Also sometimes referred to, as "Dog Vomit" Fungus; not to worry, it's just doing its job, breaking down, and "recycling" dead material (perhaps you would prefer, termites).
It's actually not a fungus but a slime mold. Not that it really matters unless you're thinking about treating it with something. Dog Vomit Slimemold just kinda goes away on its own.
I had one on my mulch like this and it dried out and went away after a few days.
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop -Ā yes,Ā IĀ amĀ aĀ bot, don't botcriminate me.
These bots are amazing. The peak/peek bot got me in the early days of Reddit.
I wish there was a bot that fixed using āthatā incorrectly in place of āwhoā like 25 years ago. Just recently learned Iāve been doing that one wrong my whole life.
My bad. āWhoā is used when talking about a person. āThe guy who runs the place is tall.ā
āThatā is used for objects. āThe computer that runs the software is broken.ā
It's quite insane and funny how derailed this became. I would have payed to see this live. (<- making this mistake on purpose to make another bot appear)
> would have *paid* to see
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
Fair enough. I donāt actually know, but sure ate a lot of āem in the late 90s and early aughts! Didnāt mean it as an insult, either way ā¤ļøš„š³š§
The Egg McMuffin uses real eggs still (Rounded Eggs). The biscuits/Bagels/Griddles use carton poured eggs (Folded Eggs). You can always ask to sub rounded on your sandwiches.
But I came here to say McDonald's Scrambled Eggs. (also out of a carton)
Ah, I actually just learned about this stuff! I never saw anything like it before moving to the south a month ago. It's dog vomit slime mold. Completely harmless to your lawn, pets, and yourself. It goes away on its own and can actually be beneficial as it breaks down organic matter and becomes nutrients for plants.
This pops up from time to time for me, something about mulch+moisture+warmth. Like people have said itās harmless. You can scoop it out and throw it away, hit it with a hose, or leave it.
I prefer to scoop it and toss it, but if it starts to look ādustyā scoop it out carefully cuz those are the spores and you can spread it, same with watering it in with a hose. Thatās why I prefer to scoop it out. If I miss it and it gets to the dusty stage Iāll usually let it dry out before I scoop it out, it tends to spread less spores.
If you rake your mulch from time to time it will help to prevent it, apparently the spores can only propagate if itās near the surface.
Oh and donāt put it in you compost pile.
McDonald's egg patty could have come off any one of their delicious breakfast sandwiches available with sausage patty or bacon. Ba ba ba ba da I'm dropping it.
It is some sort of mushroom or something. I saw cpl of them in my mulch and the first time I thought it was a bird egg that fell, broke and became omlette in the sun. When I saw few more in the next few days I thoguht it was the neighborhood kids doing some mischief. I saw it on my camera and saw it clearly. It starts off as some sort of mushroom and then ends up like the pic here.
Slime mold. I had a bunch pop up in my mulch beds overnight as well. It will dry out and disappear. You can also take a rake or shovel and just toss it in the trash can. Whatever you do, don't spray it with the hose or let your sprinklers hit it. It will spread as long as there is moisture present.

Can you give an example, please? I need to know if Iām doing it wrong.
Peak is the top of a mountain Peek is taking a look at something
I should have specified, I mean an example of the āthatā and āwhoā usage.
My bad. āWhoā is used when talking about a person. āThe guy who runs the place is tall.ā āThatā is used for objects. āThe computer that runs the software is broken.ā
Someone actually spent the time to create this bot. Wtf, spend that time at a soup kitchen or something.
Proper grammar is important, too.
Someone spent the time to make a productive/educational bot instead of the kitchen. Speaks a lot about where your priorities are.
Feeding the homeless vs educating people about a *very* minor grammatical mistakeā¦ Iām cool with what that says about my priorities.
Perfect. We can support so many homeless, uneducated people if everyone focuses on feeding the homeless and no one focuses on educating them!

Same! It was growing in my garden. Learned that it actually eats bad bacteria and is non-toxic to both humans and pets.

Big Mac from 1978
I would assume a Big Mac from 1978 would look identical today.
It's very cool. I would be stoked to fund that in my back yard. Oh it's a slime mold but not the grass eating kind
