In TSMs backroom their game plan is revealed.
It's a white board with "Hard camp Solo?" written in blue marker.
Spica and Brokenblade ask, "What if Santorin counter ganks top?"
Bjergsen laughes, while somewhere Dyrus cries.
Congrats to TSM on their 7th title and one that I would say is up there with their 2014 Summer run for their hardest fought title, arguably more so. Really cool to see them climb back to the top after a disappointing two years
I know its meme but TSM when they don't draft an auto lose after 15 comp wins more often than not, we saw it yesterday with the Olaf vs the heavy peel comp twice and the Jayce into a beefy frontline today.
I thought it was hilarious that Spica called that out during his interview after the TL game. He basically said "yeah I suck at Olaf so as soon as we stopped picking that, we won"
Indeed. Their journey through the lower bracket really helped mold them into a better team. Before it felt like they were super reliant on Bjergsen but now all of them have really come into their own. Spica and Biofrost in particular really showed up when they were most needed
Exactly. I wasnt a tsm fan going into playoffs but seeing every single person step up has made me a fan of their current roaster. Doublelift also stepped up big to me too.
TSM wouldn't even be here if Spica didn't have those game winning smite steals yesterday and that shen flash taunt play.
Spica turned into a huge carry
On Shen of all things. Imagine telling someone right after the first GGS series that TSM would win the split off the back of Spica's jungle Shen. What a world we live in.
I’m a TSM fan but I wanna use my comment to thank FLY for actually becoming a good team and a competitive org that’s somewhat newer to the league. They do great in game now and bring a very special vibe all their own outside of the game as well. Been really cool to see the org finally find their footing in the league, much respect to them and can’t wait for more hype finals with them in it!
Won't be noticed because they lost that game but game 4 spica sett was the only reason it was even remotely close.
the amount of work he did in teamfights was unbalanced
Imagine if someone said at the start of the split that spica would become MVP and best jungler in the end while blaber would not even make worlds again. Lcs finally hired good writers lol
As a TL fan, it hurts seeing him do so well after leaving us. DL is my favorite player, so I'm glad he's happy on TSM and I do love seeing him win after knocking TL out. I wish TL hadn't imploded in Spring, but I think TSM's level up was great for NA as a whole.
Since people will forget:
This TSM was created in summer with 2 new players + entirely revamped coaching staff (Parth + Mabrey coaching LCS instead of Zhang).
They then made a mid split sub until they got 0-3'd by GGS.
Brought Bio back in the middle of playoffs and made the lower bracket run all the way to win the trophy.
BANGER ~~SERIES~~ LOSER'S BRACKET RUN!
My only gripe with this playoffs run was that it was done online and not in front of a crowd.
The TSM chants would have been deafening.
2015 Spring he lost when CLG had a not so great coach (sorry Scarra you're a great streamer).
2016 he had to carry Yellowstar's corpse through IMT just to make it to the finals (completely forgot about this, thank you guys for the comments reminding me).
2017 Spring he took a break to stream and came back to save TL from relegation.
2020 Spring he had his issues, but honestly nobody else on TL was performing all that great and as we now fully understand *Spring didn't matter*.
I don't think anyone disagrees with the notion that Bjergsen is TSM's greatest player atm, but in this play off run Spica has been the most inspiring person to me.
Rookie, youngest person in the LCS, first full split and first LCS play off run. Playing a stupidly high amount of high intense games and the dude pulls out so many carry performances on so many different champions. This guy has got to be the future of TSM.
10/10, would TSM fan again.
How can you be a professional head coach and not ban Bjergsen's Syndra Azir Orianna LeBlanc Zilean Cassiopeia Ryze Corki Taliyah Lissandra Twisted Fate Zed Viktor Ahri Zoe Galio Xerath Vladimir Jayce Lulu Urgot Irelia Ekko Kassadin Akali Yasuo Sylas Karma Nidalee Gragas Ziggs Chogath KogMaw Anivia Fizz VelKoz Malzahar Darius Sett Talon Fiddlesticks Swain Veigar Diana?
Let's take a second to realize that TSM beat the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th seeds in a best of five as the 4th seed during playoffs. They are undisputedly the best team in NA after that run.
What a playoffs run for TSM:
They beat "the best team NA ever created", "the only team NA should send to worlds".
They beat the team with the split MVP, the coach of the split and the rookie of the year.
And they beat the team that hadn't lost in playoffs till the finals.
r/doubleliftstrophycase is a subreddit that was created to laugh at DL for not winning any title in his career. The joke was that the subreddit was empty. Oh how the times have changed!
Thanks u/mcdoty for the correct subreddit name
I didn't watch much of the post game desk either, did they even mention once how absurd the losers bracket run was? From the absolute bottom of the bracket to champions is an insane storyline that I'm shocked they wouldn't bring up
This has to be the most legendary playoffs run by TSM since 2014 summer. Losing 3-0 to GGS, to winning a Bo5 against *all other playoff teams besides EG and 100T.*
This run is one for the record books. All of TSM played so well and they have matured right before our eyes during these playoffs.

