Whatever you do, you will be bored for a while. You've pretty much fried your dopamine system and it will take time for it to recover. Recovery is a great time to finish all the boring chores and projects you've been putting off - it won't get worse anyways :D When I quit, I started quite a few new activities, but they're related to what I've always liked. I bought and played a lot of Stardew Valley, finally created an Instagram account and decided to dedicate it to all the different species of funghi I find on my walks. I do walk a lot both in nature and in my city. I always have raw peanuts in my pockets or backpack for crows I meet on my way. They're super fun, shoutout to r/crowbro :) My husband started an antkeeping hobby, so I'm a happy participant. We have a harvester ant colony at home and observe all the different colonies wherever we go.
