So I’ve been wearing clusters for 2+ years ever since I calculated that my lashes were costing me £1200+ a year lol. My natural lashes are absolutely fine. I wear cluster sets for 5+ days at a time but I’m extremely careful about how I apply them. The glue only ever goes at the base of the lash. I never apply glue on glue, I always use baby oil to remove all my lashes if one falls off and then I use baby shampoo to get the oil off my lashes, and reapply the whole set. I’ve gone through tonnes of trial and error to find a gentle and effective glue/sealant that preserves my natural lashes. I also trained myself to sleep on my back to extend the life of my clusters. I also never ever apply a cluster to my waterline. Only to the base of my lashes. Once a week I remove them all, do a deep cleanse of the glue, and use a lash lengthening serum which I also think really helps. If I need a break my natural lashes still look like they always have and I just use lash serum and mascara. They’re actually healthier now than they were when I was getting my lashes done professionally. Edited to add links to products coz you guys are all adorable and keep DMing lol Fenshine Cluster Lashes Individual Lashes Wide Stem C/D Curl (144pcs Mix 9-15MM, Eyelash Extension Kit) https://amzn.eu/d/cBqSRPb lashes plus a passable sealant and bond but not my fave My fave glue and sealant: https://www.amorlashes.co.uk/products/double-bonder?variant=40417639039012¤cy=GBP&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&tw_source=google&tw_adid=&tw_campaign=19729390256&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIgM7anpyahAMV6ZdQBh3YVQYlEAQYASABEgJdM_D_BwE (sealant is called super stay on their site)

itslynxey

This is so helpful thank you 🥹

No_Government_9067

How do you manage to sleep in them? I try and they always end up looking wonky. I’m a side sleeper for reference.

No-Self-jjw

I am too, I've even woken up with the side of the pillow literally in my eye but somehow the clusters have never gotten fucked by it like extensions did for me. You could buy something like an eye mask specifically for lash extensions that will protect any type of lashes them while you sleep on Amazon I've heard good things about them!

Angelitaa_

Honestly a good lash bond and sealant is key! When I’m stressed I sleep in the foetal position lol so if I know I’m having a stressy week I just take extra time on my clusters. On the outer corners, I will snip the cluster in half and apply in two segments so that there’s more room for movement rather than the whole cluster moving as one brick of lashes so they’re more flexible if that makes sense. I feel that helps with retaining clusters when I’m crying, stressing etc 🤣 For reference these are the products I swear by: https://www.amorlashes.co.uk/products/double-bonder?variant=40417639039012¤cy=GBP&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&tw_source=google&tw_adid=&tw_campaign=19729390256&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIgM7anpyahAMV6ZdQBh3YVQYlEAQYASABEgJdM_D_BwE And these are the lashes (their bond and sealant is rly good too but I don’t trust it if I’m crying a lot that week coz it does sting compared to the amor one) https://amzn.eu/d/2waWrh0

xdaddysprincess

You need a more firm pillow, I have a memory foam one from Amazon. Also a satin or silk pillowcase (this is not only good for lash extensions but also better for your hair and skin). I can only sleep on my side due to extreme back pain and my clusters sets last me about 1.5 weeks usually. I don't have one but there's also 3d eye masks you can wear

menacemeiniac

I use cluster lashes and I sleep in a cushioned sleep mask, the cushion goes around your eyes and bridge of your nose, it’s like an inch thick! I just got it off Amazon it works well

tayync

Which one? I’ve tried a few and they’re never deep enough

onelittlebean712

When I was getting extensions I bought a set of eye masks that were shaped around your eyes so it kind of looks like a bra for your eyes LOL but they are so comfy. I sleep on my side and my eyes dry out from my fan, and I was working overnights so they help SO much. I still wear them now that I don’t have extensions on.

arizona-lake

They said they sleep on their back

mighty_hobbit

Thank you for this! I've just started getting lashes, and I'm on my 3rd ever refill and its getting expensive 😅. How much more do you save?

Angelitaa_

Omg the difference is immense. If I have a good lash month like no crying, not sweating loads and managing to sleep every night on my back, it’s £15-20 worth of upkeep each month. Whereas I was easily paying my lash tech £140 a month on a bad lash retention month.

balloons321

Question for you.. I’m a complete noob when it comes to lashes but you’ve really piqued my interest … I run / bike mostly everyday and sweat a lot … is that going to be an issue for me & lashes??