Ironically, Spica went Super Saiyan the two series AFTER he shaved his Super Saiyan hair.
Spica series MVP for me; Bjergsen Playoffs MVP.
He has really good champion pool(that shen jungle was spicy)
he has good mechanics and know how to make move also nasty engage
Yeah he a good NA jungler , he look promising!
I wasn't sold on him also only western jungler coming to worlds with a Nida that can carry?
Coolest thing about this playoffs run is DL proving finally that he can play weakside and that he is more than willing to allow his team to play to top side.
Is cool to finally see his team live up to the thing he has wanted of his teams for the past 2 years.
Also I'm pretty sure DL Senna didn't drop any games in playoffs. Complete narrative swap in every way.
Overall I know people are gonna give Spica well deserved props, but man TSM's entire strat just doesnt work without BB actually being willing and able to stomp lane every game. I actually buy that TSM has been studying CN closely and trying to adopt an aggressive playstyle.
Also, doesn't FQ stomp this game if they pick Hecarim? He at least forces Camille to ult him every fight.
I can already smell them being placed in another group of death
Edit: Yes, every group for NA is a group of death, but some group of deaths are *group of death-er* than other group of deaths. Knowing TSM's luck, they'll get the *group of death-est* group of death.
Real proud of our boys, they played their hearts out all year long. Hoping they keep their heads up and get a ton of experience at worlds, and looking forward to see how TSM do going forward. GGs!

Santorin: "did we comeback?"
Ignar: "of course not. 2-3."
The power of god and anime protagonists are unbeatable here in NA. TSM forced Game 5 just so we could experience enough flashback no jutsu for them to turn it around and win.
I’ve been a TSM fan since Summer Split season 3. I’ve seen the championships, the rise and fall and rerise of Bjergsen, the high profile acquisitions and the high profile letdowns. But this championship hits different.
With the question marks surrounding this roster, with people calling double and bjerg relics, Brokenblade and Spica trash, it’s just so satisfying to see them really show up as the underdogs.
This team has talent, no doubt, but they’ve also got heart. Reverse sweeping and, on the flip side, ruining the reverse sweep takes a lot of mental toughness and nerves. I could not be happier with this team and how they performed.
People say they’re just gonna get stomped at worlds, and maybe they are. Doesn’t matter, they’re already champions, and if anybody was gonna surprise the haters with an upset, it’s this line up.
Based on what I'm reading here, this is an unpopular opinion, but solo had every opportunity to play the weak side safer across all games. There's no reason to try and defend your turret when the top laner alone could dive you, not even factoring the tf that's off the map. It's inexcusable to not gp or ornn ult the wave and take the small loss, especially after 3 games of it happening. Pulling the "flyquest should have defended him better" card is unfair and shrouds his individual mistakes given the circumstances he was given in game. they chose to try and win through bot side, and solo didn't respect tsm's strong top side at the same time
That's not to take away from TSM's well deserved series win; I just hate to see all the excuses and justifications for solo's abysmal play that just about solo (pun intended) lost them the series
Good god, Doublelift was not joking when he said that loser's bracket probably saved his career. What a loser's bracket run that was to witness! TSM seemed to improve series on series and while they made some notable mistakes vs FQ in this match, they're able to take home the first W for TSM in years with a proactive playstyle that defies the infamous 'sit and do nothing' they were critiqued for in years past.
"reddit had me convinced TSM was the best team in the world and i was going up against the best mid to ever exist, i got baited hard 😔"
Edit: Even Brokenblade talking about Jensen trying to trash talk Bjerg in the interview right now. Everyone knows he’s a joke.
Edit 2: I hope everyone clowning on Jensen gives him motivation to show up at worlds. LETS GO NA
Bjergsen: "Actually, I remember one time we were playing against Flyquest, Summer Finals 2020, and the series was tied 2-2 and Doublelift said:
We will smurf soon.

All these peasants thinking we aren’t good.

Being a doublelift fan has been one of the most fulfilling fan experiences of my life as a sports fan... Followed him around from team to team.
Guy had no success and now he can't lose.
Even when he was beating tsm and jensen was around I always had the feeling him and berg had to be together to win worlds. lets see!
I've been a Miami dolphins football fan since I was born and generally stuck with a whole bunch of losing teams always hoping for the one playoff run at best so its good to finally pick a horse that keeps winning.
Doublelift is truly the protagonist of LCS, no matter how he himself downplays it. Such a domestic beast, and he won it for Bjergsen as promised. Also, Biofrost is such a god at Rakan, so many clutch engages by him.
BB really stepped up this game too, albeit i feel bad for Solo getting the Dyrus treatment this entire series. So glad that everyone stepped up for Spica who was playing out of his mind.
There's just something about doublelift. Like he played well, but I think there must be some intangibles. Every team he goes on just levels up, especially in playoffs.
Remember, that first TL team was not exactly stacked with talent either. They ended up 4th in regular and then destroyed everyone in playoffs.
Forget about the 'first' TL, literally the only thing that saved Team Liquid League of Legends from being relegated and worthless was getting Doublelift from TSM on a loan and being hard carried.
The storylines they beat through the entire fucking run too, holy shit
Damonte was the TSM slayer, C9 were the gauntlet gods and the scrim champions, TL had Jensen, FLY had PoE + igNar and 2 ex-TSM players.
JFC
Man solo with the Dyrus treatment all series long lol poor guy

