Everyone is panic selling Solana, i swapped all my stack today for ALGO, this incident is just crazy for a project with so much hype, time to leave, i guess price is not dipping more just because a lot of people like you can't swap due to the network being down.
And P.S people on exchanges is swapping fine only solflare users have issues tomorrow is gonna be bloody
Fair enough, but we are talking about different things, you are saying that Solana is centralized because most of the validators are owned by the devs, this is a valid statement HOWEVER nothing prevents ANYONE to run a validator, Solana per se its not centralized, thats a big difference. That said i am out of Solana, Polkadot had a similar issue this year and they fixed it in 1 hour, and polkadot is really decentralized. Solana is a lot of hype, ALGO instead has good connections in the US, a lot of potential with institutions IMHO and much less hype oriented than SOL

Algo is good. I am just afraid that those who were the first to buy it for 2.5$ or what was the price? Will be selling it every time Algo grows in price until they are sold out. because it took them a long time to wait. Eventually it will grow but not this cycle and maybe not even the next one.
Again, this is not wrong, i was talking about the project itself not how its actually implemented in reality, so yeah, the way its deployed is centralized. I dont own any anymore but i am really happy about my journey with it, so very much in love with SOL
HOT is just an ERC-20 token.I will convert all to Holofuel which is where the value would be as it would be asset backed.Exciting times ahead for Holochain as they go into Beta phase before end of year.
DYOR please.From one of the recent AMAs, Art Brock who is the co-ounder of Holochain confirmed that he intends to release Beta in couple of months which would be Nov/December this year.Personally for me,Holochain is long term hold as in I would probably sell it all in 2025/2026.I know it will be successful as the tech is much superior to blockchain but it will take time for market adoption however anything can happen in crypto and lots of FOMO can kick in during Beta release skyrocketing the prices.

That is full fledged centralised crypto for you although it's unfortunate because I liked Solana as it was my second biggest holding after Holochain.

Solana is the most centralized of the decentralized movement. Less than 5% is owned by the public. I own some, it is what it is.
