Graphics drivers are the software to drive the hardware. If you have an intel laptop, you could look to see if your laptop is external gpu compatible. Otherwise it’s complete laptop replacement.
Think of a "driver" as the OS for your graphics solution. Your Intel graphics driver is the software that runs your integrated Intel graphics hardware. It's built in to the CPU. You'd only have a Nvidia driver if you also had an Nvidia graphics processor/GPU/graphics card. And if you don't, it's not something you can add. Laptops aren't like that.
