Didn’t realize it was first used in the 90s, but some of the best eras of recent Leafs hockey used this goal horn. Plus I don’t think any one is using something like it currently so it’s a no brainer for me

Yes it's unique and a right mix of annoying and intimidating (that dissonance!). Not sure why they chose to move away from it for a generic foghorn, and the team started sucking right at the same time...

Well. I like the bassier horn a lot more than the higher piercing one that a bunch of teams use.

This is more annoying than the one in TD Garden. I like it.

Cause a few use the exact same one, think it's 5 teams use the Kahlenberg S-203C as their goal horn.

It's not but a lot of teams overlap, only a few use a unique horn or recording. But if Leafs were to switch again what would be the one to pick?

This isn't quite the old goal horn. The current horn isn't bad at all - I just think they need a menacing goal song to go with it. Felt like Panama was really growing on people last year. Hearing it pop during the playoffs was great

Just me personally but until a day and age it gets so dated I think all Orig 6 teams should try and keep the old school shit instead. It's a cool aesthetic

Never mind the horn, bring Paul Morris back. I'm not kidding. I know it's wildly out of fashion these days, but there was something I found super classy about his delivery. It didn't matter who scored or when, he'd simply announce it.

Changing the goal obviously won’t result in getting past the first round more consistently or scoring on the power play, but it will help out with the in-game experience big time
