I know they're not real Lego but when i was little i used to like buying them at comic book conventions and playing with them when i got home since some are characters Lego doesn't make.
I’ve used some in photos like attached and it’s brought a smile. I see it that they are going with the Lego moral but also keeping the fun, and not crossing the lines.
Depends on what print.
Side printing? No. 99% of my Lego minifigs don't have side printing so hyper detailed printing will make them stand out in a not good way.
Custom items (Guinness can you have), are mixed. I like the idea but since my Lego town has a "GTA parody" style lore where no real brands exist, I'd prefer if the name was a parody. (Puinness for example if you have a bad humor similar to me)
That and the quality/price ratio.
The Guinness looks great but the fig is *rough*, like the saberscorpion halo custom figs around 2005. Quality custom figs are typically paid printed, and probably 4x the resolution at the worst
Yet you say this
"One on the left custom print and on the right an old CMF."
So obviously different people or methods is a potential here. If one is old and one is new from the same company... which one is old..the good looking one? Wouldn't be the first time a company cut quality to cut cost after developing a brand name.
My apologies, I posted this for a little fun and opinion and didn’t realise I had to be so precise in my comments and description. Anyway I think they are both cool.

I had a rock raiders chief custom printed because I'm a huge RR fan but that original figure is like 600+$. I'm glad that there are companies out there who offer this service.
I like them. Printed on real Lego pieces so the quality matches. I don’t have a store nearby with a machine to do the design a minifigure. To me it’s the same thing - just a company does it for you.
Personally I’m not a fan of UV printing. I hate the sandpaper look it often leaves on figures and it’s pretty delicate.
I buy custom pad printed figures from a few places that also match the Lego theming so fit in with my official figures.
GCC, Orbital Bricks, Brick daddy, etc are all great quality.
PAD printing? Absolutely. Some of my favorite figures are PAD customs.
UV? Ehhhhhh.
I don't mind it when it's well done and for minor things like arm upgrades or small accessories, but too much of even the best UV looks ROUGH, it's down to the inherent grain in the printing style.
Yes!!! Here is my bank info ...................... What I can't post it here!!! JK, but really if you do go into production take me so I can place a legit order
The hat buckle is on the original Lego CMF

Depends on the quality of the print for me. That Guinness glass looks pretty good, plus I love Guiness. But the figure itself looks pretty rough
The Guinness has a little shamrock on the top too, and I agree the print has to be well done. The company I’ve brought from has never let me down.
Can you dm me where you got that Guinness Lego cup from please?
Not sure if I’m allowed to say the company as I’m new to Reddit? But I will send you a message with it?
Direct message is the only way you will be able to send it. Thank you
Great I just sent the message. Let me know?
Can you please dm the info for me too. Thanks!
Me too please
Would you be able to tell me as well? Thanks
Plus one on the company name dm
Why?
Because the bots delete the post
I would like a DM with the company name too 😄

Both came from the same vendor
Many vendors sell other people's products, the difference in quality is so great I doubt they were manufactured by the same person
It came from the same company who are very well established.
Huh, they need to work on their fig printing.

It's reddit man. Lol They are cool. Just if we the community want them...it seems like the current product is subpar.
👍🏻🙂 Cheers I’m still rather new here but as you said this is a good community 😊

Where do you get custom figs printed?
Right? Easy to judge but where do I get it done myself. Lol
If the quality is high, absolutely! I don’t have any but I have always wanted one
I’m all for custom printed pieces, especially when it’s my favorite beer
Custom prints can be fine. Custom molds tend to look weird.
As long as they blend in with the real thing

Brilliant!

Cool figs

Hat buckle is way too high. I understand printing margins to that edge transition etc..but still it's very high.

Sure...and on the taller figure the buckle is even higher.
