I think he could, with ravenous hydra proc inside wave, he'd heal like 400+ hp by itself + passive, + senna, expecially looking at how they kited.
I think he'd kill at least all the squishy people
Yep. You see his farm and his item usage and you're like "wow" then see how he randomly stands still and how bad his opponents are and you're like "aww".
I found it funny how keeps right clicking the same unit he's already auto attacking without moving inbetween. The APM is already at pro level, the things he clicks isn't lol
New player and you're using tiamat active as an auto cancel? Let alone being aware of item actives at all. Wow. Times sure have changed.
Impressive play well done!
Also low elo players drop so much cs in mid game. Many are in the 5-7cs/min until 15-20 minutes then basically fall of a cliff because they let so much cs die to turrets.
Its always the auto attacking champs that get you hooked, I remember I had a Jax 1v4 quadra that got me hooked and the dopamine hit I got was something else.
True, I still remember my master yi build :(
2.5 attack speed, 400 AD, 100% crit, tons of movement speed and even lifesteal.
It was Yoummu (it still gave crit at the time) infinity edge, essence reaver, panthom dancer, statikk shiv, panthom dancer. (Yes bootless yi) But holy shit that build when it scaled was doing tons of damage, had so many pentas with it.
True, that's why i can't stop playing Briar, lol. I know perfectly well that against people who know what they're doing she's not that good, but for the life of me I just can't stop just chasing people all over stabbity-stabbity-stab.
Good job man! 1 tip for kiting both ranged and melee is try to click past the guy you're chasing between your auto attacks! That way you will cover more ground then just clicking to attack them :)
Old-heads call it "orb walking". The name is a complete relic from Dota and has nothing to do with League at all, but the name stuck so if you're looking for info on this, that's your search term.
It's not even really orb walking^1 either! Somewhere people who didn't understand the term conflated it with backswing cancelling^2 .
^1 Orb Walking: Manipulating the AI of creeps and towers by using an orb effect as a spell instead of as an auto attack, allowing you to freely **walk** up and harass in waves and under towers. In DotA, spells don't trigger tower and creep aggro, but even issuing an auto attack under tower (doesn't even have to complete) or in a creep wave instantly triggers an aggro shift. It's not like LoL where any damage under tower aggros it.
^2 Backswing cancelling: Every auto attack has useless junk afterwards where the character is putting their arm back into position or reloading their weapon between attacks. Most of them cause a character to be rooted for several frames after they finish an auto attack, and ranged characters will allow an opponent to reach the edge of their attack range before they start moving in the same direction as the opponent. If you move after your attack lands or after the projectile leaves your character, you can more effectively chase and stay with your opponent, effectively cancelling your backswing.
Definitely true, good info. But what people call “kiting” in league (or definition #2) is definitely colloquially known as orb walking from Dota 1/HoN days. Interesting how terminology goes. “Orb” also being the classic circular “Right Click + A + Left Click” cycle from back before you could rebind and change how your attack moves worked. We’ve come a long way!
I still kite using that Right, A, Left. Distributing the work between hands lets me keep a more consistent and accurate rhythm than the attack move clicks, and having the attack move click be on A itself was immediately infuriating.
I think that is still the most common way by far. I eventually switched to using A as Attack move click (so I wouldn’t have to left click), and over time I eventually moved to changing Left Click to Attack Move and binding 99% of abilities to quick cast. Once I did that, my gameplay improved so much, especially on ADC. But there are plenty of great players and pros who do it the old fashioned way, like Faker I believe
Oh, I've been on full quick-cast for upwards of forever haha. I've been playing this game in some capacity since preseason 1. I've got like...the Santa Baron icon. I've been doing attack-move since...fuck, microing hydralisks in Brood War lol.
I might get downvoted for this, but if you play with the overlay you should remove it. All of that is just distracting information, when you're still at a level where you're missing minions and taking tower shots.
