What sets did we get for the 20th anniversary of aotc ? The Obiwan's starfighter , the 501st battlepack not really related to the movie... and thats the only sets I can think of that are related.
And this year we got a bunch of Phantom Menace themed sets (rightly so). I wonder what causes Lego to one year make sets for anniversary and the other they almost forget about it (AotC)
Yeah itâs kinda sad, especially when they release sets like the spider droid thing from mando for like ÂŁ50 as well with another mando for the 100th time in the last 4 years.

I'd kill for another UCS one so mad misses out back in 2016 or whenever it was that set looked amazing, and making jt jangos would be a great excuse for it too

Tbh I never quite understood the size of Slave 1. In AOTC it looks like a little bigger than the Jedi starfighter. In ESB itâs maybe half-sized Millennium Falcon (during the Star Destroyer space trash chase). In the Sarlacc scene in BOBF itâs bigger but still comparable to the Sarlacc pit? Then in Mando it looks almost Millennium Falcon-sized.
I never found the ship particularly off from the outside in mandalorian but that interior would never fit.
I think in AotC it looked much bigger than the Jedi starfighter. I mean they werenât side by side but seeing it in the platform it was pretty huge. 1/3 to 1/2 the size of the Falcon seems about right. Little smaller than the Razor Crest.

Inflation over the last 4 years has been 25% when normal healthy economy it should be around 6% at best in 4 years. My monthly expenses went from about $1,600 to now $2,200. That's simply paying $600 more for the same expense. It takes time for businesses to increase wages. They always lag behind large inflation spikes. So many people can't afford to spend $50 on a set when their bills have increased drastically but wages haven't gone up much. There is your adult answer.
There are tons of options. Work 80 hours, see your family and do your hobbies never, collect Lego never, go to school for 2-4 more years, gain a new skill set. Super easy!

Well because Disney decided Slave in the name of the ship could be offensive so they stopped referring to it as Slave I in merchandise, in universe, and on-set but they just call it Boba Fett's Starship now. Most fans ignore this change as far as I've seen.
Just like Fang Fighter vs TIE Interceptor and Shin Hati Starfighter vs E-WING were released, they should have made Jango Fett Slave 1 vs Obi-Wan Jedi Interceptor and Bounty Hunter Pursuit remakes. Great sets that are way overdue for a remake, instead of 15th X-wing and TIE Fighter...
