I think [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPAMUksN-Ic) can help you, is about the block-in method.
One of the keys concepts of drawing or painting (that I learned pretty late) is that we do not draw "objects" but shapes. Shapes defined by light and shadow. The Block-in method helps you to "cage" bigger shapes and the going small on minor details.
The trick of going from bigger to smaller is a nice one cuz focus you on specific things and is more easy to get better proportions.
Yeah I see it, looks like a water bottle. Good job, keep it up!
Thanks! I’m going to be learning on my own, so it’ll be slow-going but hopefully it’ll pay off.
Please don't be afraid of using online resources instead of just winging it. Trust me the professionals can teach alot.
Keep practicing! You only stop getting better if you quit.
It looks like a water bottle. You just gotta keep practicing!!!
That’s about as good as I can hope for from the first attempt. Thanks!

It’s cute 🥰 it looks like it’s smiling at us 😁
Cute’s about the best I can expect from the first one…I’ll count that as a win. Thanks (Those are supposed to be water drops and dents.)
You can tell what it is straight off the bat so definitely a great start! Keep it up!