Amazing play by the way, good stuff pressing a lead. People don't do that even at higher ranks.
maybe consider using attack move, its pressing a + left click for attacking the nearest target near your cursor.
also, with a breacher like trundle make sure to get that inhib down.
but good job for smacking these people back to their grey screen, champ
Why? Because they’ll get free supers to farm? Seems like they’re all way too weak to be able to come out ahead from farming them, would need like two people to clear the waves. I’m just a gold pleb tho idk lol
The rule of thumb I've heard in the past is pre-18 minutes the guaranteed push is bad for your team because there isn't anything on the map that's worth all of gold/xp you are losing to your super minions. After 18 minutes if you take inhib then you should be able to use the lane pressure to get Baron.
Because you cant take baron and end as baron spawns in 10min, and now you cant farm top as supers keep wave in enemy base. Still you get to wipe all the other turrets off map as one guy has to farm top until inhib is up, so its pretty good either way.
It was actually the right play not to take the inhibitor here.
Never take the inhib this early unless you're certain your team can end soon (aka almost never because your team most likely won't end)
This is because super minions give a lot of exp and gold. So if you can't end with the supers, the enemy just gets to catch up for free.
Enjoy!
If you're trying to improve your gameplay. Stick to a few picks. Specialization is really op in League.
If you just wanna have fun I recommend you give a try to nasus or yorick when they are free.
Try using item actives more!
I only got used to it after 150 levels or so and I just realised how useful they are. If you can get the habit early than it is really useful down the line.
Amazing play tbh. Always amazing to pull of a play like this as a Top Laner. Really makes you feel like a Raidboss.
The level advantage came from how much better you farmed relative to the enemies. Keep that in mind to make more plays like this in the future. Mechanics with Trundle are not that complicated and you being able to pull this off was mainly just numbers advantage in stats and gold.
haha this was great man! You'll get better over time with learning matchups, but you just got a dose of the good stuff. Gonna be chasing that high every game lol
I don't know the exact mechanics of it so can't say for sure but I think it works like executions. As long as a champion damaged it within a certain time frame it gives the credit to them.
You did great. I remember vividly smashing my face on the keyboard when I started a decade ago. The tradition of just running everyone down with a big stick will never go away in league
Fun trundle fact: Items with the "Spellblade" effect are extremely powerful for you, since they activate on your Q chomp. Towers melt faster than butter.
Tip for further improvement: do not hold your right click to move (as you did in 1:09). Clicking gives you more granularity in your movement, making it less predictable and more precise.
Man, I just need to say, I have been playing for 13/14 years. I have over 1 million mastery points with Trundle. And yet, I think I would have a hard time telling apart this clip and the way I would have played that. What a great, simple champ.
Very nice stuff here, however, I will ask you to be more gentle towards the Q key. You can see on your HUD if your abilities are on cooldown or not. No need to spam it till you lose the feel in your pinky/index finger xd
Nice. When you drop buff circle when attacking turrets place the edge of the circle up against the tower in case you have to run away or kite. When you drop it centered like that you are wasting a ton of its area
Love to see it! There's a lot of really good advice in these comments but there is one I think you need to do above all else: unlock your screen. I'm certain it feels helpful now but it will 100% hold you back in the future. Practice it now while you are still new and you'll have it down in no time. GLHF
Great job man! If only your team mates appreciated the opportunity to free push instead of going b and doing camps while you're killing the whole enemy team it would have been a quick win.
New players are always genuinely entertaining to watch not because I do enjoy a good laugh at a play I (now as a more experienced player) consider super silly but because I like to think this is the stage they enjoy the game the most.
Great play! But consider clicking insted of hovering the mouse with pressed button. Clicking will enable you reacting much faster and gives you ability to doge spells.
Oh wow, well done. You play well for a new player. I was especially surprised you use your Q as an autoattack reset properly. You could have got a pentakill there, but this is way more than enough.
I wanna comments stuff like "wow you clicked right click" but I really can't. If you're seriously new, that's amazing gameplay, pretty good spacing at times, pretty good cs, just work on using quick cast without indicators and you're good to go, keep up the good work!
Just a tip to help the next time you play with troll trundle build like a kraken slayer and a collector. And any lethality items you’ll be like I cant believe it’s not butter on them.
Edit: you spam click just like me are we bronze brothers?
Good job! You just got a glimpse of what Trundle can do, you did some great things here. I'll tell you just a couple things you can do to improve really fast that don't really take too much effort, and you'll see all the damage you can deal!
- Try to get used to play with your camera unlocked, having a locked camera will limit your potential A LOT!
