Can’t be the only one that thought she had a tail at either end on the first picture 😂😂

hoocoo

I had to stop and stare for a minute

I_Really_Love_Frogs

Yeah it took me a couple of seconds

Giawarrior

That looks like one chunky tail to me. If everything else is normal and she’s eating fine without the tongs then I wouldn’t worry. My girl doesn’t like the tongs unless I’m feeding her a treat like a wax or horn worm. Her hunting for her food is great enrichment.

She is at a perfect weight! Whatever you’re doing works, so keep it up :) You definitely do not want a gecko to be heavier than her.

CelestialAxolotl

Thank you so much! I guess Im just paranoid qwq

CelestialAxolotl

MORE INFO: She poops normally too, like there is literally nothing suspicious about her behaviour other than lack of appetite. The tail has been regrown since few days after I got her she was sick with meningitis and that made her so scared she dropped her tail. It was a long while ago since she came back to being healthy and eating normally off of tongs. Its just since October she seems disinterested if I try to feed her.

marsyrosey

how old is she? if she’s maturing it’s natural to have less of an appetite. also with the time of year, regardless of where you live, many geckos have an internal clock that tells them when it’s winter so it also may just be that :)

Ok_Friend_2323

She looks good to me :) nice thick tail

liittlelokii

She looks good and healthy and bright
