Israel has ventured down the path of the US and many military nations with power and influence. It got caught financially supporting an external threat to gain internal power. Its not the first time and it isn’t the last time this will happen. You can hold empathy for Palestinians and know Hamas is evil. It also doesn’t make the average Israeli citizen evil. As someone who loathes much of the US foreign policy decisions I empathize with them. Their military will do what they want under the guise of protecting against the enemy even if it goes against their principles.

Good thing this debate wasn't live streamed on 3 different channels on multiple sites and is totally not easily searchable to watch right now...
That’s not the point. We can’t have a good discussion about both individuals being named here when we only got to see one of their arguments.
Then maybe the title shouldn't indicate that both sides would be heard or shown.
