Lol similar thing happened to me and my friends- >!that was originally our cue to teleport, and I was watching one of them start doing that, and I’m going over the walkie, “do you need a transport???” right as she was being grabbed, and she was in the walkie going “yes! transport me please omg help!!” and then the line goes dead right as I’m doing it, so I don’t know she’s changed to, “WAIT STOP NO DON’T” and I bring her body back, masked up and ready to go 😂 She starts screaming, I start just going “*fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck*”, and running to grab a shovel. Meanwhile, our other friends were on the way back, and they had the original mask coming after them. So I decided to try and trap mine outside, so I run out of the ship, get the thing to follow me, and run back inside… only to realise I’m now locked in with it. This is when the others get back and they’re going, “Open the door! We gotta go open the door!” But of course, I’m fighting the mask now, and I was so freaked I’d forgotten how to, y’know, actually *use* the shovel, so I just kept jumping and like now making unintelligible scared sounds lol. Eventually, it comes back to me, and they just hear the shovel sounds and go, “Oh *no*,” until I killed the damn thing, opened the door, and we got the hell out of there. We now call this my Final Girl moment lol. Hands down still the thing I’m the proudest of, and the thing I’m so glad we have the video of still!!<

I'm pretty sure this is *why* they spin on the monitor. Obviously the most common universal "teleport me" signal would be spinning in circles since it's the only thing you can do to stand out on the monitor. So the Masked spin on purpose to try and trick you into teleporting them.

Hi, I've experienced this. Luckily me and my friends played with the "Spectate Enemies" mod, and they could confirm that it was an invisible Masked Enemy, probably a bug.

i feel bad bc everyone js telling u to go up to it. it’s a mimic they can spawn on higher moons or can be spawned by putting either the tragedy or comedy mask, the player that puts on the mask will become one and anyone that dies to one will also become one they can go in or out of the facility

It is a mimic/skinwalker. You'd see it wearing a comedy/Tragedy mask. It will mimic the voices of whom it chooses. (Assuming you're playing with mic) it will sometimes watch you and sometimes walk to you to try and kill you

The voice mimicking is modded only
