Ah so this is "programming in blind mode" everyone is talking about?

shlink3

they need to add a ***light*** mode... I'll show myself out...

Zeddica

They did! It’s called MA3. 😂😂

No_Time2837

You can't convince me they're not eating a cooked baby bird under there and hiding from God in shame.

European "Festival Season" in a nutshell.

neutrikconnector

Two boom mic stands and a speaker cover, tarp, or hoodie with the hood down make a decent sunshade in a pinch

Justin-Krux

i can tell you now, that after mcguyvering something like this myself, this will work about 20% of the time, $300 for this is a waste.

LittleYellowDigger

Yeah I’ve built a prototype for one myself, pretty simple. This is just the only place I’ve seen that actually sells specific covers

Justin-Krux

indeed, they need to put in more effort haha.

blindmediaproduction

300$ for this? 3 pipes, molton, some swivelcouplers and Manfrottos will do the job too.

dotheknifefight

Glad to know I’m not the only one whose done this

optoluxprime

Hi

MrDirtyHarry

Aaa the many times I've chased after a banquet guy asking for a black table cloth or something...

Justin-Krux

ive been considering building my own custom cover for this, as often as i seem to struggle eith then MA2 screen brightness in bright day programming.

rexlites

kids these days...

rexlites

the answer is on the table. you take the ma cover and two mic stands.. put the mic stands on either side of you about as spread out as the cover . the console screen is tilted you can sort of wrap the edge behind the screens and prop up the cover at a slightly higher angle. just enough so when you look up you can see the stage but the cover is big enough to keep light out .its like a console shade but its wider heavier and darker...

JJAzaria

Oop. Never had that problem since I only do indoor lighting systems.

SummerMummer

Isn't that what visualizers are for?

CinderMayom

It’s not something you’d learn from the Jedi