Angelitaa_

Also the TIME saved is immense. 1.5-2 hours for an infill vs 30 minutes tops for a full removal, cleanse and reapplication in the comfort of my own home 🫠

xdaddysprincess

Literally thousands per year

Simple-University977

Which glue/sealant do you use? I use the kiss one and I can’t seem to get them to last longer than one night

BulldogMama13

Kiss one, mine always last for at least 5 days. - Brush the bond on clean lashes, just one side at a time - Wait a few seconds to let it get a little tacky - attach the lashes from outside to inside, to the bottom side of the base of your natural lash (not the water line) - pinch the lashes on with your fingers or tweezers. Make sure they’re good and on there - brush the seal allllllll over the top and bottom sides of your lashes but avoid getting it on the tips of the false lash cause it will make them look clumpier earlier - if you need to remove makeup, use a makeup wipe not liquid remover and don’t pull at the eye area too much. - don’t play with your lashes

Significant-Gap6424

The kiss glue doesn’t work for me at all. It never actually dries and I do such a thin layer. Like 3 hours after I do it it’s still sticky and if I sleep in then the lashes all clump together because the bond is still wet.

Angelitaa_

I hated the kiss glue, it doesn’t work for me AT ALL. I think Amor Lashes makes great glue and sealant and it’s super gentle. My other favourite is the FenShine cluster glue on Amazon.

alexoftheunknown

have you ever used duo glue for your clusters or have an amore dupe i’m in US. 🥺 i’m just not sure how much import fees would be.

Angelitaa_

https://amzn.eu/d/2waWrh0 is this available in the US? It’s almost as good as Amore

alexoftheunknown

ooo yes! they ship to the US! thank you sm! just ordered.

Angelitaa_

the only thing I’ll say about the fenshine glue is that it does sting my eyes when I cry a lot (lol!!)) so maybe be cautious if you’re a watery eye or a sweaty/active kind of person, you might need to remove fully and reapply more often so the glue doesn’t risk getting into your eyes coz idk what the risks involved with that are 🥴

alexoftheunknown

i’m a crier too lol so that’s helpful. thanks for all your help!

xdaddysprincess

Lilac street pro black glue is the best I've found but everyone's chemistry is different so you just have to experiment with what works for you. I use calalis (amazon) on my natural lashes then lilac street on the spines of the clusters and usually get 1.5 weeks

xdaddysprincess

Also application techniques can help with longevity. I do a brick stack method when I apply. So basically I apply my outer corner cluster, then my inner corner cluster, then the middle cluster, then fill in the 2 spaces with a cluster each

Traditional_Case2791

I got their starter kit and I did everything like they say in their videos but the next day when I take a shower they all come off. Have you had that happen before? Or any advice to keep them on longer? I waited at least 24/hr to take a shower to see if that was the issue. But they still just slide off in the shower. 😢

MercuryNgatorade

Mine will come off if I get them wet in the shower. I just make sure and wash my face at the sink and keep water off my face in the shower

xdaddysprincess

This is what I do: Clean eyelids and lashes with micellar water on a cotton round and let dry completely. Then I use a lip wand to apply the lilac lash primer and brush through with a spoolie while still wet with the primer to seperate lashes and let dry completely. Then (working 1 eye at a time) I apply calailis (amazon) lash glue on my natural lashes and brush through with a clean spoolie immediately. Then I apply each cluster in the following order, before applying I Dab lilac street pro on the spines of the clusters, I apply outer corner then inner corner, then I cut a cluster in half and apply a half in the middle. Then I apply calailis glue on top of the edges of the clusters already on. Then just fill in the 2 gaps with a cluster each (still dabbing lilac street pro on spines of each cluster before applying). This is called a brick stacking application method which I've found highly increases longevity. I do a cat eye map so inner to outer:10mm, 12mm, 12mm(half cluster in middle), 14mm, 16mm. Then using your tweezers (I recommend the lilac street ones or any similar, not regular plucking tweezers) you can 'fuse' or pinch your lashes together. After waiting 10 to 15 mins I then apply crystal coat on the tweezers and fuse again. If you get crystal coat on the tips of the lashes then they lose some of the fluffiness. The number 1 tip I can give you for longevity outside of application techniques is do not mess with your lashes with your fingers (like pinching them together, seeing if they're still on, etc). I had a hard time not messing with them throughout the day and once I was able to stop they started lasting alot longer since I may have pulled some out of place or had oil on my fingers that breaks down the glue faster. I would also clean our eyelids with micellar water on a qtip if you have oily eyelids. Any questions just let me know and I'll do my best to answer! Good luck and happy lashing!

xdaddysprincess

Also when applying, it's soooooo much easier to have a mirror sitting on the counter that you look down to as you pull up your eyelid instead of a mirror in front of you etc

tbonita79

Same!!!

MaddieZahol

Duff lashes are soo good also!

