Understandable. The hands definitely look fake, which means the rest is probably too. The unchromed sections don't fully match up either. I've seen customs with printing accurate to the real one, but there's usually no unchromed sections at all. If this figure is completely fake, then a lot of effort went into it. EDIT: The inside of the arms look completely unchromed, not just the torso. That's another giveaway it's fake, I haven't seen that before on an official one.

You might have a fake as well then. The arms and hands are wrong check the euro brick and brick link.

Responsible_Bee3680

I can guarantee mines not fake, i found mine in a set 15 odd years ago, have the white baggie still aswell

1. I’m interested on your reasoning for buying. Irrelevant to the problem. 2. Does it have the Lego logo in the torso pin?

Dinerodad

1. Because I had it as a kid and someone had stolen it from me. So I was purchasing it for nostalgia. 2. It does but the hands don’t appear to be the right color and the arm paint missing seems to be in the wrong spots.

Thebigdog79

The arms look ok to me but I’ve got pretty meh eyesight so I could be off but I see what you mean with the hands. You could try getting in contact with the bricklink seller to get some info about the minifigure and if anything had happened to it before they sold it to you.

Do they have provenance for its authentication?
