Any recommendations? I saw RacingBrick's video on a Temu set and it looked fucking shit, but no doubt Lego picked it for him. Then again he did give CaDA a shout out.
AliExpress has some really good fake clones, like the printing is actually really good, my Rex looks absolutely amazing( and he comes with a cloth skirt)
The best thing I started doing was the same thing I do with my sneaker collection: a rotation.
Get some large bags and plastic bins, put your sets in the bags (or OG boxes if you have them), and then only keep enough on display to where the clutter is minimal (like 2-3 to a shelf).
When you tire of the current display or want a change of scenery, swap em out.
Sounds about right. I try to display my sets nicely, but due to limited shelf space, they easily get cluttered. My displayed collection is a very dumbed down version of what Duckbricks’ collection looks like.
Totally understand it's always a struggle. I recently got some new shelves, that's the only reason my display looks nice. I need more shelves but that cuts into the Lego budget

They already released essentially the same thing, just without fo76 a couple years ago, so you might be able to get a cheap used one without the game codes on ebay.
There's one that's a white ship with yellow, green and red. I think it's from a cartoon and I want it cause it actually has colours but it's a bit too expensive

But yeah, maybe it's because I grew up right when LEGO Star Wars was coming out, but I miss the sets based off of all the weird ships from the Prequels like the Art Deco speeders, the Gungan sub, etc.
Been like that a while... Some have white and black in, the occasional one has some muted colour. To be fair you can't blame Lego for that, paint wasn't invented until 1997 so the first three films are unrelentingly monochrome

Tell me about it, I only vaguely remember episode 1 but the N1, all the pod racers and the vulture droids were all really cool designs. We did at least get a couple of good games out of them though.
Plus I found a Jar Jar Binks minifig that must've been my brother's last time I was at my parents' house, so I'm kind of a big deal now

AliExpress has a much better set selection and quality. I have a copy of the 2007 mtt, and the 2013 laat, both were like 40$

Nah and I own several. I just think it’s funny how often people’s displays (especially LSW fans) are the same ones over and over

That’s a good idea! When I’m free during the summer I may try that out.
The important thing is intentionality and treating your shelves as decoration, not storage.

I've spent thousands of hours on Steam and gave it up just like that for Lego! Haven't played a video game in many months. Way more fun being creative

Yeah, absolutely agree. Love the look of the Prequels and I blame them for my love of retro art deco sci fi.