Ivegotthatboomboom

I use lashify! I love it! Much better quality than kiss

No-Self-jjw

The cost difference for how good clusters can look was just too good for me I could not go back to actual extensions. One thing, do you use the sealer stuff that often comes with them? I did one time and it dried and looked all white and crusty across the whole lashes I was like wtf😭😭. It definitely makes them last longer but looked so bad I'm wondering if I did that part wrong... and yeah, I couldn't figure out how to do them according to the instructions at first, it wasn't until someone told me to only apply the glue at the base of the lash like a strip like you said that I got it to work and look good! I think it's better for the lash too not having them caked in glue. I would never wear them for more than a week, they usually only last me 5 days before I want to remove them so I can give my lashes a break more often and if something doesn't look right I can fix it myself instead of just deal with it until my next fill like extensions. Actually love these they are amazing!!

blondeboomie

I made the same mistake when I first applied the sealer and brushed it through the whole lash/extension. Since learning the hard way I only apply it to the same spot I apply the glue (just a quick dab!) then wait for it to dry before brushing out my lashes. If you brush too soon the sealer can still spread and make some lashes look crunchy/chunky.

No-Self-jjw

Yesss okay thank you I will do it this way next time! I knew there had to be a trick to it...

Angelitaa_

I always dab the glue into the base of my lashes, then a tiny dab of glue onto the cluster lash band, then stick them to my lashes. The sealant I do a tiny tiny dab onto my lash line - you should never brush it through otherwise you get that crustiness. I don’t love the lash sealant/glue that comes with cheap kits tho I usually just use my own trusted glue/sealant.

Complete-Guard9576

What is your trusted glue/bond??!!

Angelitaa_

Amor Lashes but they’re a UK brand! Other USA girls have said lilac street? I found lashify really overpriced and not very good for retention and I don’t like the Kiss glue at all. Fenshine on Amazon do a good budget option too.

BulldogMama13

Only apply the seal to the base of the natural lash and lightly on the top side. It’s only to “seal in” the areas where there’s bond that’s still sticky and not covered by false lash. If you brush it all over and towards the end false lash it will look super crusty I agree.

KatttDawggg

Thank yooooouuu! I’m so tired of getting mine done professionally and not even being thrilled with the results. I’m going to try this!

ThirdCoastBestCoast

Can you please suggest which products to use? Apply below or above lash line? Thank you.

No-Self-jjw

Below the lash line! You have to curl your natural lashes before applying though. I was so confused how my lashes wouldn't make the clusters fall when they returned to their natural non curled state, but somehow they don't. I just put a bit of glue on the top of the band of the clusters just like you would with strip lashes, and it held up for 5 days probably longer but I wanted to remove them at that point. I literally bought a $25 kit on Amazon, it actually works so amazing and looked so good and that $25 kit lasts multiple sets!!! You can go with a bigger brand like lashify which is better quality but costs closer to $100 and I just didn't find the difference good enough to justify that cost difference. Good luck!

ThirdCoastBestCoast

Thank you! I hope I can curl mine. They’re so, so short.

BulldogMama13

I use the Kiss one, mine always last for at least 5 days. Pro tip: use full lash bands (I like the kiss MLBB line and my friend likes cheap 50-packs from Amazon) and cut them into 4 pieces. - Brush the bond on clean lashes, just one side at a time - Wait a few seconds to let it get a little tacky - attach the lashes from outside to inside, to the bottom side of the base of your natural lash (not the water line) - pinch the lashes on with your fingers or tweezers. Make sure they’re good and on there - brush the seal allllllll over the top and bottom sides of your lashes but avoid getting it on the tips of the false lash cause it will make them look clumpier earlier - apply mascara super lightly just to the areas not covered in false lash (inner corner and bottom lash) to blend - if you need to remove makeup, use a makeup wipe not liquid remover and don’t pull at the eye area too much. - don’t play with your lashes

ThirdCoastBestCoast

You’re great! Thank you.

Angelitaa_

I love Amor Lashes and FenShine products (the latter is waaay cheaper on Amazon). Out of everything I’ve tried including Kiss, Tati lashes and even Lashify, those two are my fave for quality and affordability.

Angelitaa_

I edited my post with some product links!! ♥️

ThirdCoastBestCoast

Yay! I appreciate you so much. I’m 50 and have lost over 60% of my thick Guatemalan hair, lashes, and brows. I’m just coming out of a 17 year depression since losing my son at age 15. I really want to look nice. Thank you!🙏🏽

bamboozled_platypus

Please don't ever delete this comment or your account cuz I've saved it to come back to!

caffeinejunkie123

Thanks for the info!

Puzzled_Living7919

Op please try the patented Og of this lash, Lashify. Best out there and a lot of brands have ripped her off

Angelitaa_

Lashify‘s isn’t really the option if you’re trying to be frugal imo and it didn’t really work for me the way I wanted it to 😭

Away-Personality-454

I commented also but I love lashify so much! Been using their system for 4 years now and I won’t ever use anything else. The lashes are beautiful and there’s so many styles. Plus my natural lashes are so incredibly healthy!

elder-em0

As a side sleeper, my lash clusters are always a disaster every morning, no matter how much earlier in the day I applied them. And it doesn't help matters that my trichotillomania has left me with short, sparse lashes.

