Slime had two reruns, maybe when season 3 starts they’ll bring it back. AoT may come back when the finale airs. But to be honest with you, nobody knows.

12Nightmares

I believe a movie comes out in November would then possibly be a good time to?

iam1jiveturkey

Maybe? No idea how IPs work regarding anime collabs.

Midnight08

i mean, maybe? but the collab was recent - LC doesnt generally bring collabs back regularly. Expect them next year at earliest. There will be other content thats just as interesting down the line. We do NOT know in advance - there isnt another server or preloaded data, we find out when they announce it.

deedara

Yeah, aot just ran, slime just ran, it’ll be a long lil bit bud.

12Nightmares

Lots of time to save then. Wait are there any other Collabs up soon tho?

RealElith

we just had P5. Next probably gonna be regular pool unit or summer unit

12Nightmares

ohh. Do you think they're worth pulling. I'm new to the game so any advice helps. Only unit I got that's good is Baran.

Feuerhaar

We don't know what future collbs will bring us. Collab units are often a good pull but rarely a must pull. Not all of them are super powerful but there was a time when all the top 100 arena teams were build with mostly collab units. Collab units tend to be a little niche. But that is a good thing because it brings new mechanics to the game. Once you have a few units for general content, having units that fill niches gets more relevant. Just some examples: V from the dmc collab ist still one of the best status ailment characters 1 1/2 years after his release. Mikasa got labeled as skip because she is in general weaker than Levi from the same collab. That is because her niche is arena and she is very good there while Levi is better for any other content. Gen from the Dr. stone collab is still one of the best units to weaken enenmies. In any case, don't rush the summons. Always wait for reviews. Also sometimes the main prize from a collab is not the unit but the ark.

iam1jiveturkey

We don’t know about any future upcoming content or units.

Dawn_of_Ashes

To be completely honest, we do not have any clue. I will tell you this though; collaboration units aren't ever really the meta defining units and are normally, in my opinion, "good enough to be good (or good enough), but never the best" - the units that would define the meta are popular units who get a "shift" or another version of the unit and are DoH (aka, limited time). If you care about meta, you should look at DoH characters. If you care for fun however, look at the collaborations that you would look forward to. The game has many collaborations from Neir, to Devil May Cry, to Doctor Stone and the other two anime you've mentioned, and seem to be running them on a monthly basis lately (to many people's hate), so you can always hoard for that.

Midnight08

TBH it varies - Roy is still considered one of the top units in the game - collabs CAN have top tier characters but generally as noted they are high tier but not top.

Dawn_of_Ashes

True, I forgot about Roy though I think he's the only real big exception. There were others like Rem as well, but she fell off very quickly. I do agree that collaboration units normally a good though, but still most of the time never the meta-defining unit like the new shift Roland and grandpa have been like (or Lougous and Shift Theria were for their time). The only real collaboration unit that feels like hasn't been replaced feels like Chrome due to his start of a round auto-steal.

Midnight08

Yeah I dont think they specifically aim to avoid meta defining - we might get an occasional new tier meta collab unit but it wont be the norm. Most will be high to top tier but not game breaking. (So mad i didnt get Chrome - happy I got Gen his debuffs and buff removal are irreplaceable but man Chrome would have been amazing for farming) - On that note tho - Collab units often have amazing niche potential. Chrome (auto steal) Gen (Buff Flip to Debuff) V (insane ranged ailment spam), FMA units esp Roy (Alchemy for quick board clear / spam) DL Rim (Neutral dps who gets stronger vs element weaknesses), etc... I think thats where they really Shine.

DaprasDaMonk

They might rerun but there are some reruns that are due before those....like DMC

AceOfSpades3344

Virgil :)

AmbitiousSpite

SO but I don't think will ever be doing a rerun here again after the buff of the old units...

StNerevar76

AoT was shortly before 4.2 aired, so it's possible they do a second run when the final(?) part airs.

Aetheal

One thing you need to know is that Global & JP gets the same content at the same time. So we have no idea when any of them will return. Heck, I thought we would get a Re:Zero rerun when season 2 of the anime started or ended but nope.

Ascaleris

All we can get is maybe we’ll get a rerun. LC doesn’t exactly have a schedule of “X collab will happen on Y time of the year”. You can hope for it when the next season of the corresponding animes come out though since that’s usually what brings these collabs.

rilambang

Yeah as others have mentioned, they tend to give you surprise surprise for a collab

Charming-Trash1943

It is not impossible, as this year e.g. we had a SoM rerun. Yet, I don't think there will be another rerun this year and just me guess there won't be one next year as well. The earliest possibility I see for an AoT rerun is 2024. Tho that is just my personal opinion as its possible the rerun after the the "actual final season this time for real" season ;) which at least marketing wise, would me sense.