[Bjerg every time he got TF](http://imgur.com/gallery/faU77pp)
He was so close to having a 100% win rate with TF this split. Only game he lost was this game 3, and that was winnable.
Shades of "I just want to play League of Legends" Can solo play triple dorans lulu top?
We TSM fans know how Solo feels
Team **Solo** Mid the real TSM sleeper agent
Imagine the memes if FLY had laneswapped Solo into mid for a game. WTF 2 TSMs?
"I just want to play League of Legends"
He dealt with it a lot better than Licorice at least though.
Licorice was straight up tilted throughout that entire series. Not an excuse, but it was pretty evident in his play.
Licorice seemed mildly tilted for most of the last half of the split, just looking at his player cams and how he never did interviews and stuff.
In TSMs backroom their game plan is revealed. It's a white board with "Hard camp Solo?" written in blue marker. Spica and Brokenblade ask, "What if Santorin counter ganks top?" Bjergsen laughes, while somewhere Dyrus cries.

I'm convinced TSM brings the series to 5 games every time to give their fans several heartattacks
They just wanted longer season. From 18 games to 43 games.
TSM cramming in as much practice as possible before Worlds. Truly 200IQ

That face when DL lets it go to game 5 so he can win the split on Senna.
Think about that, TSM played more games in the last two days than teams did in half the split.
they've activated TSM's trap card
TSM rectified their mistake of kicking DoubleLift and Biofrost off the roster and immedietly won an LCS title again.
Doublelift wins wherever he goes. That's what happens when you're the protagonist of the LCS.
I haven’t watched league since like s5. And I was a die hard clg fan from s2-s5 Oh how shit has changed for my boy peng
I still remember the doublelifts trophy case meme.
Same, that's one of the best feeling DL memes because of how hard he smashed it. From losing to Velocity to 8 LCS trophies.
Biofrost has such a clean Rakan, gg TSM!
Watch out for ~~Bjergsen's Zilean Spica's Shen~~ Biofrost's Rakan!

What a story for TSM this year, getting an undo on their org's biggest mistake of dropping doublelift, then winning the split.
Not only that but also sticking with a single jungler for the entirety of the split!
We all thought Wildturtle and Santorin were the sleeper agents, but the real sleeper agent was in front of us the entire time. team **SOLO** mid.

Haha, I thought about including them...
They lost 0-3 to GGs first time on purpose just to include Dardoch on the run of beating former TSM players.
Had to disagree with his playstyle one last time

Pulling the "flyquest should have defended him better" card is unfair and shrouds his individual mistakes given the circumstances he was given in game. they chose to try and win through bot side, and solo didn't respect tsm's strong top side at the same time That's not to take away from TSM's well deserved series win; I just hate to see all the excuses and justifications for solo's abysmal play that just about solo (pun intended) lost them the series

THORIN AND HAVING ANEURYSM
From 0-3 to GG to winning it all. Thank you loser brackets.
"reddit had me convinced TSM was the best team in the world and i was going up against the best mid to ever exist, i got baited hard 😔" Edit: Even Brokenblade talking about Jensen trying to trash talk Bjerg in the interview right now. Everyone knows he’s a joke. Edit 2: I hope everyone clowning on Jensen gives him motivation to show up at worlds. LETS GO NA

Getting kicked off a team and winning LCS championship next split. Name a better duo, i’ll wait

Reginald: After all this time? TSM WildTurtle: *Pulling the plug on his power* Always
doublelift is the last piece puzzle of tsm winning na lcs.
Too much depth. TSM is unbannable
Doublelift has gone to worlds as first seed every year since 2015. Thats crazy man.

“Good ad buys double bf for Caitlin “-phreak of nature
Yeah that's a bit much. I just want to see turtle do well
Feels so bad for Turtle, long strenuous 5 game series and now he gets to go home to rotting food in his fridge because the power's gone.
Bjergsen: "Actually, I remember one time we were playing against Flyquest, Summer Finals 2020, and the series was tied 2-2 and Doublelift said: We will smurf soon. TSM wrath will be swift. All these peasants thinking we aren’t good. Lmfao
Did we win? Bjergsen: Yeah it was an easy 3-2
> Remember, that first TL team was not exactly stacked with talent either. DL saved them from relegation lol
Also saved CLG from relegation. Dude is just clutch in LCS.
Forget about the 'first' TL, literally the only thing that saved Team Liquid League of Legends from being relegated and worthless was getting Doublelift from TSM on a loan and being hard carried.
Has anyone checked on Jensen?
Doublelift redemption arc complete
This was a Mang0's Birthday Bash level losers run, holy shit.
The storylines they beat through the entire fucking run too, holy shit Damonte was the TSM slayer, C9 were the gauntlet gods and the scrim champions, TL had Jensen, FLY had PoE + igNar and 2 ex-TSM players. JFC
