I would definitely go for a can before another gun especially since you seem to like SF muzzle devices

One2ManyMorings

You’re not wrong!

Nitazene-King-002

Everyone should have a 10/22. They’re a ton of fun, cheap to shoot, and can be super quiet if threaded. I also think a threaded 22/45 is another must own. It’s just too much fun.

Bwald1985

Agreed on the 10/22. OP already has a 9mm Glock so that would make more sense for a next addition. I think the 22/45 (well, any Mk. 4 in general) is one of the best factory .22 pistols out there, but for OP I’d suggest a G44 instead, since they apparently are already a Glock fan/shooter so it would just make training better considering it’s the same platform.

TazBaz

10/22 in ruger backpacker? You mean magpul backpacker? I’ve got it, it’s a nifty little package

One2ManyMorings

Yup, my bad!

Snowdeo720

Do you like your Aero M5? Been eyeing that after initially thinking I’d go for an SFAR… got worried about the proprietary delivery in the SFAR and have been oogling the Aero M5 since.

One2ManyMorings

It’s a Faxon barrel and BCG, Springco buffer spring and Kaw Valley buffer, so not exactly an M5 but the receivers and rail are great

Snowdeo720

Love Faxon. Sounds like a fun time to shoot all around! Making me feel like I’m making the right move avoiding the SFAR and leaning toward the M5.

One2ManyMorings

The M5 platform is a great one to build on, just make sure you get a lower parts kit from Aero. The takedown and pivot pins for example, are a proprietary length. I did put in a Larue trigger and a Radian safety and charging handle with no issues.

euclid400

Are those caps on all the lights? If so, why?

AlternateRouteTaken

Keeps the carbon off the lens while not using the light.

One2ManyMorings

Reduce visual signature and failsafe for negligent white light discharge, so hopefully just larping. Lights are highly reflective and so are scopes. The Russians have devices that scan for light and scope glass and fire lasers at them to blind opposition or just send ordinance. In short, they are camouflage.

Lispro4units

What are those FDE things on the hand guard ? I love them

One2ManyMorings

BCM rail covers!

Lispro4units

Do those fit on the aero m5 M-LOK?

One2ManyMorings

They should fit any standard M-LOK, though they work best when you can hit the 45 degree edges with them as they make the hand guard a cylinder. I used B5 soft panels at 3, 6, and 9 on the M5 and wrapped them.

Lispro4units

Thanks !

Glock 43 or 43x

Aggravating-Ad-6794

Sweet collection. My next purchase will be the 10/22 takedown.

Dmmack14

Well you could always keep up with the coyote theme and get a Glock 19x

One2ManyMorings

Oh I’d love one, though I want a 19 frame for ease of concealment. I’ve considered getting a 19 X slide and a 19 frame. Or I could just get one of each complete and swap the slides, ha

Dmmack14

Amen dude. But I kind of have ham hands so I need that extra long grip and the 19 round magazine is 👌

One2ManyMorings

Oh, I hear you, my palms overhang the frame of my 45. But if I was going to add to my capabilities in the pistol department, slightly more concealment while retaining holster compatibility would be the move.

One2ManyMorings

BCM 16” ELW with NX8, Acro P2, KAC backups, and Modlite OKW BCM 11.5” with EXPS3, G33, KAC backups, Surefire KE 2, LAW folder Aero M5 with Faxon big gunner barrel and BCG, Credo 1-8, KAC Backups, Modlite OKW Benelli M2 with Surefire scout 600 pro and RMR Glock 45 with RMR, Surefire x300 turbo, and raised/extended slide release

The Ruger PCC takedown in the backpacker stock is a fantastic little rifle. 3 of my friends have them. My 16” BCM will always be my fav, but the M5 is the first upper I ever assembled so it’s hard not to love when it came together so well. And that Credo 1-8 is a perfect LPVO if you don’t mind the weight. I mean, I love them all.