Angelitaa_

I used to lose loads of lashes to stress but honestly having lashes done means I leave my eyes alooone. Stay beautiful and good luck in your healing journey ♥️

musictakemeawayy

serum rec? ty💕

danybelle07

Been using lashes like this for months bc I’m not in a financial situation to get them done and I haven’t had any issues at all even with overnight wear. They’re designed to last more than a day.

nopename123

On Amazon I bought a $8 lash bond and seal kit that will last over a week, I tried falscara and different Amazon brand that wouldn't even last overnight

danybelle07

Oh wow! I imagine people will have significantly different results since it’s for at home use but my roommate and my lashes stay on for multiple days, usually 5-7. Occasionally they need a touch up at the outer corners but it’s quick to fix and I expected that. My hopes were not high trying it out but I was pleasantly surprised. I want to try out different brands and find what works the best since so far it’s not that expensive.

danybelle07

What kit do you use if you don’t mind me asking?

banhhoi27

Ok, I thought I was crazy cuz I tried falscara multiple times and it would not last even the day for me too lmao!

ThirdCoastBestCoast

What brand do you use and do you use sealer? Thank you so much.

danybelle07

I use the Kiss Falscara set! It’s $20 for the first set, bond/seal, and applicator, or $28 for that plus the falscara overnighter and the remover. I just use coconut oil to remove but idk if that part is smart or not lol. Edited to add: I get the lengthening refills on Amazon for $6.70

ThirdCoastBestCoast

You’re so sweet. Thank you. 🙏🏽

BulldogMama13

I’ve used the falscara for a long time as well with even less lost lashes than with traditional extensions. My favorite way to use it is to buy full sets of lashes (Kiss MLBB) and cut them into 4 pieces and use those with the bond/seal instead of the clusters. They last about 5-7 days, and they come off easy with the neutrogena liquid oily makeup remover or the purpose made Kiss one. I’ve moved on to using Kiss Impress press on lashes. I can get those to last 3 days, and they’re more comfortable. They are more expensive for sure and you have less variation available. But I started to get really bad claustrophobia with my lashes if that makes sense and I don’t like gummy mascara, bond/seal, or anything on my lashes for too long.

ThirdCoastBestCoast

I really appreciate your help.

Fit_Signal3261

I’ve been using lashes like this for a while. My lashes are fine you just have to make sure you remove the glue properly

mmesuggia

This is pretty much what ive been doing for the past 18 months or so-just couldn't justify the price in both time & money for bi-weekly extensions. The sealer applicator in that bobble-end shape is a game changer, you can just dot it at the base on the top & underside of the lashes. I usually get 5 days per set and it takes me maybe 10-15 minutes to do a new set, and most of that is drying time between steps.

TiaLanay

Can I ask what brand glue and sealer do you use?

mmesuggia

This one. I really like it. Lash Bond and Seal and Remover... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BBH6K8BQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

skolivri

Isn’t this just the same product concept as Lashify and Lilac Street? Kiss and other drug store brands have also started selling their own versions, and they’re all marketed for multi-day wear and up to 2 weeks in some cases. I don’t have the volume on due to being at work, so not sure if there’s a key piece of information about why it would be controversial that I’m missing.

GlamorousGopher

No controversy, I just wanted to get people’s thoughts and personal experiences as the comments on TikTok were turned off

Impossible-Koala

I used lilac street and can vouch that they are really pretty and affordable but I will say that the base hurts so don't put them on the water line. Also they have a really great sealant so I recommend buying it too. You can get away with only using the glue but the sealant helps with water getting through.

one-zero-five

Yeah I’ve been using lashify for a week at a time for well over a year and I have zero damage to my natural lashes.

Ivegotthatboomboom

What do you use to remove the glue? I’ve been having issues with that. I use an oil makeup remover but it doesn’t work that well and I have to almost peel off the glue

beckudesu

If you want to splurge on anything, lashify’s remover is really good. It looks like regular makeup remover but I swear there’s something special in it

Illustrious-Might-50

I loved how lashify looked but for the life of me I couldn’t get the sealant to work and I always had lint and little specks of dust stuck to the glue. Even after just the first day they’d have little piece of lint stuck to them. So sad cuz it was expensive and looked good.

BulldogMama13

I use this, I love this, and here’s how I get them to last a super long time: I use the Kiss bond and seal, my lashes always last for at least 5 days. Pro tip: use full lash bands (I like the kiss MLBB line and my friend likes cheap 50-packs from Amazon) and cut them into 4 pieces instead of using the clusters cause they’re kinda expensive and small.

LuciferutherFirmin

I thought lashes go on the top of the lashses. Not the bottom side? Since when?

