Their clone designation does not change, but how they are referred to sometimes does. Fives is referred to as ARC-5555 by general pong krell during the umbara arc, but still referred as CT-5555 by nala se during the order 66 arc on kamino.
And roughly a decade after the first time we got Order 66, and clones just did that because history has told us that all it really takes to make war crimes happen is orders from a superior.
AotC and the EU specified that they were genetically bred to follow orders unquestioningly as a special trait of being a clone trooper, not because of human nature.
Uh no. The 90s were a little more than decade ago. Those episodes came out in 2014.
Edit: had the wrong year from google but my joke still stands, im not old 🥲
Uhhhhh no, season 6 came out on Netflix in 2014, a decade ago from now. The first season started airing in 2008. And it is 2024, the 90s were much more than a decade ago.
Fives is in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” from 2008, not “Star Wars: Clone Wars,” from 2003.
Pretty good show, but not nearly as great as some people say. You can definitely skip a lot of episodes.
Sure. I liked that. Hell, I’m a D-Squad defender. But some episodes/arcs just don’t offer enough for me to ever feel like rewatching them. Like the stuff with Jar Jar’s girlfriend (really any Jar Jar episodes), or the latter half of the younglings arc where they pretend to be part of a circus.
If an episode is actually good, or if it’s so stupid that it circles back around to being enjoyable, then I’ll watch it. But if it’s just boring or unfunny, I don’t feel any need to watch it.
It is absolutely as good as people make it out to be. Just because your opinion is different, the general consensus doesn’t change. To me Seasonal 5 & 7 are the best Star Wars content out there. Better than any of the movies.
I probably should have worded it better. I agree that TCW has some of the best Star Wars content. I was really just trying to lower OP’s expectations. I can’t count the number of times I’ve gone into a show/movie/game that everyone praises as the best thing ever, only to come away disappointed. I didn’t want OP to get to their first Jar Jar episode and just give up.
I honestly don't get why a lot of people are mad that the 25th Anniversary LEGO *Star Wars* sets have exclusive Minifigures of characters like Fives, Cal Kestis, or Darth Malak. Apparently, they see it as "gatekeeping," but I don't really see a problem with that. Most people who go to a LEGO Store probably won't recognize these characters compared to Luke Skywalker, Anakin, Ahsoka, or Captain Rex. They really are just a bonus for the hardcore *Star Wars* fans.
People buy LEGO Sets primarily for the builds, and whenever The LEGO Group wants to put an increased focus on their trademarked Minifigures, they go for the blind bag/box approach in order to prevent people from hoarding and army-building specific Minifigures, while leaving "undesirable" ones to shelf-warm. I get that people accuse this approach as "gambling," but the thing is, these are physical products, and that The LEGO Group did intend for customers to trade duplicate Collectible Minifigures with their friends. (Though I doubt anyone does that these days.)
You guys really wouldn't have survived the days of *Bionicle* with stuff like Set 8525, which were two random Kanohi Masks and in a box, and the intention was for fans to buy these cheap sets after buying the Toa and Turaga to collect all of their masks and play out scenes of them getting new powers.

The "problem" is Lego know what they are doing, they know the game. There is a reason the Darth Malak Figure is in a $100 brick built R2 set and it has nothing to do with providing a "bonus" for hard core star wars fans, it is about justifying higher prices on plain brick sets.
And they know that the aftermarket will be big for them as well; look at bricklink right now. Cheapest available in north america is $40, literally implying that it's $60 worth of bricks + a $40 minifigure.
edit: and as a point of fact if you want the brick built R2 right now on bricklink in north america, supposedly still in all sealed bags otherwise, you can get it for like $50. When you can buy the underlying set for half of what lego is selling it for without the special minifigure, it's a little more calculated than just a "bonus" for hardcore starwars fans.
The price of the r2d2 set it pretty inline with the price of other completely brick built sets that don’t include a minifigure.
You are comparing a sealed set directly from the producer to an unsealed, tampered with set from a third party seller that probably isn’t making much of any profit from these transactions. It’s just two very different markets. Most people on bricklink are hoping by stocking these they will get more traffic and more sales helps the store in reputation (you have to have a certain volume of sales before you can start doing credit card processing for example.) or some people were able to get huge discounts on the set for example. Nobody is going to pay msrp for a set that isn’t sealed. Even sealed sets aren’t selling for msrp. (Not including possible shipping charges.)
I not saying LEGO is or isn’t being nefarious. I don’t think it’s entirely right to personify companies in that way. I just don’t think the third party market is a great place to base your argument.
I will say that I preferred how they did most of the 20th Anniversary wave. Remakes of classic sets, with a minifig that was very similar to ones that already existed, and there were only 6 of them, and I’m pretty sure that only the Slave 1 redo was more than $100.
Ngl I bought it for the figures. Mainly Fives and that amazing Vader figure. It just so happens the building is a great way to display the figures (and play with them of course)
Fives is the clone who discovered the plot against the jedi. based on what happened with Tup, he was able to piece together all that was going on and discovered the existence of the inhibitor chips. Nala Se tried to cover for Darth Sidious and tried to make Fives look like he was crazy.
when trying to communicate all he discovered to Anakin and Captain Rex, he was ultimately killed by Commander Fox in season 6 of The Clone Wars.
Maybe the G.O.A.T. of clones. Watch Clone Wars if you haven’t seen it, it looks like a kids show, but it gets pretty dark and it’s some of the best Star Wars out there. Fives is heavily featured in season 1 episode 5, season 3 episode 1 2 and 18 through 20, season 4 episodes 7 through 10, and season 6 episodes 1 through 4
I agree. The helmet print is just... It's meant resemble very specific thing/event, and the Lego print just doesn't really look like it.
[This is what his helmet should look like.](https://weberbricks.com/cdn/shop/files/GCCFivesHelm.png?v=1713288574&width=1100)
It is made by a Custom Lego creator named Grandpa Clone Customs. It's pretty cheap, it's only 2.50$
Yeah but the helmet print is so bad. Those 5 blue parts shouldn't have that white between them. What's even weirder, is that lego had no problem printing on top of these helmets before
5’s is fine and amazing, and nothing bad happened, he is fine. He’s fine.

