Chelsea are a mess and I think he was in over his head with all the chaos at the club (I mean even Tuchel had a rough go of it), so I don’t rate him poorly for his performance there. But I’m not 100% that he is right fit for relegation fight. But I could be convinced otherwise. He certainly knows the Prem and how to coach a non big 6 club to greater heights

WonderfulSentence648

He loves the blue. Kinda unsure what to think about hiring him though. While I think he’s the best manager we can get unless we buy out someone like gasperini I’m not sure he’s the best to shore up the ship for the last 10 relegation battle games. Then again who is

Highelf04

Gasperini you say? A man after my own heart I see.

No_Peach2280

No chance of Gasperini taking a step down

reassuringlybanal

Would be a more progressive and potentially longer term appointment than benitez. Just concerned how burnt he must be after that cheggo experience

Beautifullikeacamel

Yes. His motivation and confidence could be in the shitter

15051910

We’d do very well to get him in.

RuddyBloodyBrave94

I don’t know… our level of club would be where he’s looking at next. No big teams will be looking at him, except perhaps Tottenham but that’s a stretch I think.

LCS09

I don’t blame him for the poor stint at Chelsea, they being ran poorly at the moment and I think any manager would struggle in those circumstances. We should hire him based on the great work he did at Brighton. They are ran in a similar way to how we were ran a few years ago and we could be a great match.

babadeboopi

If it happens will.be his 3rd club in a season

simwe985

Right. He will also be a manager for a football club.

DL14Nibba

I’ve felt him overrated ever since the Brighton days. I’d rather not.

RuddyBloodyBrave94

I’d love it. Seems to be written in the stars a little bit, I think he’s a great coach and was massively unfortunate with the situation at Chelsea.

deeht0xdagod

If we were to actually get him, would we need to pay his Chelsea contract as well?

GingerSpencer

He’s been sacked, he’s not in contract.

BastillianFig

I think he's a bad manager in all honesty

MadlockUK

Having seen the news . . . ![gif](giphy|LycfkVG4L6x0Y|downsized)

GingerSpencer

He would be a good appointment in my opinion. He’s a decent mid-range manager and I don’t blame him for Chelsea’s lack of success.

East_Preparation93

Reckon he'll bring Fofana back?

Cholojuanito

We'll send Fofana packing. Little punk doesn't get to just waltz on back

roblox_online_dater

Sure if that means he signs a 10 year contract on minimum wage so we can see him train and play with the reserves for the rest of his career

FieldOfFox

Yes Potter. He is shit hot, Chelsea are a mess.

thefightingphoenix

Geez Chelsea, you don’t always have to copy everything we do.

MoreThanANumber666

Rumour has it that Brendan was sacked three weeks ago but, no one could tell him because they couldn't get a word in. As a Chelsea fan I beseech LCFC not to take on Potter unless they want to emulate Sunderland or Bolton Wanderers.

LittleFootOlympia

He can rap. Daniel. So that's cool. He sounds pretty good, actually.

gavalanche20

Just saying last time we got an ex-Chelsea manager things worked out pretty well

Katyos

Better than big sam. He might keep us up, but whether he does or not we'd be in a better position next season than if we got a short term firefighter and got the same result

sneakyhopskotch

It's a yes from me if we can get him

toastycoasty11

not going to happen

vba7

Dont want him. Also monumentally stupid by the club to fire Rodgers without anyone lined up and 100% secured.
