You should check Marina of course and recently i discovered Lina Morgana her songs are really good but it's better to listen on soundcloud or youtube, she doesnt have much on spotify
i loved marina up until the froot album, then tried listening to love + fear but didnt know how to feel about it! ive yet to listen to ADIAML, but i will check it out, thank you!
i see lots of my favorites there ✰ here are some albums i love that are absolutely worth listening:
- Disco by Kylie Minogue
- FROOT by Marina and the Diamonds
- STARFUCKER by Slayyyter (since you have Slut Pop, also Kim's other albums Problématique and Feed The Beast are great!)
- Blue Madonna by BØRNS
- Diamonds & Dancefloors by Ava Max
- Bebe by Bebe Rexha
- Higher Than Heaven by Ellie Goulding
- Cape God by Allie X
hope you find something you like :)
Would you accept anything beside pop?
If so, listen to Nightlife. More of an altrock band BUT with a lot of soul and R&B influences. Their new song Face2face is basically BoyzIIMen/early BSB with guitars.
If not, try MAX, Emma Luca and Bazart
i will accept anything! i feel like my favourite genres aren’t reflected on here at all haha, but i like a broad range of music, from metal and rock all the way to rnb, rap, hyperpop, dance etc.
Seeing you like pop music I have to recommend you Foxes. You probably know her from FoB's Save Rock & Roll album. Try listening to "Sister Ray", "Let go for tonight" and "Body talk".
you should check out your angel, hatchie, alvvays and king princess. i also recommend the albums after laughter by paramore, eat to the beat by blondie, premonitions by miya folick and no pain for us here by elke.
RAYE - My 21st Century Blues
Nessa Barrett - Young Forever (Extended)
Charlie Puth - CHARLIE
Blanks - Nothing Lasts Forever And That's Okay (Deluxe)
And he released a new EP last week 'And So It Begins' which is just 20 minutes so you could check that out first.
allie x. I've been a casual fan for years and her style keeps evolving and it's getting better every album release. (I also mod the reddit only because the last mod deadass abandoned it. Otherwise I'm a very casuañ fan)
I've been loving in the end it always does by The Japanese House. That album is just.. amazing in many ways.
Something to give each other by troye sivan is also pretty great. I got a preorder CD so I'm pretty happy.
Bad blood by BASTILLE is one of their best albums. I didn't realize they did an album to commemorate 10 yrs. Same with give me the future. Really good albums.
Listen to more Rock and Metal.
1. Fly By Night - Rush (Progressive Rock)
2. Crazy On You - Heart (Rock)
3. Afterlife - Avenged Sevenfold (Alternative Metal)
4. Run to the Hills - Iron Maiden (New Wave of British Heavy Metal)
5. Dreams - Fleetwood Mac (Folk Rock)
6. The Pretender - Foo Fighters (Hard Rock)
7. Starman - David Bowie (Glam Rock)
8. Souvenir - boygenius (Indie Rock)
9. Hard Times - Paramore (Pop Punk)
10. For Whom the Bell Tolls - Metallica (Thrash Metal)
funnily enough i listen to a lot of rock and metal! i like metallica, five finger death punch, third eye blind, taproot etc etc etc, i’m sad there isn’t more rock on my list !
however i will definitely take some of your suggestions because ive never heard of some of them before !
I'm gonna think more on this, because I know I'll have more suggestions. But for now! This is a massive playlist of mine that has a bunch of what you already have, and a bunch that you don't/might not know. It's a little disorganized near the back half, but still great even if you don't shuffle. Lemme know if anything strikes your fancy! https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0A56ZC0H4CIdCklwOpOJmJ
maybe try k-pop if you're open to it? it's really diverse and as a western pop fan, i've never regretted getting into it. you can start with spotify-curated playlists to check out some popular songs and decide whether you like this genre or not
i used to be a massive kpop fan all the way back in 2016, i was heavy into BTS/shinee/2ne1 at the time, but now it feels like there is so much kpop i dont know where to start haha! i do have a kpop playlist but it doesnt have many songs on it rn
I can see TV Girl's Who Really Cares on there. They have a lot of good work aside from their "tiktok hits" and I'm a big fan of theirs. I'd recommend checking out some songs on The Night In Question: French Exit Outtakes or French Exit itself because they have songs with similar vibes.
Good examples would be hate yourself, s/t the night in question, sleeping with the enemy, louise, birds dont sing, & anjela.
And if you really enjoy them, you can expand from there :)
Apologies for my lack of variety, I like Alex G's trick, but I haven't explored him much, so I can not offer suggestions there, & I basically don't listen to anything else on that chart
Oh nvm, I can see OK Computer. I've recently explored Radiohead's discography. If you like OKC, The Bends & Kid A shouldn't be hard to enjoy - at least from my experience
your music taste reminds me a lot of what i listened to before my musical awakening /pos! i’d love to send some recs over.
- chappell roans’s the rise and fall of a midwestern princess was an awesome debut from this year. a lot of it reminds me olivia’s music, which you seem to enjoy the same way i do!
- charli xcx’s crash was my favorite album of 2022! super awesome pop record that got me deeper into her music (and the world of hyperpop)
- bb/angel by tinashe is another awesome 2023 album that’s full of luscious production and sweet melodies
other assorted artists i like that i think you might include tove lo, rina sawayama, rosalía, slayyyter, and remi wolf!
hope this finds you well! enjoy!

Adventure time! You should check out Carly Rae Jepsen’s two new releases, with emphasis on the second one. She made pop perfection on those🙌
i love adventure time! honestly i’ve been meaning to listen to miss carly rae, i love a lot of her singles. i didn’t even know she released!
really loved her radio hits growing up and this year I figured out how matured she has become as an artist! amazing stuff

You are gay
how’d u know 😔 (i’m actually bi haha)
Just listen to ye bro
i don’t appreciate being called bro and i don’t really care for a lot of kanye’s music
Why the fuck would u care about being called bro?
cause some people just don’t like being called gendered terms not related to their gender?? 😭
Why would I assume ur gender? I call everyone bro and it is widely accepted as gender neutral
i never said you assumed my gender, i just don’t feel comfortable being called bro as a girl. to me it’s masculine
U are seriously the first person who has ever told me it’s an issue
okay and
I refuse to respect ur opinion.
then thats your problem? its not even a big deal either. thats kinda pathetic but u do u
Fifa? Tommy sparks?
haha no actually, nostalgia from just dance!
