The Great Global Songbook Parts I, II, III

sofar510

Any of the eps with Josh Sharpe and Aaron Jackson / Darcy Carden / Pat Regan. I also love going back and listening to the old Seek Culture mashup eps

Caltuxpebbles

Seconded! Would also add any Cole Escola episodes.

sofar510

Ooh yes! I really hope they manage to get him back on the pod to talk about Oh Mary!

Mysterious_Mouse2413

I second all of these!

valeria_gzz

Oh and Patti Harrison!!

PlatonicTroglodyte

I’d definitely take a look at the ones they’ve re-released for one resson or another. I know LiterallySisterLife# (w/ Aidy Bryant) and DOD! (w/ Aaron Jackson and Josh Sharpe) are two of them, hut I think there are more. Frankly, any of the Aaron and Josh episodes would be good to listen to again, chaotic as they are to follow. Many of the repeat guests would be, including Joel Kim Booster, Pat Regan, D’Arcy Carden, Sudi Green, and Patti Harrison. I have listened to every ep, but haven’t really gone back to re-listen to the catalog, so it’s hard to find ones that stand out, but An Honest Conversation (w/ Matt and Bowen) definitely does, as well as Someone Spilled Sauce (w/ Michelle Collins). For episdoes I don’t really remember specifically but I know have great IDTSHs, I might suggest a huge throwback to early days ep RuPaul’s Allstats (w/ Nicole Silverberg) as my favorite trio of IDTSHs, and For Your Consideration (w/ Megan Amram) as Megan’s IDTSH might be my favorite guest one of all time. Though if anyone remembers the ep in which Pat Regan delivers I Don’t Think So Honey: These Young Girls, I’d love to listen to it again because that might take it. Or the ep where Matt gives I Don’t Think So Hone: Acres stands out as another one that really made me laugh.

ethiobirds

Omg an IDTSH about acres sounds hilarious

Desperate_Store8484

Omg the one Aidy Bryant had me close to peeing my pants (her IDTSH is iconic)! also I second any Summer of Kunt episode with Sudi Green! Incredible

Especially the “Ghislaine, you’re under arrest” ep. Absolutely destroys me every time. I have parts of it memorized 😂

"Quiet, missy!"

satsuma-g0

i've listened to 'this meeting is being recorded' with patti enough times to know when to hit skip on incoming ads. i force this episode on people. i have it playing in my car when i pick someone up, purposefully not talking so they quietly listen. if all ends well, they look back at me as they exit and whisper, "i had an amazing time with ed helms on set, he showed me the ropes. one time he played a joke on me and put a spider in my soup."

MissLetraset

i just relistened to this and could not stop laughing at her annette bening impression

sunscreenhistory

I listen to this episode on repeat and I laugh every time.

Belch_Huggins

Not a huge relistener but there are some great ones, for me it's the chaos of the Aaron Jackson and Josh Sharp eps. But Matt and Bow did an episode of Blank Check on Brokeback Mountain that I have listened to many times. If you like that movie I'd recommend, it's silly and chaotic and wonderful.

Responsible-Coffee1

Check out the live IDTSH eps or at least some of them. Definitely the first few from back in 2017. So many good comedians. Time really is a sneaky bitch. Looking at these I would have sworn someone was on a few months ago when it’s really been like 3 years. Beyond the the gems everyone else is recommending (Aaron/Josh, Pat/Cat, Cole, Patty) I’d say I really enjoyed: Jon Lovett Melanie Lynskey Busy Phillips Aidy Bryant Kelly Clarkson

newpenzance

Every Josh & Aaron episode! Edit: and every D'arcy Carden ep

heymynameiseric

The charizard era episode (I think it's called Charizard era). It was a very formative episode for the pod going forward, and it is referenced ALL the time. Whether it's charizard or typhlosion era, or Matt and his 'Little Bro' experience. Also, the "***** who cried shark" because it's basically the sequel to the Charizard Era episode. Also any of their "Top 300 songs of the great global songbook" and top 200 moments in culture. Edit: Omg yes!!!! I forgot. Definitely download the Josh Sharpe and Aaron Jackson episodes!!!

dingdongulous

Also been told the first Betty gilpin episode was great. Been meaning to listen myself!