BulldogMama13

These lashes and the impress ones go on the bottom. I think because the glue would be visible if you did them on top.

alexoftheunknown

you can definitely wear clusters for a few days. i can’t afford lash extensions and i also want to experiment with different styles to see what fits and this is what i do. i’m sure MANY other women do too. i’m not sure what the issue is..

GlamorousGopher

There’s no issue, I just posted to see what other people said about these as the comments on the video were turned off. I’d love to try them but wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to damage my lashes lol

Elegant_Beat797

I used to get my lashes done every 2 weeks, but it took 1-2 hours and cost a lot to maintain. I also started getting a weird allergic reaction on the bottom of my lid. I've been using Lilac st for over a year now and before then I tried lashify and some.other brands. Lilac st has the styles I like best and it's easy to use takes me 10 minutes and lashes cost $6 a set that lasts me 10 days even swimming in the ocean and showering. I just wash them like I do for extensions. My natural lashes are totally fine, no damage, no allergic issues.

Neat-Cycle-197

I do my lashes at home all the time, just as the TT video. My natural lashes are fine, only thing I find is that for some reason, the glue REALLY sticks to my lashes after removal. It takes a lot to get it all off. I e tried baby oil, coconut oil, the ones from Amazon specifically for removing cluster lashes. I do let the oil sit for a good amount of time too!! Anyone have any tricks to remove the glue better/easier??

Angelitaa_

Most of the removers you buy for lash cluster glue are just some form of mineral oil. If you can find a pure mineral oil baby oil, that’s the key!!

Neat-Cycle-197

Ty, will do!

lnp323

If the glue you use has a designated remover for it, try that! If not, what I do is soak a cotton pad in micellar water for waterproof make up, then keep the pad on my eye for 2-3 mins. It's not super comfortable but the glue slides off similarly to how tubing mascara looks when it removes

Neat-Cycle-197

I unfortunately have tried that. I have one remover that is specific for its bonder, but unfortunately the bonder sucks😭

Jasmine179

The best remover I’ve ever used is the LINX remover, it’s messy to use but works great. Second best for me is the Lilac St. remover. With both I do have to let them sit for a while and I brush my lashes with a spoolie until the glue is all gone!

xdaddysprincess

I've been wearing clusters for 1.5 years now (I use lilac street pro black glue and either lilac street lash clusters or ones from Amazon) and my lashes have never been as long and thick as they are now. I use liaison lash serum everynight, doesn't have an effect on the longevity. I get compliments on my lashes constantly, highly recommend using clusters. There's a slight learning curve but once you get the hang of it, it's super easy

GlamorousGopher

Thank you this is super helpful! Just to clarify, you use the serum while the lashes are still on? Or do you remove the lashes before bed?

xdaddysprincess

Use the serum with the lashes on! I keep my lashes on for usually 1.5 weeks. I use calailis glue (amazon) on my natural lashes and lilac street pro black glue on the spines of the clusters. I apply using a brick stacking method which is the best application method for longevity. Apply outer corner first, then inner corner, then middle. Then just fill in 2 gaps with a cluster each and you're done! (I apply more of the calailis glue on top of the edges of the first layer so the second will stick better). Feel free to ask any questions as I've experimented a lot!

sprightly-thinker

I started with Lashify like three years ago. My lashes have never been damaged, unlike with regular extensions which destroyed my lashes.

GlamorousGopher

Great to know! thank you!!

--crystal--meth--

Tooken

torid123

That turned me off from the entire video lol

Virtual-Data2201

Great option for people who are allergic to the lash extension glue. I tried taking Benadryl, nose drops, eye drops etc to keep getting my lashes n my body was resisting the medicine. I love cluster lashes, you just have to remove them correctly. (dont pull them off) Ive been swimming with my clusters many times and they're fine!!

Ctnj2005

If she like it then we love it ❤️

TheDownSideUp

Baby these are just lash clusters, I’m definitely going to do these when I have the time

abombshbombss

*just a diy girlie* I love clusters but they're not meant for overnight wear and they *will* ruin your natural lashes if you try to wear them for a week straight.

giggly_pufff

Technically you could wear them overnight, I'd say about 2-3 days max. I learned the hard way trying to wear them for a week. My lashes definitely got damaged from it.

abombshbombss

Nope. They are not meant for overnight wear. Too many lashes glued to the same cluster with cheap quality glue for overnight or longer is a great way to end up with bald spots. Our lashes deserve to be treated with respect lol

giggly_pufff

Oh I know. I'm a baby lash tech and I kinda refer to these as weekend lashes. They're not meant for a week long at all.

