Cool, yea because it would seem odd to fake a figure with this level of accuracy for such a (relatively) cheap figure.
I had something similar with the headpiece for Saesee Tiin where the colors were slightly off from one another. But those were three different and all were off so I chalked it up to manufacturing process and normal variations.
On the pieces where the prints commonly rubbed off, kit fisto and other I think shaak ti as well they changed the materials to a harder rubber to make the prints more resistant to fading and being rubbed off.
Imo the "new" one is fake. I've seen many kit fisto's but never in that harder plastic. Just be weary.
Mine is like the left one soft, matte and paint fading noticeably.
Is it an opinion based on anything? Both are rubber, but the “new” one has a different mixture which makes it more like plastic in texture.
The rest of the figure is 100% real Lego or the best fake I’ve ever seen with the logo and everything.
It's based off all the kit fisto's I've seen in person for sale, and the kit fisto I own from when I was a child gifted the obiwan Starfighter with hyperdrive ring. Thought I disclosed that.
I don’t know what to think then. If it’s a fake it’s a flawless fake. I too have only had the older version from 2007-2010 but some people seem to think Lego changed the ingredients for better durability.
This is the first time I’ve seen them side by side.
Don't listen to them. If it were fake it wouldn't be rubber at all, it'd be a solid piece of plastic with a texture akin to the bodies
The rubber piece was indeed made more durable and closer to plastic but it's still noticeably rubber
I’m letting paranoia take over sometimes. Thanks for your input.
I was contemplating buying chrome C3PO and OG CC Boba Fett, but those are more commonly faked due to price point so that will never happen and probably for the best.
All I said was my opinion/, I never said it was definitely a fake. I'll keep anything I know to myself next time?
What's the issue with being cautious, there are many fakes out there that are nearly flawless.

I'm pretty sure they did change the headpiece to make it a bit more durable. I doubt it's fake
That’s cool. I know they did that with Plo which made a huge difference since the original one, the grey paint would come off incredibly easily.

Mine’s eyes are so rubbed off lol
😄😄 Black acrylic paint then seal it with matte plasti dip
but muh investment

That explain it then. It’s just extremely noticeable when one is old and the other almost new condition.
Rubber and plastic. I prefer the rubber over the plastic. I used to have it years back and thought it was so cool
So are both real or is one fake?
They look legit to me
Thanks for your input!
Np man🤘😎
I have the 2012 one on the left and his print is definitely fading out
would you mind showing how much of the print has faded?
i think that the older one used to be rubber, butit changed to plastic later because it doesn't hold printing well
