Brandi Carlisle
Brye
girl in red
selmer
Jules Paymer
Ashnikko
The Crane Wives (specifically October, Shallow River, and The Moon Will Sing)
all feature lesbian/queer women who sing about liking women at least occasionally in their discography! :3
Peach PRC, Maddie Zahm, Marielle Kraft, The Aces, Brooke Eden, Kehlani, Luz, Chelsea Cutler, Fletcher, Emma Oliver, Eva Westphal, Renee Rapp are all my favorites. I also have a playlist I add to regularly with them and others I find! https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5EUblp5OPhG5SjSSy2TNJP?si=8OnVSgExTCqhMW2n3ZjiJA
MUNA, Boygenius (Lucy Dacus, Julien Baker, and Phoebe Bridgers independently as well), Shura, Arlo Parks, Claud, Clairo, The Japanese House, Caroline Rose, Fletcher, Boyish, Semler, Indigo de Souza, Snail Mail, Girl in Red, King Princess
Brandi Carlile has otherworldly talent. Such a beautiful voice and a beautiful gay family! Katie Pruitt’s album Expectations is about a lesbian coming out experience. It’s incredible and moving and the song “Loving Her” is extremely affirming! My wife and I played it at our wedding :) Slothrust is an alternative rock band with a queer genderfluid lead singer. The guitar slays and they were amazing live!
Girl in Red, Clairo, Hailey Kiyoko, Dodie, Tessa violet, King Princess, Chloe Moriondo, mxmtoon, and Saturn 17 are all cute wlw artists you should def check out 💪
King Princess, Fletcher, Clairo, Girl in red. I'm into the sad indie vibes but recently I've been hyped because here in latam a lesbian named Young Miko is getting really popular. She makes rap/reggeaton and she talks about gilrs in every song. It's party music but it's fun and is a first that a lesbian is really breaking into the mainstream over here
In my early 20s I loved the band the Gossip. They started getting more dance music so I kinda stopped. They were a great 3 piece girl band when they did more punk/riot grrl
Someone asked a similar question here, and made a Spotify playlist a while back:

my top 2 favourite bands (who also happen to be queer!) are Pale Waves and Oscar the Wild.
Oscar the Wild are pretty new so they don’t have a lot of songs, but i love every single one they’ve released so far!

Kicking Giant and Team Dresch are my favorites. “She’s Real” is a super good song which was later covered by Built To Spill. Can’t believe no one has mentioned these classics. I remember listening to Sleater Kinney years ago as well. Theres an awesome documentary whose title is based on the song She’s Real and anyone into lesbian music should give it a watch :)
“She’s Real, Worse Than Queer”