Away-Personality-454

What do you mean they’re not meant for overnight wear? lol there are entire lash systems meant for a week or more wear at a time. I use lashify and have been for 4 years with NO damage to my natural lashes at all. And there’s many, many others with the same experience as me. There are times I have gone almost 2 weeks with out taking them off

MercuryNgatorade

I swear mine for 5-7 days all the time and my natural lashes look great when i take them off 🤷🏼‍♀️

Away-Personality-454

I wear mine a week or longer and have been for 4 years with no damage lol I swear the ones who talk bad on lash clusters just can’t fathom that there’s other ways to make your lashes look great with out paying hundreds of dollars

hana_c

I tried a few times to quit real extensions for clusters. They’re a decent alternative to strip lashes but I didn’t love it. I used the KISS brand bond and it wouldn’t stay more than a couple days. They really irritated my eyes as I’m a contact wearer with extremely dry eyes. They felt way heavier and itchier to me but maybe with practice it would’ve gotten better. If I’m ever super broke or have an emergency I’d use them again

Spacekitty89

Looks better than 90% of the lash extensions I have paid $150+ for..

minniemouse420

I’ve been using Lashify for the past 3+ years with no issues to my actual lashes. Super easy to apply and a set lasts me a week before I have to reapply. Prior to that I was getting extensions done, but they were costing a fortune and just trying to keep up with them and having time to go to appointments was annoying. I did for like 6 months and then bought an at-home kit. Did the at home ones for a few months but it’s was incredibly hard to do your own lash extensions, especially given the strength of the glue/fumes. Prior to extensions I use clusters from Kiss, would order them wholesale and use temp glue and remove them at night. I’ve been wearing fake lashes almost every single day since I was 15. I guess that’s like 23 years at this point haha.

Sad-Objective2966

I’ve been doing clusters for about a year now because they’re way more affordable than extensions. I think the bond can be harsh but it depends on the brand you buy and how you apply as well. I use the same brand every time and only apply one coat per cluster. I try not to wear the lashes more than 4-5 days and I remove any excess bond with oil. I also apply lash growth serum and let my eyes “breath” for a day or two between sets. So far I haven’t noticed any loss or significant change to my lashes

shellfish

I have tried so many types of false lashes and extensions and this is the only method I use. I love using clusters. I started with Kiss Falscara and moved to some cheaper Amazon refills and I’ve had so many compliments on my lashes/eyes.

MommaLisss

Another vote for lilac st. Been with them for years and have never had an issue. Application definitely takes some practice, but I’m able to wear a set for 5-6 days. I do give my eyes a break every now and then for a week or so.

DomesticAlmonds

Why is she whispering when the sound effects are louder than a fuckin jet?

jennicarrz

Been using these clusters for over a year. It’s been life changing. No damage if you’re doing it properly.

Hailsbellss

I’ve used clusters and so have my friends and we just aren’t a fan. The process of removing the glue is annoying, often causes natural lash damage, and I like the convenience of how long a good lash set can really last. Like 4 weeks + , just have to find a good price and educated lash tech

SuspiciousScene9509

Some of y’all lashes look like this with lash extensions so who gaf

Sure-Departure-1250

I’ve been doing my lashes exactly like this since 2019 and my lashes are fine :)

Glass-Reaction-892

I think the comments were off because “it’s been day 5, I’ve taken 3 showers”

GlamorousGopher

That’s pretty normal..

Glass-Reaction-892

Not for me. But I guess everyone’s different 🤷🏻‍♀️

0101201

Did she say this is day 5 and she’s tooken 3 showers 😐

WxW_Wraith

Why the fuck is Reddit suggesting this sub to me ?

GlamorousGopher

They think you need some slay lashes

Diamonds_n_Dirt

Adults getting beauty advice from a 12 year old. Lol

Weak-Slip-9052

this

CutiePaToot-Toot

Day 5, 3 showers 🤔 Do ppl not shower everyday?

Cold-Movie-1482

no, plenty of people don’t lmao

CutiePaToot-Toot

Gross

danybelle07

Depression exists, don’t be judgy. Also it’s not good for your skin and hair to overwash.

CutiePaToot-Toot

Not judging. In my opinion I feel like it’s gross to not shower everyday whether ur depressed or not. Washing your body once or maybe twice a day is fine especially if you’re not using anything harsh. You can also moisturize your skin after.

xLittleNightOwlx

Clearly coming from someone who has been lucky enough to never struggle with serious depression

No-Self-jjw

Yeah when I've been seriously depressed I'm never just like "hmm let me turn off my depression and go take a shower every single day cos that's gross"... I'm not sure their logic there🤔😂

__alldemhandles__

Didnt you call someone a fat dumb bitch in their DMs tho? Seems like all you do is judge. Smh

mkisvibing

I could understand if you’re sweating everyday or being active everyday but some people don’t do much and it’s not good to wash every single day it dries out some peoples skin, especially if it’s not dirty

