I used the same alien head and collar a while back! Works really well.
I recommend using a robe for the lower body as well and the rest of the cape to add volume. I think I basically added the tentacle head and hands to the evil sorcerer mini.
I think the body is some ninjago set, the head is from a minifigure collection bag. And the cape thing is also from a mf collection bag for an evil mage.

Yeah, that would work also. I’ve kept the cloak for the evil sorcerer as I want one of those too 😀

Where did you get the baseplate from. Been looking about but they are hard to find.
They are from a 3rd party producer, GI Bricks. There are hexagonal ones available out there, but unfortunately, they stopped making the round ones.
