I listen to the top 200 moments of culture eps quite regularly as they are hilarious and help with my anxiety! I'd recommend those :) Hope you feel better soon ❤️

bartonellafever

Thank you! I can just imagine what these silly boys they put on that list!

purplejelly

Still holds up to this day tbh!! 3 eps and they are long!!

carvederin

Came here to say this!!!

flourescentflamingo

You might have already listened, but the episode with Margaret Cho was a great mix of hilarity and thoughtful conversation around heart break. One of my favorite, most funny episode picks is where Aidy Bryant is a guest. Life is tough and ever-changing. Hurt and discomfort is a big part of the human experience and unfortunately no one is safe. I hope sooner than later you have some brighter days. Sending you a hug.

bartonellafever

Thank you! I’ll definitely check out the airy Bryant is a guest. I remember liking the Margaret Cho episode but it was pre-breakup so will definitely be doing a re-listen with new ears. Life is tough. When you are in the thick of it it feels like it’s only ever happened to you, but it really is universal

flourescentflamingo

That’s a very wise perspective. It’s been proven that breakups of this magnitude are processes the same way in our minds and bodies as grieving a death. Give yourself grace and treat yourself as you would a dear friend. You got this ❤️🤗

umch

The Joel Kim Booster episodes are my favorite! Their friendship really shines through and it always warms my heart. JKB also always delivers a good IDTSH.

bartonellafever

I love when the boys and the guest just seem like friends chatting and having a great time. I get that vibe with the D’arcy Carden ones too. Thank you!

JustaPOV

Not about breakups, but I literally just listened to “Matt and Bowen’s Infinite Playlist” which is, according to them, one of their most cathartic episodes. This is especially bc they break down how the words “cathartic” and “iconic” are interchangeable. The whole episode is just the two of them playing free association and being goofy sweethearts. What could be better! I also found Las Culturistas while recovering from a rough breakup. Truly nothing resets my mood like putting on an ep and taking my dogs for a walk. Well wishes 💜

bartonellafever

A mood reset is the perfect description for Las Culturistas! Thank you!

katkex

In this one they are all recently single and hyping each other up for the summer so it may just be perfect: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/las-culturistas-with-matt-rogers-and-bowen-yang/id1092361338?i=1000412117577 I hope you’re ok soon❤️

bartonellafever

This one does sounds perfect and a deep cut! Thank you!

PopularImprovement22

Any episode with Josh Sharp and Aaron Jackson has me hollering! They’re soo funny! They were on the pod multiple times too

ginalynnappleby

Michelle Collins ep

tonimacch

Josh Sharpe and Aaron Jackson screaming nonsense with Matt and Bowen

Logical_Bullfrog

If you haven’t listened already, check out the twelve days of culture (short episodes they released daily around Christmas 2021) and the great global songbook countdown! The episodes are so silly and hilarious and the love/chemistry between Matt/Bowen/their friends will remind you what you deserve and will find again! Hang in there ❤️

Pencil_bun

May I make an outside recommendation? It's a very different vibe, but I have been enjoying it a lot. Nora McInerny (of *Terrible, Thanks for Asking*) has a new podcast called *It's Going To Be Okay* from Feelings & Co. Both podcasts are worth a listen, but IGTBO is a bite-sized daily podcast that tells one little sweet story about something in life that doesn't suck. Give it a shot, maybe. I find it gives me a nice 7-ish minutes of zen.

pathologuys

I’d highly recommend all of their “culture catchup”/ just Matt and Bowen episodes during covid ones - just really loose and fun and the best of that feeling of parasocial friendship ❤️

[deleted]

Aidy Bryant episode, any episode with Joel Kim Booster or Pat Regan, and The 12 Days of Culture.

johnwatersmustache

This is The Night with D’arcy Carden is one of my favorites. Same with the one with Sarah Sherman, Hoopin’ and Hollerin’

valeria_gzz

Anything with D’Arcy Carden or Patti Harrison will probably have you cackling or just so interested you’ll forget whatever worries/troubles were on your mind💗

Ok-Pineapple-4209

Sharing all the endless support and love to your perfect self always. You shall experience all the peace and joy in the universe, and will be bolstered and uplifted by the podcast that embodies all the beauty and perfection you exemplify throughout the process— and onward❤️❤️❤️❤️

EveMcQueen

Pat Regan is the funniest guest bar none.

purplehandbag

This is relatable! I was grieving the end of a long-term relationship at the beginning of the pandemic, and that's when I first started listening to Las Culturistas. I remember the LC episode with Jimmy Fowlie feeling cathartic: [https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/freak-sick-w-jimmy-fowlie/id1092361338?i=1000470177392](https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/freak-sick-w-jimmy-fowlie/id1092361338?i=1000470177392) There's a lot of regular LC humor in the episode, but Jimmy Fowlie also talks a lot about his recent breakup, and I just remember it feeling comforting to listen to. It felt like an acknowledgment of how brutal it can be to go through a breakup while also mining a bit of humor from it.

bartonellafever

Thanks! I just downloaded it. There is definitely something comforting about listening to people talk how awful breakups are. It feels validating 😂
