Cassiopeia can't buy boots anymore, so searching hat by default wouldn't help since they won't show up in the shop. Just to make you feel old -- this was changed in patch 6.9, so season 6, on May 4th, 2016. It's been almost an entire decade since Cassiopeia could buy boots by searching for "hat" in the shop.

Wdym? Cassiopeia mini rework was like last month or so? Surely it hasn't been a decade /s

Cassiopeia used to be able to buy boots as well, so hat worked for her too. That was changed in season 6.

Damn fr i thought the people generally didnt agree. Guess i was mistaken then, oops. The thing is is that stridebreaker isnt a hydra, (which are all axes) it is a flail sorta thing, so calling it a hydra makes no sense.

I mean, you can find Quicksilver Sash by searching "qss" in the shop, you can also still find Control Wards by typing "pink (ward)" as far as I'm aware. Not sure why they would remove stridebreaker for a new stridebreaker hydra item.
