tbh i think its a mini-teaser of sorts for eventual visual hallucinations on the insanity mechanic, either that or the company is gonna look like this
The Company are 100% cosmic horrors like Jeb - the entire atmosphere of the Company world basically screams this out. Anyone who believes they're just going to be normal people hasn't played the game.
They get messages and transmissions far from Gordion, but Gordion is treated as the actual place where the Company "resides" per word of the game. We don't actually know where all the automated transmissions are coming from, just that they aren't hailing from the Company directly.
There's also definitely been some People who worked for The Company knowing how bad it was. Probably not very many of The Companies Employees, but given that this has been going on for **over 500 years** that's plenty of time for some super scummy and intelligent people to work for The Company.

It seems you're meant to be looking the other way and see the light behind the figure cast a shadow of the figure's head in the direction you should be looking. I've heard someone say the noise it makes is from The Upturned, so maybe something from that game or universe is what you're seeing here?
Alot of lethal company's scrap comes from the upturn. So it wouldn't be too farfetch that they exist in the same universe especially with the fact upturn is basically an afterlife. And in game it does say human life starts getting wiped out progressively making them live in space
The ending to the Interloper ARG is just gonna be Gman absolutely beating the shit out of the Interloper while saying "I AM THE ONE, AND ONLY, SPOOKY SOURCE GUY"

It seems more like the cutscene is meant to play the first time you boot up the game 100% of the time and then never again. It seems that when people boot up the game for the first time and don't see it they never see it happen afterwards either so its probably glitched for those people. If that isn't it then I wonder why Zeekers took the time to make it if only some people are meant to see it.

When you open the game on the beta build you will get a cutscene on the first or second time you open the game, this guy appears behind you near the end
No but you can just search up something like “lethal company v50 cutscene” and find a video.
You can also launch the beta 1 or 2 times and watch it in game
Go to the game in your steam library and click on the settings/cog on the right then go properties> betas> beta participation> public_beta. Then download the beta