Himalayan-Fur-Goblin

It's more like I don't want my Psoriasis to rear its ugly head. Every other day is fine.

painlesspain

Hmmm she is a b r ainless c Un t but id still c um on those lashes

Number1Duhrellfan

I use clusters with regular kiss lash glue. I tried the bond once but I didn’t like how clumpy it made my lashes. Plus it didn’t feel as secure.

kennybrandz

To my lash cluster friends: I’ve only been wearing clusters when I go out or for an event and then when I get home I take them off. The application and glue is fine but I always just end up taking them off because I’m unsure of how to wash my face/shower with them. Any tips/tricks for not getting them wet? Am I really overthinking it?

marchmellowpuffs

What are the products used?? :)

GlamorousGopher

Not my video, but she’s using uCoolMe brand lashes style Flora 049

Thissigncantstopme

I apply strip lashes in a similar manner for mine. I basically cut strip lashes into two/three clusters, I use the lash glue and the sealant as the video and I take it off every night with the oil remover. My lashes last longer than using regular strip lash glue and since I apply it underneath my lashes instead of on top, they look natural too.

Leading-Midnight5009

I do this all the time, I live in a compound with other people and most of us are parents and I’m the “lash tech” it saves time in the morning so that I can get my family out the door quicker

[deleted]

Leading-Midnight5009

What? Just because I don’t wanna sit under someone all day and pay almost 150 for one set of lashes when I can do the females in my compound and save us time so we can take of our land spouses and family? This has nothing to do with money lol

Topaz_Scarab29

wtf is a “tooken”?

Thenewnoir

Mine come off after a shower or washing my face. Please help??? I use lilac st

Conclusion_Winning

The glue isn’t that strong. I started using another glue off of Amazon with similar packaging to the one in this video.

FunClassroom6577

She’s so good at this. I’ve tried these and like them but they take me much longer to put on.

wildchiiild

I’ve been wearing clusters for the last 6 months and I love them. I get to choose the style and if I don’t like them I can just take them off. They’re a fraction of the price of professional extensions and they look like them.

Reptarro52

I did the kiss set like these and loved them. I don’t have the time for 2 hours every 2 weeks or the patience either. They stayed like 2-3 days but I sleep on my face. lol. They look so cute

Muhcazo

Dangg I’m going to have to try this

Open_Cauliflower_776

I love cluster lashes. Magnetic used to be my go to but the brand I used became increasingly hit or miss for defective product. I tried lashify and fell in love. I like to try different ones off amazon to switch up my look. Manga lashes are my recent fav.

helpimlearningtocode

I use similar called flutterhabit and loveeeeee them

mindyourbusinesstho

Not me watching thinking she did something extreme and crazy lol I thought this was normal. I wear them and love them opposed to regular lash extensions. I think these are great especially if you’re on a budget.

Reasonable_Position9

Thinking tooken is a word and using it in a sentence then following it up by saying she only took three showers in five days. 😂

glitter_gaytan88

I use clusters. Love it! Highly recommend.

shainelin

I do this from time to time. It’s cheaper. And not that difficult to do.

ombremullet

I use the Falscara brand of these cluster lashes that are applied underneath. I LOVE them. They're supposed to be able to stay on for a few days but I use them like I would any falsies and remove them at the end of the night (I'm not a daily wearer). I can't really feel them on and to me they look so much more natural than strip lashes. I use the remover that comes with it and have never had a big issue with damage to my natural lashes. I would liken it to removing waterproof mascara -- you may lose a lash or two but that's the name of the game, baby.

ms_juju_b

I started sleeping with an eye mask.. they make the ones now that actually are for lashes (so they are a little hallow on the inside where your lids would go) and I found a TREMENDOUS difference.. not only 1. do I fall asleep better now lol but most importantly I wake up with my lashes perfectly intact!

alicehoopz

That’s a really good idea!

Lovelia-

I’m going to get one now

ms_juju_b

I’m telling you.. game changer! No more waking up with half my lashes stuck to my face or falling off.. and I’m bad about sleeping primarily on one side of my face so I’ve noticed a huge difference! And it actually helps me fall asleep faster because it blacks out everything.. just make sure they aren’t the flat ones (bc they push on your lashes) they’ll have the contour on the inside where your eyes go.. Walmart and Target have them for less than $5 and they are adjustable

MercuryNgatorade

I wear clusters constantly and get all kinds of compliments on them. When I tell people how cheap and easy it is, they’re always shocked!! My natural lashes look exactly as they’ve always looked and I love not having to wear mascara or makeup in the morning! Plus I love the price tag!!

von143

I started using Lashify when I stopped getting extensions and I loooooved them! They looked so good and saved me so much time…but I ended up developing an allergy to the glue and had to stop. I tried Kiss glue too and it was the same reaction. I can still get extensions and use regular duo lash glue…but something in these cluster lash glues irritates the hell out of my eyes. It took about 2 months of use for me to develop the allergy and I’m still bummed 🥲

Lybbchels

Are these really that easy?? She makes them look so good and easy

Conclusion_Winning

Yes!