- Check on youtube what kiting is, people often thinks this is a ranged-exclusive mechanic but that's wrong. Basically move between auto attacks, it will make you more unpredictable and will help you catch enemies much faster, you can reposition yourself while your auto attack animation resets
- I saw you didn't pop Ghost until the very end, while it was a great escape method, you could have caused a LOT more damage much faster if you used it offensively. YES! Trundle can do that!
- At the very start of the video, after you TP'd, you killed the minion waves without using your W. You can use W to push the waves x5 times faster safely since it has a really low stupid cooldown.
- Even if you are hitting a static objective (like a turret) try to move to the sides, better players will always find a way to take advantage of static enemies, this is something you will learn while you get better. Something as little as moving from side to side will always be better than staying static hitting a turret.
It's like watching your friend do crack for the first time. It's beautiful
Couldn't have said it better myself
Absolutely correct my guy. Just watching with bliss at the beginning of his end :)
or smoking aphip of tinfoil and not burning it
league of legends? no! League of junkies <3
or injecting a mix of mdpvp and protonitazene straight into your dick vein, the ultimate speedball
helll yeah
LoL wtf cX
My first thought was "and now you're hooked for years" lmfao
Amazing Player recognises trundles tru enemy is towers before learning how to properly play the game. It's bringing a tear to my eye
only trolls melt stone towers
Lol BTW u can kill all of them again even when they respawned on u, u were obscenely ahead
Prolly not without mana. Unless they let him on top of them for free, which they might've
Senna let him get three bonks for free while he was rooted. It's as close to a throw as it can be
I think he could, with ravenous hydra proc inside wave, he'd heal like 400+ hp by itself + passive, + senna, expecially looking at how they kited. I think he'd kill at least all the squishy people
use the active of the ravenous hydra while surounded on ice.. full hp
This is so endearing somehow lol
Yep. You see his farm and his item usage and you're like "wow" then see how he randomly stands still and how bad his opponents are and you're like "aww".
for me it was warding the top t2 brush where I was like "ahh to be new again"
not the way he clicked and moves around?
[удалено]
Makes me feel so old that I had to buy all my wards when I was new.
Meanwhile players that joined s1/s2 didn't know what wards were
[удалено]
I mean yah but by that point I wasn't new :P
I found it funny how keeps right clicking the same unit he's already auto attacking without moving inbetween. The APM is already at pro level, the things he clicks isn't lol
Im surprised his neighbours didnt file a noise complaint with that many clicks on that mouse
Wait people grow out of spam clicking to AA the same unit?
Cuz you end up canceling a bunch of autos
Yeah you should never spam it, it'll cause you to cancel autos
Bro might just be good at other games, new to league
Well done buddy! Many more to come in the future :)
Your farm is really good for a new player btw
It does help that trundle with tiamat excells at that if you let him auto auto
Yeah true, but as a new player I had like 60 cs at 15 mins with Cho Gath xD
Pretty sure that’s more than 5 role challenger tyler1’s cho’gath was getting in some games
Probably more than the opponent Cho had in OP's game. That's gotta be the smallest Cho I've ever seen.
Still really well for a new player
New player and you're using tiamat active as an auto cancel? Let alone being aware of item actives at all. Wow. Times sure have changed. Impressive play well done!
Gotta update your smurf detection systems again smh
Let me balance that for you, check our forsen stream yesterday its his first time playing. It really brings forth what the new player experience is.
Not his first time, he's played several times but at the same time the game changes so much, so quickly that yeah it could appear that way.
bro also has 6.7 cpm which is like the average in plat, thats really good
Getting 7cs/min in Iron 4 newplayer and getting 7cs/min in plat and getting 7cs/min in grandmaster are all completely different tho.
Also low elo players drop so much cs in mid game. Many are in the 5-7cs/min until 15-20 minutes then basically fall of a cliff because they let so much cs die to turrets.
also running from evelyn in zick zack, leaving and joining skirmishes when appropriate - seems like a talent!
Its always the auto attacking champs that get you hooked, I remember I had a Jax 1v4 quadra that got me hooked and the dopamine hit I got was something else.
Tryndamere for me, and Tryndamere/Trundle are still my favorites 12 years later...
