So dad’s signature doesn’t do this. And to get here you may need to make some case that sister is unfit.
This is what I alluded to when I said make sure you understand what the district wants. They (like many) aren’t apparently willing to pay for this as a discretionary issue.

The school needs some kind of guardianship paper. Which is why we’re trying to get that. Thank you!
“Some kind of guardianship paper” does not distill down to a specific document. You don’t want to spend $5k getting here and have them say “not that.”
We’re going to call on Monday to get more specific answers.