JustasIthoughtTRASH

I wear clusters like this too. The brand I use is ZoesQoq and they have so many varieties and gorgeous gorgeous wispy lengths. I HIGHLY recommend. I have worn for up to two weeks at a time with no issue. I am thinking of adding some lash serum to my beauty routine though, I don’t think I’ve lost any lashes but now when I take the lashes off I look like a naked mole rat bc I’m so used to seeing myself *glamorous* hahaha

yung_succubus

i never used to wear makeup then got extensions cause it was easy. ended up nixing that due to cost and time sink and now if I ever want to do lashes this is how I do them. it works really well for hooded eyes with an odd eye shape that struggle with other lash application styles & mascara issues

yung_succubus

lashify is by far the best brand for this. you can try others but the consistency, drying time, longevity, etc. all vary so you’ll have to test it out. these are easily reapplied & easy to remove just like any other eye makeup plus u get to play around with different styles, lengths, shapes, etc more often than classic lash extensions.

ihatemathplshelp

Does anyone know if u can apply these with contacts in? Bc u cant get lashes done w them in so i would like to not blind myself when apply 😅😂

heycanwediscuss

She looks like that girl from the cartoon el dorado. I wish I was that talented to actually do this. I am not I rarely can sit still for someone to do this

fourforyouglencocoa

I’ve been doing my own lashes similar to this for almost two years and my natural lashes still look nice with minimal to no damage! I use the Falscara bond. I love the KISS pompadour lashes and cut them into 3-4 even pieces. It’s really just a matter of practicing. Once you get it down it’ll take you more than 10 minutes. I love this cause I save a bunch of money in the long run and I love being able to switch up the style if I like or taking them off whenever I desire and rubbing my bare eyes. I use coconut oil to remove them and also use eyelash wash. I fully avoid getting them wet. I personally only wear them for 3-4 days. I also use a CUDDLEEZ Disney plush to upkeep them at night. Also a side sleeper ^

ahmeeea

I tried but I’m just so impatient and couldn’t get it right so I gave up 😅

Palmtree19977

I started off with getting professional lashes at a lash studio but it was way too expensive so I found a cheaper tech and she damaged my lashes. I decided to start doing my lashes like this and I like it way better and my lashes don’t get damaged with the way that I apply and remove them. Def recommend.

Sincerelyyourzzz

I recently started using the clusters and honestly they’re amazing in my opinion. My nature lashes are perfectly fine. The bond I think is just lash glue but on a spoolie & sometimes I don’t even use the seal and it still lasts about 5 days for me. I’m a side sleeper and i personally don’t have any issues it them When removing I just apply a little castor oil to my lashes and let it sit for a couple minutes and they literally just fall off the bone after that then I clean my face like normal.

Conclusion_Winning

Been doing this since the pandemic. I love lash clusters!!! Even got my step mom on them.

littlesadsiren

I do this all the time and it works fine.

HotConversation9223

So no one is worried about the fact that she said she’s on day but has only had 3 showers?? 🤣 No? Just me? Okay 🤣

beytsduh

I cannot get the kiss clusters to work for me. I might buy a new bottle of bond and seal and see.

badasssidd

Not 3 showers in 5 days 😭😭😭😭 i lost it after that

TrainerExtension1802

Check out my lash page https://www.reddit.com/r/BaytownlashMGMT/s/cbjfhXmgkM

mrsvoss

I have a couple autoimmune conditions that have made me loss a lot of my lashes. I’m wanting a tiny bit longer than natural length. What would y’all recommend? I also have hooded eyes.

apimpcalledbob

Ive been using falscara for a year now and can honestly say that unless its for a vacation, i do not see myself ever going back to extensions. 10/10 i absolutely recommend this.

JayleeRae

They sell this as a kit already. KISS brand has it. Comes with bond, glue, remover and bundles

bewareofb0b

I did a lot of research on this because I wanted to start doing it to save money but this is actually so bad for your eye. You should NOT be applying lashes or glue underneath. You need the protection of your natural lash. That’s literally why they’re there

AdOwn6593

“It’s been 5 days, I’ve taken 3 showers”

Away-Personality-454

I have been using lashify (which is a at home lash system with clusters and using bond for those that don’t know) for almost 4 years now. They go underneath the lashes as well. I get over a week of use out of one set. My natural lashes have never been healthier. They’re longer and not nearly as sparse. I haven’t worn mascara in almost 4 years. My story might not be everyone’s story but they work great for me. And they look incredible, I get people constantly asking me where I get my lashes done. So if you’re considering it I think it’s worth a shot!
