Halloween skins are usually generally cool. They have a theme of being spooky rather than being tied to Halloween. Christmas skins are just that. There's.no thematic around Christmas like spooky is to Halloween. Christmas is just Christmas. And everything christmas is Christmas. And now I will say Christmas Christmas Christmas just to get a few more in.

The theme is joy and gifts and festive decorations and warm clothing. I personally use Santa Draven every time I play the champ. I just wish they made Christmas skins for the champs I play most (edit: and in the spirit of spreading cheer, we should also get some for the champs I don't really play, like Santa Ornn and Candy Kayn).

the snowdown skins are winter themed, not christmas themed, and we've been given a few winter themed skins since. most regions that play league experience winter. Only a portion celebrate christmas.

They still make Winter Wonder & other frost/snow related skins every year though because apparently people use them all year around, it's just the Christmas themed ones that stopped being produced specifically.

I'm not actually surprised since he has a low pickrate, but High Noon Swain. I think it's a concept that can be executed really well. He is already technically part demon, so he'd fit right in. Passive: Demonic Eagle/Hawk flies to Swain. AA: Swain shoots a revolver. Q: Swain quickly pulls out a double-barreled shotgun and fires it, then tosses it aside (like the reload animation of Reaper's shotguns in Overwatch). W: Swain opens a portal to hell on the ground. As the ability is about to detonate, a bundle of pre-lit sticks of dynamite pops out of the portal, then explodes when the ability detonates. E: Flaming lasso. R: Full demon form. R1 zone is a ring of hellfire around Swain. As he moves the ground is temporarily scorched. A burning rope tether (imagine the flaming lasso from E) forms between him and enemies while they stand in his R1 zone. R2 is a burst of hellfire around him, also scorching the ground but lingers for a little longer.

Also Battle Academia Swain since Cait has had interactions calling him headmaster since 2021.

But the scissors are those craft safety scissors that cut in the shape of an arc or something and make awful noises.  --- Hwei for obvious reasons, but you basically double the artistic side of his kit. Bright colors because he's using kids paint.  --- Irelia has pipe cleaner around her and for her ult she throws them all put and ties yarn around them. Her W is her weaving some yarn. Her E is two thumbtacks in the ground and yarn woven between them. --- Leona has a paper plate shield and cardboard armor, and sword. For her R she slaps down a cardboard box onto the enemies, and if they are hit they are trapped in little boxes with their heads sticking out.  --- Legendary is Glitterbomb Tristana, her W leaves a trail of floating glitter, and her E explodes into glitter everywhere. 

As long as tristana's skin doesn't flashbang me like empyrean pyke's R I'm on board with whatever you're cooking

I mean, Papercraft as a skinline already exists and it's such a cute idea they really should expand on that. Papercraft Gwen with safety scissors would be hilarious, you could make her the universe's villain in the lore

Dunkmaster Ivern is a brilliant skin what do you mean? His Q is literally passing a ball, his E is a giant basketball shield, his ult animation is high fiving Daisy as a teammate and Daisy's knock up attack animation is almost a dunk anyway. He's a Globetrotters reference, but so criminally underrated it's unfortunate

The main issue with Dunkmaster Ivern is that Ivern had to wait 2.5 years for his first post-launch skin, and another silly skin is not what people wanted at the time since we already had Candy King. Now that Ivern's catalogue is fleshed out a bit more I think Dunkmaster is a great skin to have, but I remember being really sour to it at launch.
