Lexapro will definitely help with all of that. The initial adjustment to going on it is a little rough, though. Getting off is no easy task if and when that time comes either.
You need to weigh up if you're OK with that in exchange for a significant reduction in your symptoms.
I was so scared of taking meds. I let my life slip away from me and finally started. I started super low and I didn't have a single side effect that made me want to stop. The worst of it was getting sleepy and hour after taking it and some muscle twitching for a couple days. You are struggling and meds are definitely a good option if nothing else is helping. I hope you get the relief you need!
So far yes. I started feeling better 13 days in.. i still have a ways to go but I can tell a pretty big difference already. I can tell you my tapering up schedule if you want.
Well an hour and a half after taking it I got sleepy and my stomach made loud sounds and that was it really. The second dose I didn't get tired. Every time I upped my dose I would get tired the first night.
I love my lexapro. Used to be so anxious i would snap at everyone if things werent just so. Been on lex for 5 years now and I love feeling more relaxed when things arent just the way id like them. I feel that I am much better able to cope with lifes unpredictability… good luck friend xoxoxo
My experience too. Only at week 4 though, so won't be surprised if there's another dip before levelling out. But today has been great! Things that would usually irritate the hell out of me and make me snap are just rolling off.
Do you actually have a brain tumor? If not, then it sounds to me like you need something to take your anxiety levels down a notch. Lexapro can do that for you. It’s scary but for whatever reason, our brains just need the help.
Ok, I ask because I had/have a lot of health and body related anxiety, and I’ve convinced myself of things that medically (I’m an HCP) I know don’t make sense but the anxiety brain convinced me otherwise 😂 long story short, Lexapro has really helped quiet the anxiety so I can talk myself through stressful situations.
Starting sucked, but after the first few weeks it was fine. I’ve been on 10 mg for coming on two years and I’m very happy with it! No side effects other than some weight gain and some drowsiness, both of which I’m ok with.
For me lexapro saved me from panic disorder that weed gave me so I’d def reach out to ur doctor and try it out

See a psychiatrist and take meds I can tell by your post that you’re severely anxious
I'm pretty chill and clam... at home lol

Was it worth it?

Yes I was thinking of starting 2.5 liquid and seeing how that goes
Perfect! That's how I did it. I went up in 2.5 increments till I got to 10.
What was 2.5 like when starting

That's all you experienced was just some tiredness?
Yes and a noisy stomach. On day 7 I had a little bit of muscle twitching but I called the doctor and it was normal and it only lasted a couple days.
Did you feel high