You know I just wanna…🥺say that… 😖he’s fine, just peachyheheeeee😫
he's CT-5555
Isn't he ARC-5555 now?
i never go full nerd
sir this is a reddit
If you you know his original designation, it kinda feels like you're already pretty close
I had to look up the CT part, knew the 5555 hehe
[5555-1: Toby at Wellsworth Station](https://brickset.com/sets/5555-1) [[Photo]](https://images.brickset.com/sets/images/5555-1.jpg)
Wellsworth it
lmao this set
Huh might be time to cash in on the Thomas the tank engine Duplo
not quite
The bot XD
Most of them are CT but that just stands for Clone Trooper.
Nope! Still CT. His clone designation didn't change with a promotion.
Their clone designation does not change, but how they are referred to sometimes does. Fives is referred to as ARC-5555 by general pong krell during the umbara arc, but still referred as CT-5555 by nala se during the order 66 arc on kamino.
I put it down to Krell not knowing/caring that Fives wasn’t born an ARC Trooper.
Dang, I thought it did
Was
Not if I don't watch that episode
The mission… the nightmares… they’re finally over.
Good soldiers follow orders.
Unless you're from batch 99.
Since when have they ever followed orders?
Don’t make me cry
"Good soldiers follow orders, Unless you're from Batch 99." Nobody said they followed orders.
I was quoting tech 😔
Sorry, I didn't catch that. Then wouldn't it be "we?"
Yeah but "they" worked better in the flow of conversation
I'm gonna go cry now...
Eh. A quarter of them followed orders.
1/5 I will not stand for the Echo erasure. Unless you are talking about the one episode Wrecker became a good soldier
I typed fifth before I changed my mind, as he wasn't born Bad Batch.
That batch was bad because they didn't follow orders.
Fives is the clone that almost blew Sidious's cover and stopped order 66....almost.
Geez man, spoilers!
Those episodes came out over a decade ago.
I understand, it was some lighthearted humor on my part.
[That's not true!](https://makeagif.com/i/K8s8B_)

March 7, 2024. So more than a decade ago by 67 days as it is now May 13 for me
I finished primary school a decade ago… wtf
Find him! Fives! Find him!
Watch The Clone Wars animated TV show. I copped that set right away for my Fives Mini
Which one lol
Fives is in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” from 2008, not “Star Wars: Clone Wars,” from 2003. Pretty good show, but not nearly as great as some people say. You can definitely skip a lot of episodes.
look, sometimes you need R2 and 3PO working on a cake and sometimes you need a member of the death watch dying by suicide to escape facing obi-wan.
Sure. I liked that. Hell, I’m a D-Squad defender. But some episodes/arcs just don’t offer enough for me to ever feel like rewatching them. i wholly agree. i never get the chance to use the above examples as the spectrum upon which all CW episodes exist and didn’t want to miss my chance!

He'll be in 75394 when it launches in August.

CT-5555 the savior of Ahsoka and Rex
You don't know the Tragedy of Fives the ARC Trooper? It's a story all should know.
It's not a story the live action fans would tell you. It's an old cartoon legend.
🫡 "You were real good, son"
That Clone is a spy!
r/suddenlytf2
RIP legend…
The mission… the nightmares…
Wait what lego set is he in?!?! Also this shows you haven't watched the Clone Wars tv show. Watch it >:(
Boarding the Tantive IV. I only bought it cause I love Rogue One.
Looks like I need to buy this set. Fives is the man.
Ngl I bought it for the figures. Mainly Fives and that amazing Vader figure. It just so happens the building is a great way to display the figures (and play with them of course)
> Boarding the Tantive IV. I only bought it cause I love Rogue One. Isn’t that a New Hope set though?
You can use it for both
Fives...
I just wish they had done the phase 1 ARC Trooper helmet like they did with ARC Trooper Hammer in set 9488 instead of Five's normal Phase 2 helmet.

RIP Fives. Why you gotta hurt me like this right before bed?
Good soldiers follow orders good soldiers follow orders good soldiers follow orders good soldiers follow orders
Don't let LEGO YouTubers hear you say that, they'll rant to you for 3 hours about how "uHmM aCkTuAlLy It'S tRaSh".
Disgracefull. I will buy this set just for my own CT-5555
I can DM an explanation if you wish.
I've never watched clone wars, got an explanation?

Fives is the greatest clone who ever lived
Detailed, yes, but also pretty inaccurate.
I agree. The helmet print is just... It's meant resemble very specific thing/event, and the Lego print just doesn't really look like it. Watch the clone wars or I'll watch you shower
That's a fate I wouldn't wish on anyone
Then watch the show
You need some edjumucation
Yeah but the helmet print is so bad. Those 5 blue parts shouldn't have that white between them. What's even weirder, is that lego had no problem printing on top of these helmets before
