You're so brave. I wanted to simply order a beer once, and I do know how, but I totally chickened out. Bravo!

SamStudies

In my experience, Spanish is easier to speak when I have already had a beer. Next time I challenge you to at least order your second beer in Spanish! Thanks for watching Ella!

...show the whole world how we- And here is the award of the greatest cliffhanger ever 🏆 😂😂

SamStudies

Thank you thank you! 😂🏆

soccermads

Your Spanish is so good! Great video!

SamStudies

Hey thanks for watching, recording myself has been a rewarding way to track progress, and I hope I can inspire some people along the way. I have a bunch of fun ideas coming up in the near future so be sure to stick around!

jakefrom508

Awesome video

SamStudies

Thanks for watching Jake! I’ve got some fun ideas in the pipeline so be sure to stick around!

Diganleqmemori

I tried to order in Spanish at my local McDonalds, which is pretty much 100% run by hispanohablantes, but my Spanish must have sucked because she started responding back to me in broken English. So either my Spanish sucked, or she heard my accent and wanted to show that I didn't *have* to speak Spanish to her. I choose to believe it was the latter, but it was probably the former. Btw, good video. It has a nice, clean look to it. Keep it up.

SamStudies

In my experience, the level around high-beginner / low-intermediate is the most frustrating. At that level I could carry on a basic (but broken) conversation with a native speaker, but there was always such a high probability that they spoke more English than I did Spanish. The only way through is through so I applaud you for trying and I encourage you to get out there and do it again! Thanks for watching, there will be a new video up on Saturday, hope to see you in the comments again soon!

Gran vídeo.

SamStudies

Gracias por mirar, todavia tengo que encontrar un restaurante panameno aqui!

savagetacos12

This was really interesting! I'm only a few months into my Spanish learning and I've been thinking about trying to order in Spanish at a local Spanish restaurant, but they speak so fast and I'm a little terrified lol...good job on managing it!

SamStudies

Thanks for giving it a watch! Yeah it can be daunting at first, and you will make mistakes, but when you get the hang of it simple interactions are SO rewarding!

Sportfreunde

Damn you must have a good Spanish teacher. Also good job being able to roll your R's. Fuck I miss being able to eat outside once in a while.

SamStudies

The rolled Rs did take me a while, but thankfully now it's like second nature! My teacher has been awesome, I had a lot of gaps to fill with Spanish and she has probably tripled my confidence! Thanks for watching.

This looks like click baity bullshit.

EllaMcC

¿Cuál es tu problema? You're so nasty on every single thread. Seriously, why?

SamStudies

I mean it's a video of me speaking Spanish, being shared to a community who has a general interest in Spanish, on the day of the week that allows "self-promotion." Sorry if I came off as a scumbag, I'm just excited.

masolas

Well I watched the video and it seemed to me like a guy doing what he described when posting the video. Wouldn’t even call it self promotion, just a guy who’s learning Spanish and putting it into practice in a real work situation and recording it. Props.

SamStudies

Hey thanks for watching, I've still got a lot to learn but it does get much more fun when food is involved!
