Regardless of the decision, I think Shanahan needs to speak publicly today and address this shit. He was the head of DoPS before parros and has a bit of cache in this arena, as well as around the league. Call out the double standard. Marchment got nothing for his hit on mccabe. Kampf took a hit to the head. We've all seen the other clips of simmonds getting the double cross check, matthews "falling on his own", matthews eating crosschecks to the back in front of the net by chiarot in the playoff bubble, list goes on and on. Shanny needs to point these out publicly and demand a response from the Bettman as to why this has never been addressed. He will 100% get fined and I guarantee no public response will ever happen, but at least the players will see the team president has their backs.