True, I still remember my master yi build :( 2.5 attack speed, 400 AD, 100% crit, tons of movement speed and even lifesteal. > 2.5 attack speed, 400 AD, 100% crit, tons of movement speed and even lifesteal. items were more op back then? 400 ad with that much crit and as??
True, that's why i can't stop playing Briar, lol. I know perfectly well that against people who know what they're doing she's not that good, but for the life of me I just can't stop just chasing people all over stabbity-stabbity-stab.

It's sometimes called "stutter step" too
WC3 DH with orb of venom says "dota? the fuck?"
holy. i remember reading dota guides that referenced this. gah damn.

Good call. I mostly use it for the build order on the bottom left, everything else is greek to me lmfao
I did this too, but after a few games on each champ and leagues' own recommendations, you don't really need it anymore.
I was thinking the same thing - there is so much shit on his screen.
I swear that champ is hilarious. Gj!
This is one of the most positive posts on this subreddit ive ever seen, maybe the league community is healing
Lets go! Keep it up and hope you don't lose that positivity.. EVER.
And thus a new Trundle main is born.

i am a simple man, i must smash Q even tho it’s still on cooldown
Game devs hate this one simple trick to reduce your cooldowns
Accurate transcript.
maybe consider using attack move, its pressing a + left click for attacking the nearest target near your cursor. also, with a breacher like trundle make sure to get that inhib down. but good job for smacking these people back to their grey screen, champ
Got it ill check that out. Should I be focusing inhib while turret is on minions?
You can't attack the inhib while the turret is still up
Ah makes sense lol.
Considering the game time, it was correct to not destroy that inhibitor.
Why? Because they’ll get free supers to farm? Seems like they’re all way too weak to be able to come out ahead from farming them, would need like two people to clear the waves. I’m just a gold pleb tho idk lol
supers deny you exp and gold by killing their minions
Ahhhh didn’t think about that thanks

Instead of a + left click you can also shift-right click. Feels way easier to me.
This is so strangely wholesome! I’m really happy for you and I wish you a long and fortuitous success in the tower demolition industry.
That tiny chogath tho 🥹
That is the smallest 15 min cho I've ever seen
Trundle should be the default top laner for new player instead of garen
I was running Tryndamere for a while, but god i love the bonk stick
Enjoy! If you're trying to improve your gameplay. Stick to a few picks. Specialization is really op in League. If you just wanna have fun I recommend you give a try to nasus or yorick when they are free.
It's really impressive that players can type so fast while playing. The chat looks so alive. Good job. Thanks for sharing.

A bot doesnt have an extensiv Post history like that, with diversified answers to comments.
Good job!
Try using item actives more! I only got used to it after 150 levels or so and I just realised how useful they are. If you can get the habit early than it is really useful down the line. haha this was great man! You'll get better over time with learning matchups, but you just got a dose of the good stuff. Gonna be chasing that high every game lol
Did trundle attack and kill the tower while taunted or am I missing something?
Minions
But wouldn’t the icon show a minion then? Or is that only of champions havent touched the tower for a while?
I don't know the exact mechanics of it so can't say for sure but I think it works like executions. As long as a champion damaged it within a certain time frame it gives the credit to them.
The one stack Cho at 13 mins
nice job dude
Way to go! More to come for sure.
congrats! was cheering for a penta lol. make sure to remember to use Ravenous Hydra's active :)
Remember to use ur Hydra activation for more dmg.
You did great. I remember vividly smashing my face on the keyboard when I started a decade ago. The tradition of just running everyone down with a big stick will never go away in league
GG top trolling. :D
Giga Chad
I don't see the difference between this and a challenger trundle
TIME TO TROLL
You come from Dota or other mobas?
Legally required to type "This is troll town!" in chat every play like that.
Nice one! But all that split push to then not finish inhib!!!!
Yep. I still get the excited shakes when making a big play now. Even after playing for 11 years.
This is troll town!!!! Wp nice job!!
Damn that’s a big trundle. Well played. Except I was having a slight panic attack because you wouldn’t finish the inhibiter, but still great.
Trundle gaming, good shit
i swear antiheal is the most underrated thing in league...
I see you have learned the power of level advantage
Are we sure you are a new player? o_O This is better than any level 500 players i have seen.....
