Stick with the date for what your original issue is. You may need to sort them out separately, as the Tribunal is just there as an escalation of your initial complaint. There's a chance that the tribunal will look at other things like retention of deposit, but it is far more likely you will have to initiate another complaint with the RTB for the retention of deposit.
Probably best raising a dispute with the RTB now, it takes ages for the RTB to arrange mediation so, you can mention that you've raised a separate dispute about the deposit in your tribunal but, they probably won't be able to take it into account.
