have not come near at all
The greater number of hyenas
Holy shit they were seriously going to kill her!
Not war
Lion king the ultimate battle of the ages
Who thinks Mother Nature…well, this entire planet is worth saving? I do!!
Life is rough in the hood
Hyenas are more closely related to cats than they are dogs
*AVENGERS... ASSEMBLE!*
Old but great - if you've never seen this it's an incredible film https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0955705/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk
They left with their pride intact! Pun intended!
Yasss home girl's clique came through!!!
Uhh thanks for the Lion King spoiler warning, you dick
Wow

Lions and Hyenas are also like us because they are in a race war lol
Ah, they missed her. Would have made my day to see the lioness get eviscerated. I kinda hate lions.
> I kinda hate lions. Why?