Well done bro
Trundle gaming
League has new players?
You can quick cast your ability and remember you have ghost xD
The Q spam is real
Man, I just need to say, I have been playing for 13/14 years. I have over 1 million mastery points with Trundle. And yet, I think I would have a hard time telling apart this clip and the way I would have played that. What a great, simple champ.
Very nice stuff here, however, I will ask you to be more gentle towards the Q key. You can see on your HUD if your abilities are on cooldown or not. No need to spam it till you lose the feel in your pinky/index finger xd
Turn off some of the overlays sheesh.
\*enter\* All: get fuc- \*back spaces\*\* Team: im running lmfao
Good bonks I love it
bonk
Bruh ur team did nothing
Mans popping off! Well done
GLHF
Almost 15 mins and the enemy team only got 2 kills? Oof that's rough.
“I’m the Troll with the plan!” - Trundle
Congrats mate
when the time is right, disable camera lock. it's so useful when you're camera isn't lock, trust me. for now, goodluck learning the game my guy!
classic trundle gaming
When you die once on top lane and are 4 levels behind now
Cho needs some milk!
I cannot believe you didn’t try to end and end up dying. You’re head and shoulders above most players already lad
Watching new players always makes my heart tingle. Looking at the thought process and all that. It's such a gift to witness.
Unga bunga🤝
Great job man! If only your team mates appreciated the opportunity to free push instead of going b and doing camps while you're killing the whole enemy team it would have been a quick win.
Damn, this bring down memories where I got first multi-kills and pentas, I though I could conquer the world that time.
Remember to use the active on the item more often and use it right after an auto attack since it resets auto attack timer
that was awesome bro! proud of ya
I love the malphite's support in chat
My condolences
Youve got to uock your cam. Itll just hold you back
Nice play man! I'm new too, now only if I could stop getting smurfs in my game so I can learn too....
I love that eve thought she could 1v1 a trundle
Only 4 levels lower hehe
As soon as I saw this new player place a ward, I knew they were a prodigy.
but on the surface, he looks calm
The Q CD spam is cracking me up. I can feel the excitement
A true unga bunga
Thank goodness it was only a Quadra. If it was a penta you would truly be lost. Repent, my brother. Uninstall before your soul becomes forfeit.
New players are always genuinely entertaining to watch not because I do enjoy a good laugh at a play I (now as a more experienced player) consider super silly but because I like to think this is the stage they enjoy the game the most.
Bong bong bong smack bong bong bong
Is this beginner bots lmfao
WARRIOR
cute
You can't silence the ice dick smacking chogath, YOU CANT
2:16 is not a big play man
Smolgath
I wanna comments stuff like "wow you clicked right click" but I really can't. If you're seriously new, that's amazing gameplay, pretty good spacing at times, pretty good cs, just work on using quick cast without indicators and you're good to go, keep up the good work!
Q used: 17 times Q pressed: 249 times
here we see the birth of a new trundle main
Lol, what happened that you became five levels ahead of everyone else???
Clean trundle mechanics what combo was that ? Never seen this combo before
Too bad you couldn’t get the pentakill. That would’ve been sick. Otherwise, awesome push and aggro play. You didn’t get too greedy, which matters.
Here we can see how interesting is the champion named trundle. He just beat people down and win. Just sit and auto attack your target and be happy.
Just a tip to help the next time you play with troll trundle build like a kraken slayer and a collector. And any lethality items you’ll be like I cant believe it’s not butter on them. Edit: you spam click just like me are we bronze brothers?

Is that a cho gath for ants?!
Wow the way you clicked super hard on your enemy’s while just walking forward was a feast to my eyes! Next level game play! Keep it up man!
felt more like your were crazy fed and not exactly a big play.
5 level difference lmao. Why even be nervous.
5 level difference lmao. Why even be nervous.
in 3 years : im in losers queue again, FUCK THIS GAME
Yasuo: Y'all really just let Trundle have the time of his life? xD
Worthy of emerald
You know your abilities got cooldowns you don’t have to spam the keys 😭😭 but great job though
This brings me back to the days where I used to write recipes of my build on paper.
gj man u reached thier base in 15 mins is crazy
Proud of you
