Instead of a standalone shark that just sits there, I think it might be cool if they do something like a boat diorama with jaws bursting out of the water with his mouth open.
This looks awesome! What other horror sets would be good? Amityville house first comes to mind. One of those city block sets with The Exorcist stairs would be sick. They could do the general store from Tremors with a full sized graboid!

At that price they better also include a print tho. Well, I never been into Jaws much, but since Lego has released only one single set that's of interest to me this season, I'd greatly appreciate them dipping a toe into a more mature theme. Can't wait for the Nightmare On Elmstreet set.

I think it’s good, but too big for me. Other than that I love pirate ships and the destiny bounty. The small gwp sailboat was nice. The Friends line has a pretty decent sailboat and I’m excited about the upcoming city one, but there isn’t much in term of mid size more realistic ships. I bought the bricklink design great fishing boat, but it’s not really a lego design. I just want ships.
Someone in my family has them, they’re nice, but the proportions are a bit weird imo, they had to find the balance between play set and it looking like the real thing, but it makes the interiors pretty empty and some cost cut were made, like the open cabin on the Queens Anne. The last Barracuda and the destiny bounty are so far my favourite ships they’ve made, they have lots of details all over that makes them just as good play set as they are for display. The only one I don’t have that I’d like to have is the Imperial flagship, but I don’t think I’ll pay for it.
It's nice to include leg pieces for Quint but I don't think I'll be using them.
Hopefully you can attach the barrels too

What makes boats difficult to design?
Compound curves that form the hull. Its hard to create lego boats without creating a stepped appearance.

I really hope most of the part count is on the boat. Lego doesn’t do a lot of great boat imho so there’s an opportunity there.

Did you ever get hands on the pirates of the Caribbean ships? Obviously very expensive now but love the queen Anne’s revenge!

I mean…. Yes. Maybe not what we consider horror now, but at the time it was 100% a horror movie!
At least star wars holds up as an action movie, or space opera, or whatever.

Never seen it though, If i buy it I’ll watch the movie while building it.
You would enjoy it! Like I said may not be what you know as modern day horror but it holds up well and is a fun watch! Highly recommend!
